🧘 This 10-minute guided meditation isn't just another video. It's a life-changer. Harness the power of simplicity and mindfulness:
1️⃣ Close your mouth (if nasal breathing is accessible for you).
2️⃣ Let your tongue rest atop the palate, right behind your teeth.
3️⃣ Breathe subtly through the nose, mimicking the delicate breath of a sleeping infant.
    4️⃣ Gently exhale, maintaining tranquility.
5️⃣ Sync with my voice in the video and let the magic unfold.
This technique is your gateway to soothing the Vagus Nerve - a key to combat stress, anxiety, and depression. Overexertion of your nervous system? Feel trapped in relentless Fight-Flight? The people you surround yourself with and how you feel matters.
🌍 Embrace the present. Life's fleeting moments are treasures.
Awareness is the compass that directs you to where you are and where you wish to be. Your choices and perseverance sculpt your well-being. Own your journey.
Long bouts in Fight-Flight distresses your nervous system. Recognize the symptoms: anxiety, persistent stress, doubt, and the weight of others' opinions. But remember - YOU have the innate power to balance and rejuvenate.
💪 I've been there. From a dynamic CEO to facing a panic attack in 2014. My journey from then? Exploring the depths of psychology, philosophy, neuroscience, and Eastern practices.

You are my favourite. Just so calming. Consistency is what I need to work towards. It's amazing when you are in fight or flight that all you know to help yourself just disappears. It's not easy, but I know it will get easier. Thank you.

I’ve had a tough few years, what with one thing after another, culminating in cardiac ablation in June 23, which has truly messed with my vagus nerve and bottomed out my HRV.
I KNOW I should be meditating and doing breath-work, but I always put it off! You answered my question as to why I’m constantly prevaricating instead of simply getting on with it. Now I know what the reason is I can deal with it and do the work. Thank you. 🙏

Thank you especially for what you said at the very end of the meditation… The availability to cause before responding in a stressful situation, which is something that happened to me last night with family, if I can add a 10% of growth rather than one percent that many of your clients are seeking. Just hope next time things are stressful with family. I can remember your suggestion to just pause! I sometimes think OK just take a moment and then it’s like still. I need jerk reaction in response to someone who has upset me. But I’m gonna keep working on it until it improves 100%, thank you

Just discovered Justin caffrey and have started playing the sleep meditation before bed which I have found really good. Justin has a very soothing voice. Just listened to the video above enjoyed it but found it hard to do the nasal breathing. I was ok with initial inhale for 4, but couldn't exhale through my nose for 6 so I had to switch to exhaling through my mouth, I wonder is this just as beneficial. I don't think having blocked sinuses has helped.

    Hi Justin!
Thank you for your meditation. I cried a lot at the end because I had such a bad neck pain and a brain fog. It did clear. I was unable to have a refreshing nap for 2 days because of that.
What meditation would you recommend for the pain specifically, that is not too long. 17 to 20 min is usually enough for me.

    • @JustinCaffrey
      @JustinCaffrey  8 місяців тому

Try to hold the air in a let it out a little slower than how you inhaled. It may take a bit of practice. We breath in and out quickly when trapped in fight-flight, so slowing this down helps the nervous system know that it is time to recover. ✅💫🙏
