    Very supportive . I’m a breath coach but I sometimes need to hear others so that I am reminded to take care of me 🙏🏻

    With American Thanksgiving tomorrow, I feel the pressure kicking in to get everything perfect. This helped me slow down and ease the pain sensations 🧡

    Thank you for this video! Question if you are in shut down do these same things help? Or are these more for fight and flight?

    • @painpsychotherapy
      @painpsychotherapy  4 дні тому

      Depends person to person. Generally sometimes gentle movement is important to shift out of shutdown.

    Hi Loving your resources 🙏can I ask visualization of any physical activities/movement eg I been asked to go out to a coffee shop go or for a short walk (I have severe Cfs) it gives me more stress/survival flight response if I visualise is.. (prob bc of crashing after these types of activities) my body is now scared
    What do I do instead - safety messages & somatic practice? Thank you ❤

      You can do visualization somatic tracking, where you visualize the trigger (mild at first) and then regulate. It is important to do this mildly at first though.
