Also i just went through this ladies. Its very true. I was being texted every day by a guy who lives 3 hours from me and he was a family friend. He never made any plans because “he works too much” 🙄🙄 he flattered me with words, was constantly checking on me to make sure i wasnt hooking up with other guys. The whole thing was sickening to me and i had to exit the situation because i knew my self worth. He wanted to continue talking every day even after i expressed i deserved better. Ladies, when you meet a man like this....run fast!! It was a total power trip. I feel much better having let him go!!!!
I had same guy in my life.... completely made my life hell for 4 years....I blocked him for 6 months ..when I unblocked he was same.....every weekend he wanted me to roam with him...he used to appreciate other woman ..when I told ..if u like other woman .then leave me...he said u r friend ..and his action was like we dating ...such biggest narrssist ...final few days back ...I lost it...abused him on phone for an hour...and blocked him ....I m feeling so relax and free...😀
I cannot believe this scenario is so common that there is a pattern for it used by Guys! I've lost (literally lost) 2 years feeding my visualizations (dreams?) that we could have been in relationship! He was texting me, poking me on each story on IG, becoming jealous when posting pics with another male friends; promising at the same time that we will visit Spain together, to the mountins and so on - we had met each other abroad and we were leaving 3 months in the same place - and afterward when each of us came back home he started with his empty promises - he was visiting my city but never called to hang out while he was still texting,n clicking likes under my FB activities, each summer he hooks up with his ex girlfriend (yes I know this because we have comon firends) when she visits my city, now he has a new girlfriend keeping texting to me! ( I have blocked him almost everywhere, so he still texts on Signal) - fortunately I have realized that last year so past 10 mths I am just laughing how childlish he still is and being not fair to his new (10 years younger GF) I igonre his msg; I feel guilty I let it to happen, been manipulated, skipping other dating opportunities just beacuse of texting with 1 Guy because he needed validation or attention - stupid me!!! Ladies watch out for this type of Guys and always count on actions, not texted words! Ouch! It will be hard to stop, to cut off, because we have habits to check his profiles etc, but muting his accounts is a good option.

I have gone thru this too! The bung hole was in the Marines. He lives 2.5 hours away, I know, it’s his job. We used to date - amazing sex. Idk 🤷♀️ at first I kept him arms length. If he came to my area San Diego we both lived here now, he’s in Palmdale. He texts me last minute to what I’m up to.
I’m a nurse! Sometimes I’m at work- but I deserve way more consideration.
I used to have him on a pedestal now I see what a dysfunctional, immature egotistical little man he is
So true.. i stopped caring ,i don't even call,view is status and reply his message on time and i worked out on him. Am so sure he is not happy that he doesn't have that control. He knows i won't run after him. If he ghost me i just let him be and lol he comes back saying i can't be without you.. so funny
I dumped a little child that was just like this on March 25 this year. He was crazy. I walked away like a queen. His ego was so blown. I moved out while his oldest kid was in town at the house, so he couldn't say he threw me out of the house. He begged me not to leave. He was rolling under the radar, an undercover narcissist.

In my opinion, men don't usually let women go.
They'll come and go as and when they please. Keep you on a rotation. They need supply and hate knowing they have no options. So they keep you around.
They need a placeholder, FWB , bench warmer , a body to keep them warm at night etc.
It's nothing personal.
holy moly, this is so spot on. i'm drained, exhausted, and stifled ever since this person came into my life. the worst part is, i already know it was ego right from the get-go, i'm just way too enduring and patient to accept the fact that indeed this was toxic.
💯 truth! He can do the same with ten women and date none of them while he feels like the big man on campus! Get the attention and compliments from women.
Drop him like you never know him! Block all contacts !! Keep walking make sure you never look back ! He doesn't exist!!

Dang! This is so related to my ex boyfriend from the past and my ex husband from the past!! No wonder I never have a happy relationships! Now I listen to this just made me realize that that is it!! Good thing I walked away! It’s been 18 years!! Now I just found my true happiness!
Very true and right on. What happens when you marry this type? In my case, being intuitive, I knew every time he cheated. After 7 years, I nicely told him this life with him is not working for me and packed up me and my daughter (didn't want her to be with a man like her Father), broke me to pieces, I left and moved across the continent to start my life over. That's what you do, you walk and never look back.
Thank you so much for giving me clear permission to completely ignore him. I usually feel like I should be "polite" and he is an excellent manipulator. I have to include his family and friends as well because he will even use them in his games.
Just don't be a "people pleaser" ! This is also a syndrom that puts us in trouble.

I am embracing myself, my home as his home base, the only place he wants to be. He has been thrown from the pedestal I myself placed him. I love myself too much, and I refuse to be controlled & manipulated. That's abuse. I have been controlled, I have been in a repeated & habitual pattern of being addicted to feeding my addiction to corrupted high emotional thinking. It's up to me to take back control now. Thank u soooo much for being real & telling the truth! Yes i think i was in this situation for a while. A guy was kind of stalking me for a while. I wasn't really scared because he is quite a bit younger than me (He doesn't know that). I wondered why. I guess he is trying to make me keep him in my mind. Totally egoistic! If he cared enough, he would have fought all obstacles to actually be in my life.
Thanks to you, i am choosing to keep him out of my mind so i can live my life way better. If he continues, he can keep watching me live!

Wow. It is so good to finally hear a man admit that some (really, I believe, lots) of men want to “OWN” a woman!!! I came to this conclusion and in speaking with some guys on this (“owning”) they seem to especially feel this way 1) once you’re married to them and 2) once you have their kid(s) & regardless of marital status.

Good vlog, it does explain the strange lingering association that some men have to past relationships, esp my Narcissistic ex-husband who was not a good guy, who cheated, then did awful things to take as much as he could after our marriage ended, but seemed upset at the concept of me moving on - thus his controlling behavior got worse and has been a nightmare for three years AFTER our divorce!

I had something just like that- he was doing this shit to me I didn’t let him very long he was not leaving me alone. And I just blocked him. But before that of course 😂 I sent all the screenshots of love msgs he was trying to hold me with to every woman he liked a picture of! 😂 he regretted deeply he tried this shit on me- he is a psycho. Anyone that ever tries to do this will get the same crap I promise. The bad thing about this is that person doesn’t think how much damage they can do to you by wasting your time.
Real Love is buried in your mind until it display you will look for Love here & there hopelessly

Wow! I'm watching this just in time. I've been talking to a guy about 3 weeks, 2 hours away, met once, NO HOOK UP, calls at least twice a day, sometimes more. The first time he said that he wasn't sure what he wanted, I told him I understand. I told him to take all the time he needs & feel free to get back with me when he knows what he wants & we can go on our second date, if I'm still available. The next day he was blowing up my phone & leaving texts. I finally called back & he seemed to have gained clarity. One week later he is confused again, after hours & hours of us of laughing & great phone conversations. 😳 smh. This weekend WOULD HAVE been date 2. Thank you Alex. I'd rather be hurt by the truth than to be kissed with a lie.

Be cautious about the direction thing.in my experience its just a ploy to draw you back in, usually deeper and deeper and at your mental expense no to mention I haven't heard of any of these changes being real or lasting very long!. I do pray for your sake sweetheart that your person is the exception to the rule! Please don't take this wrong I mean it out of love and understanding because I've been there!!! To many times, and usually they become violent!!! Be safe
