I personally believe that he won’t let me go, because he knows how good of a woman I am and he has to face the fact that one day another man will value and appreciate me. ❤
He doesn't want to let you go because he sees you as an investment/property something that belongs to him, and he sees like if you don't want to be with him then you shouldn't be with anyone and if you don't want to spend the rest of your life with him you shouldn't have a life of your own! It's not love it is infatuation. You don't owe anybody anything. You don't want a low value man who treats you with disdain and contempt because he feels inferior to you! You deserve so much more. Leave him behind!

People stuck in codependent dynamics will struggle to let go, if you look closely the majority of relationships are unhealthy but people choose to stay continuing the dysfunction. Choosing to be single meanwhile working on becoming a healthier version of me has been the most rewarding investment I made after walking away from a toxic relationship. Too many women stay way too long with dead beats wasting their precious time, energy and resources. Remember you are Queen with or without a man, adjust your crown, straighten your back and walk away with dignity. Don’t let a man mistreat you again and again, a messed up man will break your spirit over time.
Sometimes they're not deadbeats, some are great providers but just don't know how to treat a woman.
Most men are truly weak inside & needy for a woman as their Safety net so they don’t have to listen & reflect upon their own life
That is so unfair that the man doesn't let the woman go just because he can't stand himself and be alone by himself. What an selfish behaviour!
It’s Narcissism
They are never alone tho, they always have multiple women in rotation… they have other dummies… so I’m still confused…
It’s very draining when you’re trying to move on with your life and a person is practically stalking you and keeps trying to get back with you after being extremely verbally, mentally and emotionally abusive, playing mind games, devaluing, criticizing and insulting, cheating, scheming and scamming you. But then want to wait a few months and act like nothing happened and ask you to start going on dates with them while also going through a divorce.
You just gave me the reason why my ex couldn’t answer me when I asked him what were his intentions? I broke it off with him years ago because I felt there was no progression, too many lies, and other ‘inconsistencies’ yet he kept reaching out, despite me asking him not to since we both wanted different things.
I’m dealing with this now! Only gone a week without talking but I’m hoping to keep that up.
Yup I dealt with that too....unfortunatly I married that man and now looking back at this nightmare I wish I wasnt "so nice" and stood up for myself and meant NO back then...How much power i had and how much of a wonderful life I couldve had in my younger years instead with a man that sees no faults and no room to grow and change for the better. Ladies how they come is how they are. When they show you who they are, believe it. Believe it and RUN! And if he doesnt leave you alone....call the cops. Enough of loser men taking advantage of young valuable women and destroying them.
That’s a problem. So because he has issues, he choose to disrespect her.
Let people go, so that no one’s feelings get hurt. People don’t have integrity when it comes to relationships. Do the right thing regardless.
This isn't hard to ignore when you put it that way. Thank God for the truth! No one should ignore the truth, ever! This message will set a lot of captives free, or at least those who have ears to hear!

Why would you stay in a unhappy relationship. I would rather be alone. As a person I've to love me first. When you love yourself you will love the other person. Relationship is equal love . Once you both love each other. You will have respect and honest with each other. The one side love will make one person unhappy. That will never work out in any relationship.

This is exactly the situation I am in. I have broken this relationship three times. He lost his wife of 39 years two months before we met. He constantly needs attention. We are long distance relationship and he wants to see each other every 3-4 weeks. I know he is not for me. Yet he won’t let me go. I need to send him on his own path as he is blocking my path. Looking for strength!

21 years for me too. Walked away last Sept with low contact, now no contact. He still tries to reach out in all kinda ways n I do not respond!! It's hard, but I do it. About to file for a divorce.

I’m perfectly fine being by myself then being with a narcissist ever again that has rejected me for 6 months of rejection so I had enough and I’m finally at peace I’ve stopped believing in love 6 months ago he would just want advice on his co workers I warned him when I’m done I’m done I’ve tried working on this relationship just to be rejected for 6 months

Run. Run far and fast. Treat him how he makes you feel. There are good men out there who would be good to you and happy to just be next you you. The first time my boyfriend said “come here. Just lay here with me. Just be with me” I was like, what? He just wanted to lay on the couch together, doing nothing. And he loves spending time together. I was so used to my ex saying he’s still at work or needed quiet time. Just being in the same room shouldn’t be a chore. He’s keeping you from someone who would love time with you:

Thank you! I just broke up with my EX husband today. We have been divorced for 3 years, but still together. I’ve never been completely comfortable in this relationship. He’s terribly negative, and I hate it.
The trouble is, when I break up with him, even divorce, he WILL NOT LEAVE ME ALONE! I’m so miserable. But I feel so guilty.
I try to find videos to describe him, and they all say “Narcissist! Narcissist!” And I don’t feel he is one. He’s incredibly insecure.
He’s sending tons of messages and phone calls right now. I’m hiding in my house with all the doors locked and curtains pulled. He just walks in. I hate it. I feel terrible, but I can not see him face to face. It makes me too weak with guilt.

This is happening to me now my ex left me (4 months now) ever since he saw me driving past him one day he can’t stop messaging and ringing I’m in no contact at all with him he has been asking about me to my family at their workplace like it’s weird and I feel a tad stalked 😧 like just move on I don’t get it you left me so go find what your looking for.
