Man I’m such a visual person when it comes to this stuff so thanks for the video. What if I don’t have the BMS intercooler - where would I connect the flex fuel it and the CPI line to then?
BMS charge pipe on there intercoolerd come with the bung for the 1/8" NPT nozzle. I have the Mishimoto intercooler is drilling and taping a 1/8" NPT port the only way to go or does MISHIMOTO make a charge pipe with it built for cpi nozzle already?
I visited a new Shell gas station near my house today and noticed they have E85. I've been interested in trying ethanol for a while, but I couldn't find a gas station that offers it until now. Today, I started researching what I need to make this switch, and I came across the recommendation to use the BMS flex fuel kit. I also watched your video and learned about the CPI kit. Additionally, I noticed you have a BMS intercooler, which I was planning to install as my next modification until today. Now, I'm unsure about the order in which to proceed with these mods, considering I can only do one right now without my wife giving me grief My current mods: JB4, CIA's, MBRP exhaust, etc. I'm torn between getting the flex fuel kit first, then the intercooler, and eventually the CPI kit. Alternatively, should I prioritize the intercooler first, followed by the flex fuel kit, and then the CPI kit? Thoughts
First start running the flex fuel kit, start with Map3. You can also use Map4 with it. Use a 30% E85 blend, factoring in the 10% ethanol already in most pump gas. After that, i’d recommend doing the CPI kit, as it’ll allow you to really utilize the E85, producing more boost. Then, install the intercooler to reduce heat soak. Hope this helps :)
How easy was it to disconnect the fuel line from the FLEX FUEL SENSOR toward the CPI "TAdapter? Any special too needed here? I'm adding the CPI "T Adapter" TO the FLEX Fuel Sensor like you did because I installed the FLEX Fuel kit way before
I have a few questions 1- did you improve times at 1/4? 2-how that injector get activated to push extra fuel? 3- does BMS give support for installation?
There’s a tool you need to get for that. I Show it on my flex fuel install. And if you let the car sit over night. The fuel will lose pressure and won’t be to hot and you won’t get any or very little
@@stinger_gt219 hey brother is there a point in having the jb4 with an ecu tune or the main purpose is for jb4 to control what’s going on and the ecu tune is just unlocking more potential? So I will end up getting a CEL when I do install my cpi? Or just when you run more then e30-e40
Bruh, did toy ever find a regular slot in the fuse box to use for the fsb power, the pictures on the install guides are crap, pretty sure my injectors not cycling

My cpi kit should be here today along with a bms intercooler. Thanks for the video.
You’re welcome bro
Good stuff man, been following your build! Don’t have CPI yet but my JB4 just came in, so it’s a start.
Trust me. The jb4 will wake the beast up 🙏🏽😈
wish my mishimoto charge pipe was already tapped. i like how with bms it sits at the bottom where mine will be sitting on top, coming in this week.
Wished you had this video out a few months ago lol. Thanks for the video man.
what fuse are u using
Thanks for this, installed mine last night
Glad I could help brotha 🙏🏽
I can’t wait till you post a run with the CPI Kit.
Soon brotha
What location do use for the jsb power connection in fuse box? I know your running like your own fuse box but if your not what stock location you use?
Send me a DM on IG

I’m sure they sell an adapter like the WMI kit
Yeah you might be right. I’ll look into that. After I’m done with exhaust I’m definitely wanting this to be my next mod.

Pretty straight forward. Have you disconnected the fuel line before?
@@stinger_gt219 no
Someone else originally installed my FUEL IT Kit. I'll be installing the CPI KIT this weekend myself
So half of it is already done
@@brian3255 it’s very easy tbh. If you need help. Just FaceTime me on Instagram
Great video! My question is, did you have to drill a hole into your CP, or did the BMS intercooler already come with that space?
BMS already comes with that bro
If I install a cpi kit can I still run regular fuel or do I always have to be mixed from that point on?
You can run regular gas bro
It’s also recommended to run 93 to clean out the system after running Emix for a while
@@stinger_gt219 sweet bro. I appreciate your quick response.
I have a few questions
1- did you improve times at 1/4?
2-how that injector get activated to push extra fuel?
3- does BMS give support for installation?
Does the intercooler pipe have a plug...so it can be plugged till u get the cpi
Yes, it’s covered
What kind of fuse box extension thing is that sitting on top of your fuse box?
It’s one I bought of amazon just so I can plug anything else like my underglows, lit kit ex.
CPI is da way 🍊
Yes sirrrr
How did u disconnect the stock fuel lines? Any fuel spew out when those got disconnected?
There’s a tool you need to get for that. I Show it on my flex fuel install. And if you let the car sit over night. The fuel will lose pressure and won’t be to hot and you won’t get any or very little
Does injection location matter?
As long as it’s on the charge pipe
If you don’t run above E30 is there any advantage to a CPI kit?
Well if you keep it on, I’m guessing it’s still going to push more fuel through the charge pipe.
Is it possible to run full E85 with a CPI only? Even if to performance improvement?
Have you had issues connecting to the JB4 after installing the cpi and running too high of an ethanol percentage?
Only get a check engine but I spoke to BMS and they said it’s normal since I don’t have an ECU tune yet
@@stinger_gt219 what’s the highest e-85 percentage you have ran with this ? So far I have done e52

E50 for now

No need to cpi can push extra gas rt from your gas tank
