I should never have started watching this. I am now 3 weeks behind on Days of Our Lives. Haven't touched a book and the laundry is yelling at me. Good thing I have a tolerant husband.
So no one admires Rodney for wanting to take responsibility for and love this baby he believes is his? Perhaps no one in those days could've predicted today's world of fatherless households where guys are having babies with 3,4, 5 different women and shunning their responsibilities with all of them so they can be free to go on doing as they please.
I said the same thing a couple of episodes back. Rod shows maturity by wanting to take responsibility for what he believes is his child. Yet, people still hate him for it. I've decided that all the haters around here never made mistakes in their lives since they seem to all be so holier-than-though and judgmental.
If he didn't want resposibility, he'd be damned. He will take responsibility and he is damned. Rod can't win and the kid isn't even his. Can't wait til the truth comes out!
The courts wont enforce child support laws because they want CPS to have control of the children. Plus the government encourages it by doling out benefits. More babies more $$$.
The way Jill is behaving, insisting that Kelly has to stay with the Carsons and have nothing to do with Rodney should already ring alarm bells. Also if Rodney’s name is not on the birth certificate, what makes him think he has a claim for custody
LOL! Steven is way too busy wallowing in self-pity for me to ever feel sorry for him. He's stupid enough to believe if he can break up Betty and Rod, that Betty will go back to him. She's done with Steven. He ruined their marriage.
Do it Rod- file for custody, for a baby that likely isn't yours!!! You'd be better off just making another, god knows you're good at making "love children"....bah, ha, ha, ha!!!
I heard that Ryan's oldest child, Tatum, was born less than 9 months after he married Joanna Moore...and his 3rd child, Patrick, was born less than 9 months after he married Leigh Taylor-Young. As for Redmond, we know Ryan never married Farrah Fawcett.
People I thoroughly dislike and have since the beginning. Eliott, never like him. Norman, I couldn't stand him, then liked him when he first married Rita, now he is back to being just an ignorant punk, and Steven. Didn't like him at first, liked him when he and Betty first married but grew to dislike him.
I suspect that Allison and ""Jill Smith"" were both pregnant, probably in the same gestation period, giving birth around the same time and living at the same Home For Unwed Mothers. That they no doubt exchanged their ""life stories"", that Jill ASSUMED Allison's identity, and probably gave Allison's name as her own when she gave birth to Baby Kelley. She has now gone to P.P. with intentions to commit fraud to get financial help with her own baby being passed off as Allison's baby. After all you have to take into consideration that Allison, Rodney, Jill ALL ARE BLONDS just like Baby Kelley.
Betty was a very good wife to Steven. She went along with him when he wanted a spy in the Peyton House; she went along with him when he was attempting to prove Martin Peyton was incompetent; she stayed with him after he humiliated her in front of the Governor and PP elite; she stayed with him when he refused to leave the Peyton house for the sake of their marriage. The final straw was Adrienne. Steven was the one who was a bad marriage partner.
@@suki44883 Yes, she did love Steven. But I would have thought she would be the one cheat, the way her eyes would be glued on Rod, but it was Steven that left that door, of infidelity open, for her to go out and cheat, freely.
@@c.calliecoleman1531 Betty never cheated on Steven. Why is it so hard for people to understand that she and Rod had a bond and cared for each other and always would. But she never cheated on Steven with Rod or anyone else.
Those empty boxes on the wharf look heavy! LOL
I too noticed 😂

Everyone needs a pleasant diversion. Laundry can wait.:)
Lol. It sure can tie you up. That says a lot about the writers, and fine actors, for something to hold my attention, this long, they're great.
😬😬😬😬😬😬😬
I totally get it!!
PP can be addicting, I am addicted 😂.

Maybe a woman shouldn't have sex with a guy she isn't married to! Just a thought!
The courts wont enforce child support laws because they want CPS to have control of the children. Plus the government encourages it by doling out benefits. More babies more $$$.
The main one that hates him for it is the completely irrational, violent Elliot. Who, I think killed his wife.
Elliot is turning into a real AH.
He always was. I never liked him and I still think he killed his wife. I think Catherine just wrote that in her diary.

How can everyone forget where the " bracelet" fits in. Jack Chandler could be the father.
Who would have ever thought way back then that a lot of jobs (loading dock, for instance) would be taken over by.....robots ... sad....
Steven darling! just give up on Betty, she is not worth to be your soulmate.... let her rotten with golden boy.
Yeah, Steven, get lost! Betty doesn't want you and it's your own fault.
The Supremes sang Love Child.
Leslie is the greedy one, he’s the one always after the Peyton money/assets. That’s why he wants to make sure Rodney gets his hands on it
Oh my nerves. Rossi sounded just like Sergeant Friday on Dragnet when he was talking to Joey boy.
Yes, he developed a different voice during this show, he sounds like David Janssen sometimes. I liked his softer, sweeter side.
I saw this in the 60s I am 70 but I love i again I was never a fan of Norman's chracter
Me too!
Did anyone else notice that the boxes at Peyton Mills were obviously empty????
That Joey has a peculiar face. His facial features seem to be askew...and that nose...uugh!
Sure Stephen isn't guileless. I wouldn't be if I'd had to tolerate all the crap his family has thrown at him. I don't blame him.

What happened to Rodney getting the blood test?
Don't know.
Elliot"s being a bastard.
I'm sick and tired of his explosive rants. He rarely talks, just yells! Give that guy a chill pill.
@@Constance8722You're right!

I wish Betty would come to her senses and get back with Steven.
Ryan O’Neal was a horrible father in real life!
Betty if you truly love Rodney, you will also love his child, regardless.
What's it to Jill if the father wants access to the child ?
It's Jill's baby, that's why.
@@HighrSelf Right.
Esp. once she released custody over to the Carson's. So it's out of her hands, about having the father see the baby.

Jill never even knew what Allison looked like. That's why she had to pump ROD

Betty has hurt Stephen more by always turning to Rodney, pretending to love Stephen. Now she's following the money.
Betty is just a chip off of Martin Peyton's block.
