glad we're seeing lwess and less of Susan these days..Diana Hyland may look marginally better tnah she did b4, but she's still an eyesore...i don't know what John Travolta saw in her......
You are part to blame for Rodney's accident. . you and that business and bringing Steven in. Face it Norman, everything would have worked if only you didn't talked Rodney into partnership in that business.
As much as I like Eli as a character, I just can't develop any interest in this new romantic interest he's been conned into by Norm & Rita. I don't care for the lady for some reason. I've been skipping past these scenes, sorry to say. Rod's relapse is rather tedious. I'm actually finding the Miles' & Russell/Rossi storylines alot more interesting.
during a brief stint working in a hospital, i am fully aware of: ''i don't want a black doctor''..common sense dictates that door swings both ways: whether racism has anything to do with it or not, some people just feel more comfortable with a ''familiar''..and if the subtext i get from this is at all accurate, then it makes absolute sense......
The lou story is getting good...
I so hope Susan gets hooked on Mrs. Riggs's hard cider.

Dang that's harsh. Poor John Travolta lost 2 loving women to breast cancer. He stayed with Ms. Hyland until she died. She was 41 and he 23 yrs old.
Norm Gotta Explain the Facts of Life to Vegetable Rodney to get Rodney out of Relapse.
Everything Norman is saying to Rodney is causing more stress that Rodney won't acknowledge/cope with!
Roll on to the end of the series.

The miles son has only proven what better circumstances can do for the mindset growth elevation intellectuality of children
I cannot stand Norman....

Black people need doctors so badly. All the more reason for Lew to become a doctor.
? so only black doctors can treat black patients

I hope that's not what he's implying.

it's like an unspoken understanding, a meaningful look that those involve understand; a kind of shorthand.....
