Pasteiners Book Shop Cars and Coffee - Woodward Avenue - Detroit

On Saturdays, Pasteiners Book Shop has a cars and coffee morning that is well attended every week.
The book shop is located on Woodward Avenue near 14 mile and is an absolute candy shop for car guys. The family that runs the shop are super friendly and it is impossible to go in and not buy something.

Cruising Woodward Avenue for Detroiters is a long-held tradition covering many car eras. Woodward Avenue is the first concrete paved roadway in the USA and has a rich history.

The Woodward Dream cruise occurs every year in the middle of August and over a million people attend. Typically, I will cruise during the week before the actual cruise Saturday but not on the Saturday itself just purely due to the volume of Saturday traffic. For car people it is a bucket list item and very well worth attending.

Today was the first day I took the E Type on the freeway, and it went like a dream. I am still finding my way with the car, but my confidence is growing.
On the way home I cruised about 5 miles of Woodward. Temp gauge stayed pointing at the L (75 deg C) the whole day which is a relief to say the least.
