Vinny, I have tears in my eyes learning about how this woman tortured her son!! As a mother, I just can’t imagine how anyone could torture that precious little boy, Timothy!! She deserves the death penalty!! Thank you Vinny for your passion in getting justice for victims!! My heart breaks for Timothy! 💔💔

I despise this evil woman. Funny how she had another panic attack right before jury questions. Also, trying to put this on her oldest son. The Award goes to Shanda for 'I don't know '!!! Her famous words. Lock her up for lifetime without parole.

There really arent that many resources. Especially a they get older. They can be very destructive if they are on the severe side of the spectrum. Almost impossible to handle if your dont have $ to get help.

not impossible to handle,I work in a group home with people considered on the severe side my son is also in the severe side there's always a way to manage these behaviors even the destruction it just requires patience, kindness, and empathy. clearly she had none of that. She could've sold her extra property to get her child proper medication but she is going to attempt to victimize herself as much as she can.@@jeannegarcia7325

@@doggy2638 im sorry if I was rude or of it come out wrong. No offense. I can have my opinion. There is not any excuse for what was done to this child. I am so sad they actually starved him😢 He deserved better. However, no one in this family was able to provide the level of care he needed. He should have been removed from their care. The dad pretty much dropped him off at the crazy moms house and never looked back. He knew she was abusive. He just was tired of the kid staying up all night and destroying the house. Taking care of someone like this is a soul sucking experience. They didnt even have him in school! They could have put him with experts to help him. The child needed someone to love him and invest time in him. The dad was out. He kept the other normal child. This Boy was not even potty trained and he would do things like disconnect the water heater from the gas and take furniture apart . shanda herself had multiple issues. She could barely care for herself. She was trying to punish the autism out of him. She thought she could train it out like she does w the dogs.its shocking because she's educated and shiuld have known better. It doesnt work like that. Shame on me? Who do you think you are too say that to someone because they think differently. For what? I know several families with these situations and it is not easy especially when theres not a lot of money and theres already health challenges in the family. Sorry I dont paint things as rose colored. This child needed more than anyone was willing or able to give. Her would be alive if he was in a group homes or facility. She hated this kid because he was another full time job. He probably was a sweet kid but no one was talking care of him the way he needed or deserved.

I survived being raised by an extremely abusive mother. This woman has some of the same traits my mother had. Narcissistic, lack of empathy. Need to have total control over the abused. Ability to put on an act for others so she can hide her real criminal actions. It's a form of evil. I am forever scarred by my experience. But my evil mother didn’t totally win. With hard work and a lot of professional support, I've made achievements, reached goals, and contributed to my community in a positive way.

Usually it's those of the higher class and status who wield the financial means to hold back most press coverage of their crimes, if not avoid the whole justice system entirely.

There ain't nothing wrong with calling up the local DHS or even just counselors to have them help you cuz a good family counselor can help you in court and everything so there was plenty of options out there for her she didn't have to starve that child she did that s*** fully intentionally because of her working at the court system you know damn well she knew the in and outs of the laws and how to act right and she had a service dog for herself did you notice that? That she said she had the pretty much same diagnosis as a little boy and she was such a poor little thing for heaven the same diagnosis is and she had herself all taken care of but her messed up mental genes are what affected her children she should have thought about that before she spread her legs

I live in Arkansas, I have had HELL trying to get my oldest seen since he came back home 3 years ago. He was with me his whole life, but he wanted to go and “see” if he could live with his dad and his new wife. It was awful.. the things I could tell you, but my point is, even after he ran away and came back home I had to fight and fight and it was like pulling teeth to get ANY thing done medically. Dentist, therapy, school. All of it. His dad wouldn’t ( and still won’t ) let me have his medical card or info. We’ve been in a 3 year long battle over it all. It’s utter BS!! He’s not fighting for me to have custody back, but he’s fighting on medical ( I want nothing to do with his insurance, I just want to carry him on mine ) and he’s fighting me on child support. It’s ridiculous to have this prolonged of a battle. The doctors office, school, dentist all fought me. Their hands were tied. Because I did not have legal custody of him anymore. There was nothing they could do until his father either came down and did the paperwork and brought the medical insurance with him, or if I got custody myself,. It’s been hell… They didn’t necessarily turn him away, but there was nothing that they could do to treat him w/o insurance AND permission. I learned to stop telling them anything about not having custody of him at this time. That was my way around it. And I just started paying cash. It’s not been easy. I have no help from him. I have three other children children. It’s crazy. Something in the system needs to help those of us who are battling in situations like this. to someway force the other parent to follow through for the sake of the child. I was 27 when I became a mother, raised my child alone as well with very little money, having cancer twice and ADHD. Was it hard? Yes. Was it worth it? Hell YES!!! Never hurt my child, not one single day have passed for the last 22 years without me telling her "I love you to the moon and back", she was/is from the moment she grew in my belly, my sun my moon my oxygen my everything! This parody of a woman deserve to be put in isolation on one piece of bread and one glass of water a day for the rest of her life!

I think she resented him. She resented the time and attention this special needs child needed or took from her. Some people can't handle the time and responsibility it takes to raise a special needs child. Especially one that gets into things or doesn't have a normal sleep pattern. But there is still no excuse for this kind of abuse to a child. Paul only lived with her for about a year. Sounds like she wanted him there for him to care for the special needs child, which is too much for a young man like that.
