- If you are adding third party scenery to the sim that conflicts with custom airports from Asobo, you may run into some problems. In this video I'll show you how to fix them.

Hello Pete! So glad you are back ❤! Thanks for sharing this information - I don't have the new FSMS2020 yet. But, I do have a heavily loaded SE-FSX version, and I didn't realize that I could check for scenery conflicts this easily. Can't wait to check it out on my system. Very nice video. I had similar problems with this kind of things in the past but this is no longer an issue now (at least after latest game patches like SU6) and you don´t need to uninstall the stock content therefore. All you need to check is that your custom airports are always placed with higher priority (below the stock airports in "Content.xml" file). The scenery file can be manually edited and is located at "\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache". In FSX we had an option to do this in the menu that for some reason is not included in MSFS. If you don´t want to play around with this file all you need to do is to do is install content in a particular order always: first the official Asobo ones or world updates, then the marketplace ones and then ORBX and anything that goes in the Community folder. Anything added to the Community folder will be updated after game launch. The Asobo and marketplace ones are updated live while the sim is running. Please note that unistalling content will not remove the related entry from "Content.xml" file (only non existing entries will be added automatically after installing new content and launching game). So if you later on re-install old content the priorities will remain as they were set if you didn´t modify that file yourself.

Small problem - Asobo has screwed around with the Content Manager screen and the select and delete options are no longer available!

Thanks for this sir. I have been wondering how to handle the third party airports I purchased with the ones already included in MSFS.
I did discover, however, that if you remove certain ASOBO airports that are used for the East Coast USA Tour (I removed KATL and KDEN since I had the 3rd party versions) it will not run and the sim tells you they are required to run the tour.

Hi froogle! Am I the only one who sees your ORBX vehicles sunk into the ground - before and after? I have both sceneries installed , see only the ORBX ones and they are level! BTW there is another way to fix duplicate sceneries - discribed in the latest issue of "FS Magazin" (1/2021)
I'm wondering if you can buy the basic package and then buy the airport and planes you want? Is it more expensive that way?

Dear Froogle , For years i ve enjoyed your reports/videos,great stuff. Help please ,discuss the MSFS2020, problems , since August i,ve been trying to down load the massive patch down load ,, on download loop !5 months plus , i,ve conntacted Microsoft but they are of no help.

Why are there two mice on your screen
I have this same type of issue, however I only have a 3rd party scenery installed for an airport that doesn't have a custom Asobo scenery so I can't delete anything but the default runway textures still overlap with the payware textures. Is there a similar fix for this?

My content manager doesn't show up in sim
I am trying to get my Iceland Package working , crashes at BIIS ""Bush Flights , yes I have the 1.17.3.0 ver.I did check thru Real world loaded the Biis so go str to it, crashes.I think if I reload it the package from the Store again be okay .BUT !! If you delete it from your Profile manager then go to the store I am afraid it will say ""YOU OWN IT"" and wont be able to download it .I did check all other areas in the globe all is okay Just Iceland the B's airports crashes. Any Idea ? I dont see the advantage of using the orbx airport as long as the surrounding elevation data is so bad. I still have Xplane11 here with Orthoxp and its sooo much better ... the texturing and elev. data at least.
