My next engine I’m sending to them from Indy, and we have everything here from Indy car shops to top fuel teams to some of the best engine guys and cylinder head builders. I like the small atmosphere. My current engine was machined and assembled by a 2 man operation that build some of the baddest cars all over the country. Now they are just trying to stay on top of all the machine work no more assembly.
I like the attitude of these guys from TKMP. Great advertisement and makes me want take them my next builld.
TKM followed. Great video, really shows the professionalism and knowledge of those guys building killer engines.
Just watching this REALLY makes me want to pull my bullet and get it refreshed.
Using stainless steel rope wire (1.6mm) run it around all your water channels in the block before you grout fill. this will function like “trench mesh” does too concrete. you will greatly increase the grout strength (when done right)

Hmmm. Hate to tell ya but......
It's referred to as a 4 bolt, because of the number of head bolts/studs per cylinder on the factory blocks. LSX aftermarket blocks have provisions for 6 head bolts/studs per cylinder, thus they're able to handle more boost. If you want to take advantage of that, you have to buy 6 bolt heads. As for the mains, ALL LS based blocks have 6 bolt mains.

You may want to bolt those main studs in to the intake ! After seeing that Cummings blow the block off the crank!! But it was making like 3k hp, just wonder the TQ! 10-15k Ftlbs,

@@MrConbread I have to question waiting on main bore line hone to set clearances by crank journal specs. It is my belief that clearances should be set by bearing/babbitt ID not OD. Would setting clearance with main bore ID(hence babbitt OD) not influence the crush of the Babbitt's or do you feel like it's such a minimal amount that it would not have any consequences?

4.4 - 3.78 = 0.62 doesn't quite look like over a half inch between those cylinders. 4.4 - 4.125 = 0.275 maybe
