No offence, both my sisters are ISFJs - I would recognise one from a mile away, you're definitely an ISFJ; personally one of my favourite types. In general, "NT" shouldn't stand for ingenuity and intelligence because it isn't imo. A lot of the self-typed "NTJs" on yt are istp/infj
Also, ENTJ is the most disagreeable type for ISFJ(and intp too tbh), doesn't sound like your partner is one. Maybe ENTP? As you would be duals ...

Thanks for sharing! I enjoyed your video
In hypothesis my favorite mbti types are INTP, ENTJ, ENTP and maybe ESTJ so we have somewhat similar taste both having ENTJ and ENTP as some of our favorites :)
    Also I'm an INTP

The closest friend (albeit online) that I have ever had in life was an ENTP. The one downside, if I can mention it, is the inability to stay grounded. After speaking for two years, he just disappeared, no trace. I still don't know what happened, as we didn't have a falling out, nor did he discuss why he was leaving. I just went to message him, and found everything closed out. He slammed the door on me, which I found ironic (that stereotype is unduly perpetuated towards INFJs, but the INFJs that I know don't do this to anyone without trying to discuss with them first many times over a long period of time-- and often leaving a boundary instead of completely shutting others out). I suppose, Ne-doms sort of get this idea and run with it in the other direction, and if you aren't going that same way with them, then they leave you in the dust. I'm not saying that all of them are this way, but I've noticed a sort of flighty, carried in the wind disposition with many. It makes trusting them a difficult endeavor, despite them being fun and adventurous friends.
Lately, my closest friends have been another INFJ, an INTJ, and an ISFJ. I have an endearing attitude towards NTPs in general, and seem to find them in online spaces without much searching. I long to adopt them in the same way that you do. haha.

I did this to someone recently after they were inappropriate with me a few times over text. I felt guilty though (I was having dreams that I interpreted as based on guilt) and unblocked them and sent a message back to explain exactly what they did wrong and that I did not want them to contact me anymore and the guilt went away. Do ENTPs not feel this guilt and if they do, can they just ignore it? But in your case it sounds like you didn't do anything to make them want to shut you out but even if you did they should still tell you why. You can adopt me if you like!! I love INFJs. My best friend at school was an INFJ. We don't keep in touch as much anymore as she lives away but she kept me sane during my school years. I believe my sister is an INFJ too!

Definitely fun! I share your love of ENTPs and ISTJs! I once had a manager who was an ENTP, and it was utter chaos, but it was a great experience. It wasn't at all harmonious, but I think we appreciated each other anyway. ENFPs are so great they make me feel insecure, the irony here being that I have a couple friends who are certain I am an extravert which would make me an ENFP, and there is just no way. I knew right away I needed to hear your thoughts on ESTPs, because I think I may actually be biased against that type fairly severely, which I am working on. So many bad experiences... I feel like I don't even need to say that I love INTPs, like that should be one universal given for everyone always.
Probably the wisest person I have ever met is an INFJ, and I definitely share the sense that INFJs and INTJs are often freakishly smart. You are definitely lucky to have an ENTJ in your life, and fun fact, they are now considered the most rare type, and that's the least surprising thing I have ever heard. In contrast, ISFJs and ESFJs are just absolutely everywhere, and thank goodness they are generally so warm to me. Weirdly enough, I have two ISTP friends, and the ISTPs are definitely brash and sometimes feisty, but it works. Super fun!

ENTPs are the definition of chaos!!! Sorry about your bad experiences with ESTPs... at school some of them were bullies. Once an ESTP hit me!!! Rather inappropriately I might add!! But they were doing it to several people to gage their reactions. I gave them a mean stare and went on my way... I could see that they were bored and doing it a they thought it was fun or maybe showing off to their friend group but still it was so uncalled for. Definitely immature. My sister is an INFJ actually! I definitely see the aux Fe in her but she talks a lot less than even I do so I can't say really if she is wise or not. I've always gotten along well with her despite her stubbornness!

@@FindingYourSerenity Hahaha, ESTPs are a difficult one because sometimes that behavior seems so playful and innocent, like they are a poorly trained puppies or something, but then that extends all the way to being the most animalistic, rage-inducing, toxic form of bullying, so who knows.
It' very fun to hear about your stubborn INFJ sister! I had an INFJ friend in college who I lost touch with when he started teaching in Morocco. Freakishly smart, and one of the wisest, most humane, gentle people I have ever met in my life. He actually fit the really romantic descriptions of idealists. Someone on a personality typing message board recently wanted advice on how to find INFJs, and I described my friend that way and said that my advice is to scout out the international studies office at their local university, and the INFJ will be the one with a gentle smile that has a touch of melancholy in it.

@@Hinsoog Some ESTPs are quite intelligent and some healthy, whereas some definitely have more violent tendencies. I think if they really channel their excess energy and learn how to handle their feelings rather than projecting them onto others, they can really be decent people. I've seen both ends of the spectrum you describe. Many definitely seem like 'jocks' in their teens but as they age and develop, can be good people, and those who aren't can be like Trump, who most definitely has to be at the very least a narcissist. There are some ESTP musicians that I really like such as Dave Mustaine from Megadeth or the singer from the band Highly Suspect. I think that music can be one way for them to really get out their feelings as well as really feeling in the moment with their Se (on stage especially). That's a very accurate description of an INFJ!! They are wonderful. My friend and I have drifted apart somewhat, with her living and working away and working an insane amount of hours as a vet, but, growing up, she really had an old soul and was wise beyond her years, which I kind of see in you as well. INFPs definiltely can seem that way too. Tbh INTPs can be quite immature at a young age, either thinking they know everything or are always right and epecially when it comes to theirs and other peoples feelings, but the INFJ can be a great influence on us.

@@FindingYourSerenity I am trying to change my attitude a little bit about ESTPs, and actually I did finally have an ESTP coworker a little while back that did come to like me and I was starting to like him, and I think part of what happens is ESTPs can be fairly open-minded if it seems like you have a solid footing somewhere in the social world, like even if I seemed quirky or whatever else.
Hahaha, I know what you mean about immature INTPs being sure they know everything, though happily that was always kind of a fun trait for me to interact with.
