I heard of qigong a few years back and was intrigued. Then I was trying to find exercises to help with burnout and found this. I’m looking forward to trying it. I’ve done work with Reiki as well and find animals extremely excepting of it so I’m not surprised that your cat is hanging around as you practice.❤

Thank you so much for posting this! I have been looking for Tai Chi and/or Qi Gong to help with adrenals and stumbled across your video. I have adrenal insufficiency and barely made it through the whole workout. What I am learning about Tai Chi and Qi Gong is that it's all about going at one's comfort level and ability. Gentle is the key in helping to rebuild one's adrenals. Much gratitude to you.
Oh, and I love your cat! I always get a boost of energy when cats make their presence known. :-)

@@BodhiAcuandWellness WOW! I just got back from a walk. Usually I have to stop and catch my breath or use my inhaler. It was the best walk I've had in a very long time. I am down to 6.5 mg of prednisone daily and did not have the chest pain and breathlessness I usually get. I don't know if one session of Qi Gong can work that fast but I can't think of anything else I've done differently today. WOW! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! It's given me hope again.

In TCM It’s said “yi dao, Qi Dao” where the mind goes the Qi follows. It’s amazing how focusing the mind with a specific intention can have such a profound effect the working of the body. Happy to help

Thanks for sharing this. I see these movements actually could activate too much the body and make the Adrenals pump more Cortisol, which is not recommended for an adrenal already burned-out. Could you please expand some more on the intention of the movements? Are these for activating the tired body?, or these really have a healing effect on the glands somehow?

    • @BodhiAcuandWellness
      @BodhiAcuandWellness  3 роки тому +6

Great questions Jose. So, cortisol production is the natural result of stressful stimulus. This is normal and healthy as long as the stimulus is temporary. If however the stress is constant, then constant elevated levels of cortisol in the blood will lead to pathology and sickness. Qigong is designed to connect the mind, breath and body to the moment. This stimulates serotonin and dopamine production (our natural opiates) which counteract cortisol production. The movement in this program are specifically designed to stimulate the kidney meridian and the associated organ. In TCM the kidney maintains the health of the adrenals. I can assure you that this program will help your body to shift into a parasympathetic nervous system state which with disengage the cortisol response and help you heal.

This is amazing...I discovered some time ago I have adrenal fatigue...it really is severe as I lost half of my hair in a space of not even a month ...of course doctors did nothing...they actually told me to stop dying my hair🤣...if not my stubbornness for self healing and this channel I would be most possibly in a lunatic asylum by now... Thank God for this channel...💕💕☺️

    Hi Bodhi,
Thanks for sharing ,will be considering the app.
I notice the last exercise falling water is bent over releasing on only one side. I was actually doing your mirror image so released my breath on the other side .Does this matter?
Does the app have further sets/routines for very depleted physical and mental energy?
    With thanks,
    M

Hi Michael, Qigong is all about intention, so as long as you are mindful of filling yourself on one side and emptying yourself on the other, it doesn't matter what side it is. As for my app, it is the only one of its kind that can actually create a tailored qigong workout for you based on the info you input with regards to your symptoms on that day. It uses the 15 different exercises in different combinations to create specific sets for the uses..

My system is so burnt out that I was keen to get some assistance with TMJ problems that are really affecting my sleep and hence everything else. The bots are doing their work as happened to fall on your video for that condition so will practice this as well in addition!
Thanks for that as well !

Hello, I was wondering if you had any qigong practices that would help with chronic itching/hives, having nonspecific causes... the doctor has me on large doses of antihistamines, but we are trying to gradually reduce the dose. I honestly think I could get the itching under control if I could identity what is actually causing it. He thinks it's an autoimmune-based problem. I think it might be related to stress and anxiety.
You're not a allopathic physician, which is probably good, actually, when trying to get to the root of physical ailments, looking at the body's energy systems... Maybe I'm way off, but I thought you might be able to make some recommendations as to any particular sequences of qigong pratice that might help. Thanks
