Do they sound the same? What do you think? A few folks have pointed out that I never turned up the mod Depth on the GX-100. It probably would have even sounded closer had I done that when comparing to the mod button engaged on the MXR carbon Copy. Thanks to all for the input.

You never turned the mod DEPTH up on the GX-100. that's why you didn't gear any modulation.

Nothing comes close the the CC. I use that and Strymon timeline. CC is always on for me real mild. It’s beautiful

Thanks man, the only effect I find kinda weak on the GX-100 are the reverbs, I mean they sound good if tweaked right on the mix for rock, but I think they lack on feel and depth for ambient music styles.

I agree, I think the shimmer reverb of say an Oceans 11 pedal is hard to replicate, although to be fair, I have never tried.

I havent use the mod function but dont you have to turn up the mod depth to get any effect ? It was at zero here in the video.
