Have you ever considered telling Saffi you don't have time right now? It works wonders with you when Admiral Liu wants you out of her hair. A couple notes, scanning the freighters identifies their cargo hold as a target. Area scan also gives you advanced warning of the first enemy wave, although that doesn't really change anything (almost the same dialogue as when they arrive).
11:22 I don't know if you own the "TNG Technical Manual"? It lists planetary phasers that are rated above the ones found on the Galaxy-class. I don't think that DS9 ever did anything with those? 13:08 There are ways to destroy such a space station without a fleet but it would require doing what Soran did. 27:42 That situation is a good reason as to why warp-ramming should not be a thing. Aside from that, did I miss it or did the station's weapons stop firing as the freighters approached?
I wonder why when you were talking about it being a beast that the spacedock doors were still open haha. Quick way to bring it down if they flew straight in aka Death Star II
The game engine is very limited for todays standards. But back in the day, it was a fantastic game with a lot of graphic "bang" for the buck. Keep in mind, this was before multiple CPU cores were a thing. 2002, I think most PCs had like CPUs with 500 to 800 mhz. RAM was the hardest issue to run this game. So therefor the fleet sizes are quite low. Which makes it a bit more "realistic" I suppose. Its not the Dominion war.
