@@ange1uk Yeah it does have it's use! Just has to be used tactically since the Sovereign is pretty rubbish for combat stamina when systems are boosted. Forgot in all the movies Geordie telling Picard would he mind powering down systems coz the battery for the Enterprise is low. :D
16:00 It would be rather funny if they refused to open the doors to let you back out if there were hostiles in the area. 46:30 Spatial charges are fusion warheads. In "Star Trek: Enterprise" a single spatial torpedo wipes out a Xindi outpost. 47:02 You might recall how in "The Cage" it was said that the USS Enterprise's weapons could destroy a continent? 53:27 According to Doug Drexler the original idea was the make the Akira-class the NX-01.
If you had finished scanning all of the planets, you would have found the secret Rebel supply caches and earned the Emperor's favor. Unfortunately, traitors to the Federation now walk free because you didn't finish your Secret Order objectives. *** Back on topic, and spoiler for end of video *** I got pretty nervous when I realized the game hadn't told you how to command other starships, and you sent your poor Akira off half-dead without fresh torpedoes; fortunately you accidentally discovered this ability trying to see if there was anything you could do with "your" task force. I've also definitely made the same mistake of accidentally firing phased torpedoes instead of photons while switching. I also had no idea Kessok Heavy Cruisers would show up to defend the station, I've only ever seen Cardassian ships. Also yes, the Geronimo is used later as a support ship (and is very helpful compared to other ships due to having quantum torpedoes). That said, I might have complained more about its destruction had it not derped directly into a space station... :/
If the Geronimo captain was any worse, he'd have to be named Paddy O'Stereotype. It's perplexing that starfleet, with it's phasers capable of firing with a wide angle, have never made any form of anti-torpedo point defence
Low Intensity phasers will do you no favours if you are trying to destroy your target. Theyre only good for damaging subsystems without damaging the hull of your target.
And I was thinking if phasers shouldn't do more damage. He has them on low for at least whole episode. Like switched them in mission with attack on Starbase 12.
@@ange1uk Well Im just saying theres never a reason to switch to them unless the mission is clearly calling for you to disable a target (as it does for the Freighters) at the supply depot. If the object is to destroy (such as any of the stations you needed to destroy) low intensity just stops you form damaging their hull HP alongside subsystem HP.
You know, the first time you met the Geronimo, her captain said he'd rather die in glorious combat, and I can't think of a more glorious end than plowing straight into the station. He was an annoying idiot, but he knew how to make an exit as a true warrior.
Only thing to keep in mind using the tractor beam is it directly drains your battery power levels.
I know this one but I found it being quite useful in the end :D

Highly recommend the Kobayashi maru mod. A lot of mods need it anyway, but it is huge.
There is a reason some people call the nx-01 enterprise the akiraprise
You should go after the power reactor more on the stations, it destroys them quicker.
Bit of Klingon AI from Geranimo at the end. But I was glad he's dead too. :D
