HOW TO REPLACE / QUICK FIX NISSAN NOTE AIR BLOWER MOTOR

- On this video I am showing how to remove Nissan Note 2006 -2013 air blower motor or you can call it car inside ventilator.
Any way for this model Nissan (Note), sooner or later you will find yourself in trouble of loosing speed of your air blower motor and in the end it may stop working at all. To replace this, it is rather easy work and requires just a new motor and as well plus(+) screwdriver.
Since it is that easy, I suggest you , before you buy a new part, to remove your old air blower and inspect it, maybe the coals are stuck or something else has blocked the ventilator :)
If you are good fixing things and want to save money and nature, then you can go and try to find new coals( graphite brushes), since I dont have a new one next to me I cant tell you all dimensions, but the most important, height - is 7 mm and width is 5,5 mm. Any way you can easily shape them as you want and to replace them you wont need too great skill as well, however you will need to find them first, what might be harder.
If you are very lucky, it might be just enough for you, if you will clean the brushes brackets and the motor might work as good, in worst case seleccionar you might have wiring problem in your car motor, but by using the air blower in normal environment, usually these motors last really long time..
Any way I hope this video might be useful for you, if suddenly or within longer time you have lost your air blower power :)

The lip/flange of the blower cracked just a little when I squeezed it in. But over a year later the blower is still working fine. Thanks for saving me a bunch of money! 2006 Nissan Note E11.

I just took out mine, it looks fine but still dosent work. It works sometimes in all speeds but then it goes of. It can start to work after a longer drive.. Do u you think I need to switch it or is it a loose cable? Thanks for yr video

Iv just tried and boom steering in the way,, looks like il have to remove complete dash to get to it
Mine isn't working in 1st and 2nd , maybe it's a fuse ??
@@andrewmorris6212 It's the resistor most likely. Edit, had this on a rover was a separate part, basically 12v is speed 4, 9v is speed 3, 6v speed 2 etc. Low speeds usually die first.

How do i replace the resistor? Because i checked the fan with the battery and it worked, fuse is okay in the fuse box, im lost on where the resistor is
Nevermind, it's under the steering wheel, it's the only thing with green connectors coming out of it

Not that easy on the Right Hand drive as the steering column etc is all in the way :(
Yeah, I have Renault Megane 2, so I can imagine how it is if steering column is in the way, to remove the blower I have out pedals, all sort of air flow pipes and even then it is hard to get it out..

@@HighlandEnt no the steering column is in the way I did manage it after following a detailed description I found online but aright raul. I nearly gave up. I did take photos if you are doing one.

@@mickeylaws6030 I`ll try and find it but very basically I had to drop column and take off small metal bracket. Still very tight. Its more the bracket that the column bolts to that.s the problem. I`d call myself quite an amateur and I managed it ,I`m a big lad which didn`t help as most of the time I was upside down with my head on the pedals . Also you will probably need some help to lift the steering column back up to get the screws started due to the weight .

Just connect the motor to the battery, it does not matter what dirction, it will spin one or other way, if it spins, motor is good

Not always, but usually if resistor failed fan still works on full speed

Left hand drive only unfortunately (righthand drive isn't as easy)
How do you remove it on a right hand drive? Need to replace mine
@@garethpritchard7012 remove the side pillers (they are just push clipped on note airbag is behind them so don't go pokey pokey unless you want to damage it or set it off) once that is removed the top Dash again is just clipped on it basically just pulls right off no screws at all
The fun part is the fan and the driver side vent pipe
the pipe needs to be pushed out of the way (I bent mine upward it doesn't need cutting) but note it is on a push pin and I broke that is under the pipe so I use some carboard between the firewall and the pipe when I pushed it back on so it was been pushed back onto the climate control unit and the driver side vent
The motor just spin unlocks (believe there was a clip you have to press to allow spin) and unplug the cable and rotate the blower so the spinning part is facing the firewall and slide it up (do the same when putting new one in but be bit more careful as it presses between the firewall and the steering mount) plug the cable back in and twist lock it back in
Test the blower on the dash before installing it thought
When putting pillers back on make sure the the plastic pushpin are aligned up so they don't t get squished and pull the rubber trim back out with something plastic
