Just as the pitch was falling apart - Ralph mentions their additional company, a music festival that runs seasonally, this may have just been enough to bring light to their credibility...

The deal with Duncan fell through and they ended up going solo. The company did not dissolve as claimed by some and instead underwent a major rebranding from Victor’s Drinks to The Greater Good Fresh Brewing Co. They are still active and recently had a massively successful Kickstarter campaign for a home brewing kit which began shipping December 20th, 2019.

Fontus haven't shipped a single bottle. There's quite a difference since these guys have delivered on their kickstarter targets and are beginning to follow through with their delivery goals of The Pinter. That you latch on to the fact that it was simply mentioned as a massively succesful kickstarter campaign as a sleight against them is preposterous.
Morpheas I’ve been involved in many Kickstarter campaigns. They’re as good or as bad as the pitches brought to the dragons den. Gotta be smart and see what you want to invest in. You can be a Jenny and invest in nothing and live a boring life if you want.

Duncan really was the most likeable dragon. And he really did bring a sense of kinship to the den, rather than just being 5 people tearing down new entrepeneurs and pettily competing with eachother. He was also actually interested in budding entrepreneurs, unlike the other dragons at this point just sniping for already mid-sized businesses with exterior enough percentages that they can make a guaranteed 5-10× return.

Deborah aside who is an ethical investor, all the other dragons were too focused on putting their 2p in on picking holes in the product but none of them asked about the financial forecasts. Duncan put the people first and got a great investment in terms of risk to reward.

I really enjoy a completely different aspect of this one: it clearly shows how relaxed Peter Jones and Duncan Bannatyne are with each other. They really aren't threatened by each other, not even a little. Love it, because they are my two favourite dragons. 🥰

Incredible the psycology here. Duncan wants to take part, knows he did a big offer and is basically asking them to counter-offer with anything. They almost miss the deal due to being too inflexible.
I’m surprised that Peter didn’t ask them to merge the 2 companies together and make an offer.
This is easily the best episode I've seen. Its the first product I've wanted to go out and buy instantly, and the most interesting discussion about both the morality and mechanics of investing.

Fair play to the lads. Very well presented and got a good dragon in Duncan. Nice counter offer in the end too. Seems like Peter stepped in and told the guys to think about it just as Duncan was going to say he was out. Peter is always sniping for the entrepreneur's other successful businesses that they're not pitching so I appreciated when Pierce said "Can we get back to the cider".

They seem to have pulled it off, and have been releasing even more variants with very positive ratings. They now even have one that takes only 48 hours. And reading some of the reviews, Deborah's worries of students drinking the whole thing in a night seem to be correct.

A lot of people want to make their own paintings, but it's such a hassle and the painting doesn't turn out very good. I've developed a product which is a blank canvas, you push a button, and it paints itself!

What I really like about Bannatyne is how totally unpredictable he is.

Duncan once again proving he was the best Dragon ever.
The company is showing a huge (over 1 million) amount of debt for several years now. Suggests they aren't that successful and the Amazon reviews of the product are very mixed.
This business was with 2.148m in 2018 and 2.112m in 2019. Good investment.
