      I does sound like an unequal agreement. We don't know the full details, so he might have had his reasons for selling his part so (apparently) cheaply. But it's extraordinary that they didn't know the combined figures.

      @Neurotic Arts nonsense, he approached these two guys to help him do business in UK and they did for 10 months and most money spent were by the guy who claimed 79%, but they decided to go to Dragons for help, but companies were separate one was in UK while another abroad because in the case of Dragons rejection they agreed to stay separate...and that is what happened...Dragons are stupid, they want fully operational and profitable business for almost no investment of money and time

    • @saulsavelis575
      @saulsavelis575 4 роки тому +17

      @Neurotic Arts 20% not 1% and they were talking about UK business which was evaluated 80% and 20% given to the guy who had 0% in UK, the another story is about the inventor's business abroad and those 2 guys had 0% in it...it was a fair deal since 2 guys were never into inventor's pocket abroad, but gave to the inventor 20% of their own business in UK...and that 79% guy said that if inventor agrees after the merging all three will have 1/3 each, so the inventor messed everything up

    • @Cervando
      @Cervando 4 роки тому +161

      @@saulsavelis575 I fail to see how the inventor needed them. The sales the other two made were negligible. I really do not understand why the guy had 79℅ of the combined business, let alone how he would accept 33% after a Dragon invested. Whilst he may have had a majority share in the UK sales business, the Inventor must be a total idiot to give away so much of his business to him after he had invented the product, set up manufacturing etc and sold them for several years. So when both companies where gonna be combined they would've had to factor in that the other guy already had a large share of a existing company and the inventor had a invention that could possibly make them both money. That inventor dodged a bullet with those two "partners". He produced and hustled the most and had the smallest equity in the company. If they had merged, there would have been nothing stopping those two 2 shysters from eventually voting him out of the company, especially if his shares were redeemable. In that scenario, they could have forced him to sell his shares back to the company for less than fair market value. He would have been reduced to merely being able to look at his boxes in people's gardens, rather than substantially sharing in the company's profits. I think the Dragons saw it, too.

      Lloydy___ the inventor gave a terrible pitch. He wanted to show more of a dominant figure than the other two guys. Also he didn’t show any confidence in what he believed was a good business.
      Totally shambolic the 3 of them!

      Boyle Budley There was no clear plan and it’s shocking to waste multi multi-millionaires time like this when you have that opportunity in your life to make a pitch to change your life for excellent things ahead. The merger should of happened before they come into the den if there was suppose to be one. Sorry if your mate is that inventor guy, but he was as bad as them two. This is teamwork and teamwork you need a plan to be successful in what you want to achieve!
      And what he said at the end on national tv shows he blames everyone but himself. Disgusting...

    • @Britinsweden
      @Britinsweden 5 років тому +3

      Boyle Budley 3:53 is the big buggar up. It was the inventors fault and confused everyone else. It’s obvious the other lads wasn’t sure what to say after he said this because it’s out of their control. The inventor should of been the leader of a conversation of the plan of what to say... He didn’t do his job. He buggered it up literally

    • @Britinsweden
      @Britinsweden 5 років тому +2

      David Farmer its all a joke and the inventor is at fault here. He had no plan for the numbers he’s presenting. If the inventor come in on his own and did a business pitch by himself, then it would of worked. Because he’s come in as a team he did not discuss with his teammates what is going to happen. The two guys needed a leader. He is the big guy in this and didn’t help at all the pitch, all he did was make it worse.

    I bought one of these medium sized boxes from Brian Wilox the inventor of the parcel box. I live in a rural area so installled it at the entrance in front of an electric gate.
    It has save countless journeys plus hanging around for deliveries.
    It is a well engineered simple to use unit. The colours supplied are very plain and not very pleasing to the eye. I sprayed mine British Racing Green which blends it well in with country surroundings and makes it look like the quality box it is.
    Love it now and would certainly recommend purchasing one.
    Brian, being the inventor looks like you may have had a lucky escape from going in business with those dodgy salesman!

    The inventor dude is such a cool and intelligent dude. The other two are just leeches on his idea... The inventor has 20%, but has more experience and a good portfolio and the other dude on the right had 79% and is 'good' at sales. The sales figures, or lack thereof, prove otherwise... I wish the inventor the best of luck...
    Update: The divide between the investors is clear from the beginning and end. Both the dudes on the right and middle leave together and the other guy is quite confused.
