Thank you for posting this and like the other commenters I am amazed by the garage! The surprising thing to me is how different the riding position looks between the two bikes. The Low Rider looks relaxed whereas the Chief seems more forward-leaning, which I now realize makes sense since as the "Sport" Chief. Many thanks for this comparison, which I really appreciate. I believe the posture on the Chief Bobber would be closer to the Low Rider.
I am going to be getting a Indian in about 6-8 months when my house gets finished , to me the Indian just has more character and better lines . Even the scout rouge is ten times better than any Harley , I think Harley is just getting boring to me but i have never owned one.
I have a scout rogue I have done out. Love love it. Only problem is I want something bigger. More like a sport touring. Sport cheif is awesome but no luggage and fairing sucks. Wish they had a lowrider st version of sport chief
Good video! I like that you were honest in saying you would pick the Harley because you just like the Harley. For me, the reason I went with the Sport Chief is because off the show room, there's less that I needed to do to the SC to get some nice upgrades and I looked at the Low Rider S. I rode my SC in Sturgis and rode almost 800 miles and I can tell I need risers, but it is a great feeling bike and pulls harder then the Low Rider S off the line. haha
As a sport bike rider looking into this somewhat sporty cruiser class I think the harley clears the competition besides it's brakes. The significantly higher hp, mono shock, higher foot pegs, and LACK of tech pleases me but don't get me wrong the indian is a really cool choice but I might honestly prefer the new scout 101
sport chief def could have benefitted from more pull back in the risers and the factory tune is def meh ....i run the lloydz tune on my sport chief and night and day difference
Harley has been doing it longer they have it down 100 percent with looks and comfort. Indian is slowly getting there. Harley has the better looking bike, the lines just flow all together where Indian is all over the place with a more squareish look. The only complaint with the low rider is the piss poor instrument gauge. Indian’s is far superior. If Harley put the Indian gauge in the low rider it would be a even better bike.i currently own a 2023 Roadglide-ST.
Kindof apples to oranges. Then again, they are close enough to at least take a look. And talk about it. We all benefit. Thank you for making this video !! 🎉
Yes the bigger fixed fairing, bigger gas tank 5 gallon vs 4 gallons for Chief and I think better body posture as well. Just look at my daughter she looks so much more in balance with the Harley. And borderline dwarfs the Chief….wow.
Quick question- how tall is your daughter? I am similar in stature, but wondering about height. Thanks for the review! Loved getting both of your responses. ✌️
I walked in and they gave me the keys to any bike on the showroom. They didn't have a Sport Chief on the floor but was getting a new one in a couple weeks because they sold the one they had and they told me to come back and ride it. I went back and rode the Sport Chief and ordered a red one that day. Love my bike!
Must be just your local dealership. I’ve walked in, gave my license, and have ridden almost every bike Indian makes, except the Pusuit. Some I’ve ridden twice.
I did not like my knees up high from the foot pegs on the Harley. I am only 5' 6" and felt it uncomfortable. I had a Victory 10 yrs ago and some of the Indian reminds me of it. Not a big fan of Polaris.
I'm trying to pick between the Dean Speed Havok 2-1 Black or the Fab28 2-1 in black I know a lot of people also like the Bassani 2-1 and Lawless Garage 2-1. There's just so many, hard to pick! @@Iceagetv
I love the garage. Wishin i had one like that.
I'd be in heaven just being in that garage, subbed

Great video. Sorry if I missed it, but I didn't hear you mention the cruise control on the Indian. Heard a few people say they really like it.

I prefer Indian, but look at that garage!! Life goal right there 😃
Thank you for the great comparaison, as I find myself very hesitant between the two… looks wise, the ST is definitely a winner for me
Nice video keep up the good work fella

Its August 2024 and this is my dilemma but with these two bikes but from 2024.
I put a tall boy seat on my Low Rider st and it made a big difference in comfort.
how tall are you?

I heard you can go long distance on the ST. Can you

I don’t like bikes with modes and happy my bike’s mode is me. I feel the modes take away from the rider’s experience. Just my opinion.

She is 5’3”
The soft bags don't do the Indian any favours in the looks department. Great video, enjoyed it.
Those soft bags 💼 look sweet 😎💯🔥
Indian won’t let you test ride except once a year when they have demo days and the factory semi comes to your town with all the models to test ride.

My local Indian dealet lets me test ride any one of their bikes 👌
you could have just taken the bags and fairing off

She look better on Indian than Harley looks like she cramped
You looking for exhaust for the Indian?
Yes any recommendations
