What a great idea for a video. Your transformation from just a kid running to being a very tough opponent is amazing to watch. You have some tough competition it looks like. You definitely have a strong kick, and good technique. The 400 meters is calling. Keep going!!! Great job!
aye bro you look good man. Im coming from a similar experience as you. I ran 23.93 in my first meet last year and I ended that season with a 23.44 pr. Now this season I opened up with a 23.05 and now currently my pr is 22.60 which I ran in -2.0 wind. I ran that pr last week on friday. Hoping to get down to 21 before season ends. Keep up the good work bud. hoping to see you in a meet when I come over. (Im from the Bahamas.)
Running in balance with other exercise will see one fit into their seventies. Train with a faster runner on occasion. I enjoyed watching your progress. Good work!
@@AdamPlanetaryI also injured myself a week ago, which cost me my track meet, which was the day after my injury. 😢 But good thing I have spring break right now, to heal. Also I strained my hammy, I don’t think it was intense tho, just like very mild, but I can’t run for a while now.
Good video. This puts into perspective how the top world-class middle distance and long distance runners are practically super human. I watched the World Indoor Track Championships a couple weeks ago and the winner of the “metric” mile (1,500 meters) ran the last 200 of the race in about 25 seconds.
Great videos and great improvement. I started track and field at 24 years old . Started the 200 m with a result of 26 sec to 22.10 But i focused on 400 m and 800 m races . best times 400 m 48.24 800 m 1.51.23

hello! i'm from s.korea! You're a really good motivation. I'm also practicing 200m but I can't break through 25 seconds. The 100m run to 12.3 seconds. My goal is to run 200m up to 23 seconds, can I get the 3 most important tips? In track schedules, fitness exercises!
Im glad I could motivate you in your journey. As for the three tips I would say sprint fast often at 95% or higher, eat enough protein to aid in repairing the muscles that you train, and sleep enough hours to recover about 8-10 hours. These tips are simple but can take you a long way.
I ran some alright college times besides the injuries, let me know if you want some advice and i may have some of my old off-season and in season workouts still. As well as gym.
Hey love the inspiration just wanted to know do you run on your forefoot all the race or just the start and if so can make a video teaching how to maintain it
You’re talking about on dorsiflexion and landing on the ball of the foot. On my last video “how to improve your Top speed” I talked about proper technique and how to improve it.
I believe so because your first race will probably be your worst race because you’re starting, now add on training and everything, the time should drop
@@AdamPlanetarygoing from 25 to 22 is extremely impressive for only running for 2years!! Would’ve loved to have had you on my 4x1 relay team when I was in high school

@@AdamPlanetary You gotta update us this season! Looking great btw, hoping to finally break 23 myself this season.
You can definitely do it, I’ll make sure to update soon
This my friends is what hard work and consistency can accomplish :)
I am a track coach I have been coaching for a number of years. I love to see this. Great improvement!!
Thank you

Nice man I haven’t competed in the 200 meters this season yet. My goal is to drop from 22 as well.
@hbkleeny that’s cap
Excellent bro. Keep grinding and stay motivated.
Good job man, this is how I’m trying to be this year…. UNSTOPPABLE
Keep it up! Seems like you are in shape. I’ll incorporate a lot more fly 30-50s for speed

Nice bro . Great success keep going 🎉
Awesome man, you want me want to go train right now, but these injuries won’t leave me alone 😢
You have to be patient, slowly reintroduce training. And then you’ll be back stronger

I too was out for a while. 2 months. Train your upper body and let your injuries heal. The day you return to the track will feel amazing.

Gratulations on your massive improvement. Hope i se you getting even better.
whats the name of the app you used to track your times?
I’ve run at tropical park and img before aswell
I went from 1:07 400 in 7th grade to a 52 in 8th grade! But my freshman year isn’t going so well right now, I’m getting 53s
Keep working hard bro. Don’t beat yourself up over the fact that progression isn’t linear. Keep training hard and the progress will arrive.

2020-2023
Awesome job! How old are you
Nice
Over how many years??
Awesome job lad! Do you know how to avoid and fix hip flexors injuries when sprinting?
strengthen them like any other muscle, look up hip flexor exercises, heating before practice and foam rolling helped me a lot too
👍

do you think it’s possible for someone who is just starting to lose a entire second off there 100m dash time in 1 year?
I believe so because your first race will probably be your worst race because you’re starting, now add on training and everything, the time should drop
Don’t limit yourself to a year. You’re capable of so much more
Reason behind this Transformation??
To improve his top Speed bro
@@thabisotete8974 i am asking how it transformed
wow that's approx 2 seconds of your 100m.
Have you tried doing a 200 after a 100?
What type of trainings were you doing?
Top speed, acceleration, speed endurance, and athletic gym workouts.
*My PB is 26.68 )) now I can 37.5 )))*

Based on 22.97 I'd say 11.48-11.50 seconds
11.33
22.3 as a freshman solid ik it aint like crazy or nun but?
bro i am 17 years old , i currently run a 200m in 26.00 give some work out tips please

I'm 14 and I ran 24.51
Do u have an indoor PB ?
I'm in 23.36 indoor😁
Never ran indoor but I’m very interested
My brother is 15 and you win
My best time was 22.55 -2.8m/s in high school.
They always make you run into some crazy headwinds in high school meets lol. I once ran into -4.0
Here in Jamaica a 15 year old is running 21.35😭

Was this all in 1 season?
No it’s from 2020 to 2023 from my sophomore to senior year
