Jimmy page is one of the most captivating soloist the rock world has ever known. Daring, spontaneous, melodic, bluesy, diverse, flashy, breathtaking, and yes sloppy . That's the best part , the sloppiness , the ability to play with heart and feeling , the master at improvising . Who said that rock n roll had to be played perfect . Page may occasionally crash and burn, the next moment he's soaring to unprecedented heights. Yes, that's why he's my favorite guitar player of all time. Long live ZEPPELIN , GO PAGE 🎸
Right out of the gate, these guys were at their peak playing ability. They never sounded better than they did right here. They may have created better music later on, but this was the time to see them live.
I went to see Zeppelin in Philadelphia in 1969, the show included Johnny Winter, Buddy Guy, Jethro Tull and Al Kooper. I got front row seats at the door for $6.50. You can't even buy a beer for $6.50 these days.
This always was and still is my Favorite L.Z. album...The genius in Page to self produce this mixture of raw vocals and pounding drums ,with his and Jonsey's already refined expertise...set the world on fire...I don't care who they borrowed from...or "stole"...Zep 1 became all theirs...Stardom was an absolute certainty...Their 10 year reign was unmatched by ANYBODY
Led Zeppelin performed their first public concert at all in Denmark as ‘The New Yeardbirds’ on 7 September 1968 in Gladsaxe Teen Club near Copenhagen - the group was only one week old, and they rehearsed (Yeardbird songs?) all afternoon. Before the concert the organizers were a bit disappointed that it was not the original Yeardbirds, but only Jimmy Page with a new band. After the concert they were not disappointed at all. Next time Led Zeppelin came to Denmark, as you can see, they still had to introduce them selves, because the first LP was not out in Europe yet. I remember seeing this on Danish Television back then. For years I thought the recording was lost. Fortunately it wasn't.
Let’s remember Plant is only 20 yrs old here. What a f**king voice. When God is singing a song up in heaven he sounds EXACTLY like Robert Plant did/does.
Could be found on Danish radio home page for some years. The take is made in Copenhagen. A miss Zeppelin forbid Them to performe under that name .. so They have to chance for a day🤖
If we could have somehow preserved Robert's voice for the entirety of his career...man...can you imagine him singing "Achilles Last Stand" with this voice?
@@Deebz270 Led Zeppelin is one of my all time favorite bands, but Jimmy is 100% correct. As time passed, Plant wrote studio vocal checks that his live voice couldn’t cash.
12 minutes of absolute gold. John Paul Jones and Bonham in the back with that Groove, I still say Jimmy Page sold his soul to the devil for guitar lessons, and plant with that voice , that amazing voice. This is back when musicians were musicians, and these guys were the absolute best. Unfortunately Led Zeppelin's albums were shortened commercialized versions of what they could do, but their live performances are nothing short of fucking amazing!!!

What about the shit that is happening today. Get over it. I started playing because I wanted to be Bonham. Should I pay back every cent I ever made as a drummer? Какие же они здесь все молодые! Как давно это было! Но даже сейчас, в 2024 это божественно! Как они слаженно работают! Таланты, все, как один👍 СУПЕР👍 БРАВО👋👋👋
It's funny how casual those people are about watching this without knowing they were present at something that would still matter so much 50 years later
Remember they are most probably radio workers and their friends since this is a radio recording - they can not make noise, and concentrating on the music.
There can only be one word to describe Led Zeppelin; musicians. Everything works so perfectly, they are so well balanced. Even when Jimmy is playing his solo, it's impossible to block out and forget JPJ and Bonham. No one is overplaying or outplaying. it's like perfect harmony exists between them, you can individually hear each members talent.
My first album . Mom went to the record store and bought me Led Zeppelin 1 and the Beatles greatest hits . Music is so important in my life . Thanks Mom
@@alamo3955 Same. My mum bought st peppers for me and dark side of the moon just because she thought i should listen to them. She never had the albums. good old mum.
They and Pink Floyd were the best bands for leaving each other space, but Zep were the kings of "dynamics", where they would all stop so you could really hear the solo (You Know You Shook Me), or two would "punch" the same note.
This is my favorite live and studio version of this song, it encapsulates the power, intensity, speed, range, vibrancy and just sheer awe-inspiring explosiveness that Led Zeppelin can muster in one song... musical perfectionists.
+CARPE DIEM - thats how all these late 60s english rock bands were Musical Perfectionist NOT LIKE Gaga and Aguilera of saying " You look pretty and Im pretty, lets go make music" ...Oh hee-hee...give me a break. Perfectors you said it.
+Francisco Almeida I think his point was that not just rock n roll but 'good' music in general was in the mainstream or popular in 60's whereas now there's an overwhelming popularity of vapid music
+CARPE DIEM I definetely agree that mainstream music back them had a better quality, but he is saying all bands back then were like that which is not true.
John Bonham and John Paul Jones' tightness during the violin bow solo is just outstanding. That is quite possible the best rhythm section chemistry I have ever heard.
That's when I saw them - 5 July 1969 1st Atlanta Pop Festival front and center stage! And THIS is how they were - and I was changed FOREVER. Of course they played this.
@@rog0622 Oh no, I never meant it to sound like JJ matches Zeppelin. Zeppelin holds a special place in my heart too. I was referring to your disappointment in music today.
+booby b why should they ? how could they ? of course this is million times of anything of today's vacuous stuff, but rock is now history, has become classic music.
Most simply, no-one does Mozart anymore so why should they do Led Zeppelin ? Music is a form of art therefore it is generated within its own time. Can't see much talent in "facebook" generation really ...
Bc Jimmy was there own producer and can do whatever the fuck he wants. Other producers want the guitarist and drummer to play perfectly every note. And face. It rock and roll is out of the popularity time lol xD I love Zeppelin but if they where from this time. They can't compete. Due to everything being technical and shit. Like no body even knows who Paul McCartney is! When he got kicked out of tygas party lol. Music is constantly changing. Rock WAS music back then bc you couldn't make a lot of beats on the computer like now. All we had then was guitars and stuff. It's just the sad truth :(
+Francisco Almeida well, all members of led zeppelin have been separately voted to be #1 in their instrument as well as zeppelin the #1 band. This was arguably the peak of their performance level, not clouded by drugs and superstardom. The kids arent going crazy. Its just 4 guys doing 4 songs in 30 minutes. Like a rocket through the atmosphere

I love how everyone is just listening, full attention. Today it be screaming with iphones out and not getting the music in your soul. You can't feel it if you don't receive it!
I can't either. Most people think The Beatles were the best group ever and to be sure Lennon & McCartney were incredible song writers but Led Zeppelin were insanely awesome muscians.

The best band EVER. They were all legends on their own. I could listen to John Paul Jones's groove on this song all day long. It doesn't get any better than this.
+joe smith - we knew what was happening, I saw them march 15 in Broendby and march 16 in Tivoli. At that time we didn't just jump up and down all the time, but listen to the music, admiring how good they were.
+joe smith People are followers most of the time. I don't think it was "appropriate" to rock out back then. As a rule, the British are really reserved. These days we are a little more able to express ourselves more freely and not fear any chastisement. That, or I'm getting old enough not to give a shit and rock out.

People like to trash Page for sloppy playing, and indeed, he was guilty as charged for plenty of that blame later on, though still an excellent player. However, here, I would take the risk to say that he is a technical virtuoso. His playing, especially during the solos, is absolutely perfect. He demonstrates speed and fluidity and hits zero bum notes. Simply amazing. Page's detractors really need to see clips like this.
for me the 70s was zeppelin/stones/sabbath/ and lastly (and imo most importantly) Pink Floyd...simply because (if you watch 1971s...live from Pompeii, Italy (Echoes, Set the controls for the heart of the sun, seamus, careful with that axe eugene) nick mason banging those drums, ham-fisted, glasses on, twirling the sticks up in the air, mid-solo, with style and doesnt miss a beat, david gilmour, no shirt on like some playboy hippie on LSD no shoes, no shirt...fender strat...with the "WALL OF SOUND" (that floyd was the first real band to use in the late 60s) some would say floyd was more innovative then the rest simply b/c they were the first REAL PROG ROCK (progressive rock) band with quote: Pink Floyd were an English rock band formed in London in 1965. They achieved international acclaim with their progressive and psychedelic music. Distinguished by their use of philosophical lyrics, sonic experimentation, extended compositions, and elaborate live shows, they are one of the most commercially successful and influential groups in popular music history. What Gilmour could do with 1 note (that most SHREDDERS couldnt do with a 8 minute metal song) HE got it, the strong emotions elicited through bending notes, the wall of sound, utilizing that Manchester Symphony (early beatnick artists & visual artists in londons underground play-clubs) I mean 1968....Live Floyd ...I have the CD (a very rare one) it gives me those chills down a spine...you can almost smell the music...it soaks through the album...bongos in the back round, echoes, the distortion, the screams from Roger Waters like a hyeena murdering its prey...a joint fixed between the bass strings....incense burning, huge wall of sound + one of the most beautiful grand pianos I've ever seen and digital recorders (basically an early SR78). utilizing that 380 degree sound technique (that they were the first to employ not The Beatles) ....I mean sure the late 70s...early 80s...they became a bloated carcass of what they once were but...man 1967 - 1977...a good 10-11-12-13 years...that early raw, sexy, scary, long extended compositions...especially ECHOES Live from Pompeii...I mean shit...that is the reason ALIENS visit earth...that music. Otherworldly, never to be replicated (its the reason Radiohead and Jonny Greenwood and R.E.M and Michael Stipe love live recordings/in-the-studio-live-performances) all because of Pink Floyds Live from Pompeii (1971) DVD/VHS live tape. the 2 links to those 2 performances are further below (most in the world have seen it) but...its just amazing...good is GOOD, zeppelin is great (I mean Zeppelin IV is one of the greatest albums ever...8 tracks, not 1 single bad track...and the close When The Levee Breaks...is like warrior orcs on their way to battle in a huge field overlooking some mythical forest) lol...Plants voice in the end is amazing....and while I love watching Sabbath and The Doors, and Hendrix, and Cream and (all the rest) jam out during this era (the 1967-era onwards) to mid 70s many would say was the best period of rock n roll (followed by early 80s in the gothic sub-culture with The Cure and bands pushing the limits) then of course the early 90s saw pacific north-west grunge destroy all that was the 80s and the excess that was "glam metal" (pyrotechnics spraying from their crotch, swinging drum-sets lol...no thank you...though I can handle some GnR.) Anyway....this live performance is (in my opinion, next to Santana live at woodstock) one of the greatest live performances ever...and inspiration for future generations....I mean floyd was on a role during those years (much like Jethro Tull, Peter Frampton, MC5, Deep Purple, Boston, early "RUSH", Neil Young, CCR, Guess Who, the end stages of The Doors, The Yardbirds / Led Zeppelin, The Animals, Moby Grape, Country Joe & the Fish, Big Brother & Holding Co...(janis), Jimi Hendrix & The Experience (& Band of Gypsys) Anything Clapton was in (John Mayalls, Blind Faith, Cream, solo), Fleetwood Mac, Aerosmith, Van Halen, AC/DC, The Ramones, The Smiths, The Cure, (later 70s of course) The Rolling Stones (which had 8 back to back albums that were all top billboard material)...IMO Some Girls and Exile on Main Street Remain their best material....but my absolute favorite album from the mid to late 60s, onward to mid to late 70s....that 10-12 year period...was (without question) Pink Floyd - Animals (1977) then of course The Wall (1979) ....I mean before that was Wish You Were Here (1975) and Dark Side of the Moon (1973) (and the albums before that) Meddle, Obscured By Clouds, Atom Heart Mother, Ummagumma, Soundtrack for: More/Zabriskie Point, Saucerful of Secrets, all the way back to (1967) The Piper at the Gates of Dawn (even Kurt Cobain who once crossed Floyds name out and replaced it with Black Flag on a bench in Washington state) had to admit "yea...if you listen to Piper....you hear basically the future, they were ahead of their time simply put". Hell even 1983's (The Final Cut) and (a decade later) 1994's (The Division Bell had some amazing material)....a band that over 30, 35, 40 years (4 decades) put out 15 major studio albums...with 9 of them being entered into the RIAA (Recording Industry) in terms of certified units sold (35x platinum, etc) 250 million records sold worldwide putting floyd in the top 5 of (all time greatest selling musical artists in all of recorded music history alongside the beatles, michael jackson, the eagles, garth brooks, rolling stones, whitney houston, madonna, and a few others). Not that sales mean GREATNESS but in this sense, the sales, the acclaim, the experimentation, the early years, the decades n decades of turmultous lifestyles...deaths, arguments, break-ups...drama and wealth getting to the band members, disease & death...recovery & new tunes...nearly half a century (pink floyd 1965 - 1994, 2012 - 2015) even their last album The Endless River (which admittedly only 2 of the original members worked on new material...and they used some cuts from the 80s/90s to add ...so it was more of a B-sides/compilation disc) ...still 16 studio albums, 40+ years total....thousands of live shows....hundreds of millions of records...they blurred the lines of genres (shoegaze, dreampop, theatre, krautrock, jazz, experimental, fusion, progressive, early london pop/folk) and of course their sonic experimentation, elaborate live shows, and light shows. ...and that wall of speakers...that wall of sound (even the grateful dead didnt do it quite as big) But it all comes down to (IMO even with over 200 original songs recorded in the 1960s, 70s, and 80s) their best is & always will be "Echoes" the 23 minute masterpiece that (when done live in the right settings)...is literally a homing device for UFO's LOL. like my buddy says the other bands are just "great" (and thats quite an accomplishment, influental, great, all of that) but... floyd is ...next level, words cant comprehend LOL (and I agree) you just get imagery that you dont with most bands...an eagle, a huge field...literally (no pun intended) but a Saucerful of Secrets, a fat cow...alans psychedelic breakfast....that guy with the axe...careful eugene, mental illness, lsd, and otherwordly solos and screaming bass-players, and stoned drummers flipping sticks, and looking like he came from mary shelleys frankenstein lol They used to have a FULL HD version of the live performance on here (youtube) but the best source I can get it from is that website "VIMEO" its basically a crappier version of youtube. heres the link (its legit): just the 1 song, not the entire 2 day, 17 track performance. vimeo.com/191521748 and this second link is (from youtube) and its a (rather rough picture) of "careful with that axe eugene" a bit shorter in length...heres the link: ua-cam.com/video/tMpGdG27K9o/v-deo.html
that stuff (those links ^) give me the chills, its "atmosphere music" not just great guitar playing theres great guitar players, t hen theres floyd with....something...else, that "extra" thing...you know a cornfield...alone...a sky scrape....chills down your spine...long stretched notes....gilmour man....underrated if you ask me
and yea i love sabbath too (their third album masters of reality...to me is the most underrated, and really the first sludge/stoner metal album) :) enjoy and i agree w/ what you said about page 100%
So true, I was thinking the same as the camera occasionally showed the kids in the studio--they had no idea of the phenomenon erupting in front of them.

Right from the start Page & Plant had synchronicity together. Page would hit a note Plant would mimic it back and forth. In this video Zeppelin still has that beginning band humility.
Who are the 66 jagoffs that don't like this??? They obviously aren't Zep fans, so wonder why they bother to watch the video then cast thumbs down...jagoffs!
I agree when I am watching this early 2019 there are 333 thumb downs what are they even doing. Watching this as they simply dont like led Zeppelin what moron's
Can You Just Imagine what it must have been like to watch Led Zeppelin live without someone or two or three jumping around yelling screaming filming(cell phone) carrying on , talking. None of that! Just Polite people keeping quiet and enjoying the show! Most of them are probably stoned and don't give a damn about what someone on youtub e(what's that?) is going to think! LOL!
Led zeppelin the greatest rock band ever....and you got 69 people giving a thumbs down if yah don't like the performance then leave this link that was one of the dopest live performances ever....damn.
It is unlikely that such a specifically talented group of individuals will assemble and reach such great heights as Led Zeppelin did. They must now be celebrated.
Yes. I didn't get to see them live (Stones I managed), but having gone through their archive over and again, there is no doubt left: Zeppelin was greatest. For the decade that it lasted - probably the freest decade humanity ever experienced, and ever will experience.
yeah, maybe, Pink Floyd and Rolling Stones are pretty good too.If Black Sabbath was considered rock and roll, I would have to disagree with you. Cheers to your obvious good taste in music brother.
Oh Goddddd the Hair!!!!! It's almost got a life of its own. Plant 20??!!!!!! I've seen Zep 3 times in my life so yeah, I'm old, 62. Bonham on drums, just as it should be. Some of the best times of my life. Wish I could have paid more attention and gone to more shows but I was just a very young teen. I wasn't even supposed to go the other times when I did. My cousin who, thank God, prayed at the altar of Zeppelin and bought me my tickets cause I had no money back then, just 16 or fifteen I believe. Cousin had a job he was 18. Thanks Richie. Miss you too. Led Zeppelin forever in my heart. Best days of my life.
All I can say when I see stuff like this is Oh My God. Young men playing music like seasoned old men. All playing at their best. I still don't understand how the audience in these old shows could manage to stay still. Only at the end do they start to realize that they've just been hit by the hammer of the gods and start to move to the music. Amazing footage.
I saw them in Madison Square Garden in 69 or 70. The whole concert were the songs from their first 2 albums which happen to be my favorite. LZ 1 is my favorite of theirs. Great as they are no one can touch the Beatles.
This song is underrated. It describes how many men are treated by women who want rings, pearls etc. but are not able to return the feelings the men offer for them. I am very happy for this performance because it presents the feelings of many men who are lost in their love and are treated harshly by their beloved women!; I am also experiencing such a phase in my life at this moment, but what can you do if you are lost in a women´s trap? It sometimes hurts to the extreme! Led Zeppelin is the only band which describes love-relations like they are. Thank you! This song gives me the spirit for another try to catch my "soul-mate´s" heart - I am not really sure if she is my soul-mate but I hope so! How many more times??? Yes, how many more times? Rielle, please surrender! It is only for your best fortune! I may look like a stubborn guy to you, but that is only the surface! Please go deeper!!! This performance is like an early sign of how Led Zeppelin would rock the 70tees!!! Page, Plant, Jones and not least Bonham are genius from the beginning; like dynamit!!! Mr. Jones plays genuine bass-lines, That is the reason why no other band comes close.
I had the honor of being backstage for their last concert as Led Zeppelin. First concert I'd ever been to totally straight, and left so high I couldn't come down for days. Meeting Page was surreal.
Oh man...i wish i was born before this time , so i could see all these things happening ... zeppelin , sabbath , woodstock , hippies..oh..i would be a fcking hippie for sure man...
What makes me smile is the audience had no idea. No fucking clue what they were witnessing. BEST BAND EVEEEER

12 minutes of absolute gold. John Paul Jones and Bonham in the back with that Groove, I still say Jimmy Page sold his soul to the devil for guitar lessons, and plant with that voice , that amazing voice. There can only be one word to describe Led Zeppelin; musicians. Everything works so perfectly, they are so well balanced. No one is overplaying or outplaying. it's like perfect harmony exists between them, you can individually hear each members talent.

Page's detractors really need to see clips like this.
for me the 70s was zeppelin/stones/sabbath/ and lastly (and imo most importantly) Pink Floyd...simply because (if you watch 1971s...live from Pompeii, Italy (Echoes, Set the controls for the heart of the sun, seamus, careful with that axe eugene) nick mason banging those drums, ham-fisted, glasses on, twirling the sticks up in the air, mid-solo, with style and doesnt miss a beat, david gilmour, no shirt on like some playboy hippie on LSD no shoes, no shirt...fender strat...with the "WALL OF SOUND" (that floyd was the first real band to use in the late 60s) some would say floyd was more innovative then the rest simply b/c they were the first REAL PROG ROCK (progressive rock) band with quote:
Pink Floyd were an English rock band formed in London in 1965.
Otherworldly, never to be replicated (its the reason Radiohead and Jonny Greenwood and R.E.M and Michael Stipe love live recordings/in-the-studio-live-performances) all because of Pink Floyds Live from Pompeii (1971) DVD/VHS live tape.
the 2 links to those 2 performances are further below (most in the world have seen it) but...its just amazing...good is GOOD, zeppelin is great (I mean Zeppelin IV is one of the greatest albums ever...8 tracks, not 1 single bad track...and the close When The Levee Breaks...is like warrior orcs on their way to battle in a huge field overlooking some mythical forest) lol...Plants voice in the end is amazing....and while I love watching Sabbath and The Doors, and Hendrix, and Cream and (all the rest) jam out during this era (the 1967-era onwards) to mid 70s many would say was the best period of rock n roll (followed by early 80s in the gothic sub-culture with The Cure and bands pushing the limits) then of course the early 90s saw pacific north-west grunge destroy all that was the 80s and the excess that was "glam metal" (pyrotechnics spraying from their crotch, swinging drum-sets lol...no thank you...though I can handle some GnR.)
Anyway....this live performance is (in my opinion, next to Santana live at woodstock) one of the greatest live performances ever...and inspiration for future generations....I mean floyd was on a role during those years (much like Jethro Tull, Peter Frampton, MC5, Deep Purple, Boston, early "RUSH", Neil Young, CCR, Guess Who, the end stages of The Doors, The Yardbirds / Led Zeppelin, The Animals, Moby Grape, Country Joe & the Fish, Big Brother & Holding Co...(janis), Jimi Hendrix & The Experience (& Band of Gypsys) Anything Clapton was in (John Mayalls, Blind Faith, Cream, solo), Fleetwood Mac, Aerosmith, Van Halen, AC/DC, The Ramones, The Smiths, The Cure, (later 70s of course) The Rolling Stones (which had 8 back to back albums that were all top billboard material)...IMO Some Girls and Exile on Main Street Remain their best material....but my absolute favorite album from the mid to late 60s, onward to mid to late 70s....that 10-12 year period...was (without question) Pink Floyd - Animals (1977) then of course The Wall (1979) ....I mean before that was Wish You Were Here (1975) and Dark Side of the Moon (1973) (and the albums before that) Meddle, Obscured By Clouds, Atom Heart Mother, Ummagumma, Soundtrack for: More/Zabriskie Point, Saucerful of Secrets, all the way back to (1967) The Piper at the Gates of Dawn (even Kurt Cobain who once crossed Floyds name out and replaced it with Black Flag on a bench in Washington state) had to admit "yea...if you listen to Piper....you hear basically the future, they were ahead of their time simply put".
Not that sales mean GREATNESS but in this sense, the sales, the acclaim, the experimentation, the early years, the decades n decades of turmultous lifestyles...deaths, arguments, break-ups...drama and wealth getting to the band members, disease & death...recovery & new tunes...nearly half a century (pink floyd 1965 - 1994, 2012 - 2015) even their last album The Endless River (which admittedly only 2 of the original members worked on new material...and they used some cuts from the 80s/90s to add ...so it was more of a B-sides/compilation disc) ...still 16 studio albums, 40+ years total....thousands of live shows....hundreds of millions of records...they blurred the lines of genres (shoegaze, dreampop, theatre, krautrock, jazz, experimental, fusion, progressive, early london pop/folk) and of course their sonic experimentation, elaborate live shows, and light shows. ...and that wall of speakers...that wall of sound (even the grateful dead didnt do it quite as big)
But it all comes down to (IMO even with over 200 original songs recorded in the 1960s, 70s, and 80s) their best is & always will be "Echoes" the 23 minute masterpiece that (when done live in the right settings)...is literally a homing device for UFO's LOL.
like my buddy says the other bands are just "great" (and thats quite an accomplishment, influental, great, all of that) but...
floyd is ...next level, words cant comprehend LOL (and I agree) you just get imagery that you dont with most bands...an eagle, a huge field...literally (no pun intended) but a Saucerful of Secrets, a fat cow...alans psychedelic breakfast....that guy with the axe...careful eugene, mental illness, lsd, and otherwordly solos and screaming bass-players, and stoned drummers flipping sticks, and looking like he came from mary shelleys frankenstein lol
They used to have a FULL HD version of the live performance on here (youtube) but the best source I can get it from is that website "VIMEO" its basically a crappier version of youtube.

that stuff (those links ^) give me the chills, its "atmosphere music" not just great guitar playing
theres great guitar players, t hen theres floyd with....something...else, that "extra" thing...you know a cornfield...alone...a sky scrape....chills down your spine...long stretched notes....gilmour man....underrated if you ask me

still the best rock n roll band of all-time 2019
Best drummer and guitar player ever......

@@mybedcavour8104 keith Moon also!
yeah, maybe, Pink Floyd and Rolling Stones are pretty good too.If Black Sabbath was considered rock and roll, I would have to disagree with you. Cheers to your obvious good taste in music brother.
Oh yeah and theres that other good band whats their name again? ohh yeahhh The Beatles.
Best days of my life.
plants voice sooo good
Mark christmas
Upon this voice, they shall build their band, Amen.
it really was...so strong too
Plant KNEW when...where..how...to place every music note!!! His range was his instrument!!! 50 years later...Holy FUCK!!!! 💍💍💍's 📿📿📿's an ALL!!!
man, these concerts were unreal, you could rest your sole on stage...long live LED ZEPPELIN.
Really? What is its rating and where should it be rated?
A coming together of four dynamic talents - this performance highlights why they were top innovators of their era and still remain influential today.
Sometimes I just sit here thinkin... How is that even possible?
I had the honor of being backstage for their last concert as Led Zeppelin. First concert I'd ever been to totally straight, and left so high I couldn't come down for days. Meeting Page was surreal.
Stoned and watching doc “Song Remains the Same” at the Midnight movie theatre…Great times!❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Put this in context - 1969 ! The year that turned the musical world on its ed.
Magic fingers, grand sorcerer of the magic guitar - Mr. Jimmy Page !!!
I have the "Yardbirds Live" album where Kieth Relf spoke those true words !
I really like this comment
James Campbell - funny you mentioned that...cause Page is an occultist.
Oh man...i wish i was born before this time , so i could see all these things happening ... zeppelin , sabbath , woodstock , hippies..oh..i would be a fcking hippie for sure man...
The bass is what makes this song great.
I think this is their best tune. Also in it's best version. Better than the album version I noticed.
Zep is so good live!!!! Why???
IMHO the album version was much more polished
I saw them in 1968 for 4 bucks. The opening act was and unknown band, JETHRO TULL.
Thank god for the internet! Used to have this on video, I recorded it off the TV in 1989 I think and with dvd it was long lost
