At this point and basically since the moment they formed, these guys were by far the most talented band on the planet. They just hadn’t written that many songs yet
i found a bootleg in Italy many years ago, late 70's/early 80's and this tune was the 1st time I'd heard Zeppelin play it - back then boots were not the Holy Grail they are now and nobody but the craziest LED ZEP fan(s) cared... I still have it somewhere in album form, however, I found a CD version of the whole show/or maybe it was a compilation in a record industry magazine that had Jimmy on the cover, it was a newspaper style publication. I still have it and now everyone wants to borrow/hear it... NO WAY, Jose. Just listen to this masterpiece and then tell me this was not the greatest Rock band ever? PEACE
@@billhorstkamp98 Amazing that Zeppelin had nowhere to go but down after their debut, yet still came up w/ album after album of great music... can't think of any other band that changed so much record to record and never looked back-just got greater and greater. WELCOME TO THE MAGIC THAT IS LED ZEPPELIN. Peace.
@@bishlap I’ve been a fan since the first album I was four years old when it came out and my big brother got it. I remember dancing to good Times bad Times as a little guy. I agree with everything you said. They just kept topping them self and changing and evolving. It wasn’t album to album ,Hell it was song to song! Keep rocking TJ❤️☮️🌎
The 2nd album of any band is always the tell-tale record if they're going to "make it" or not.. LZ-2 was such a masterpiece it seemed inconceivable that Zeppelin could ever follow up not just 1 great album, but 2!!! Umm, I do believe The Zeppelin accomplished "that".
Masterpiece of a Performance! Heaven speaks through Led Zeppelin's Music. Quite possibly one of the most exciting and energetic examples of Rock and Roll Purity. This is Truly Epic and drenched in Creativity and Talent. The brilliance pours out eternally !
I have some older friends who saw them in San Francisco 3 months prior to this. They got to see them three times up close and personal! It would be eight more years before I saw them in Oakland, July 24th 1977. Unfortunately it was their last American concert…
It’s been said that Bill Graham recorded these Fillmore shows - hence their soundboard clarity. I’d have loved to have seen his initial reaction to hearing them, live or LZ1 for the first time. Intuitively he just KNEW this was going be a monstrous act in which no one could ever follow. The gig three nights prior to this show, on the 24th, the bass amp craps out during this song. It’s interesting to hear that while (likely Kenny Pickett) was scurrying to find the backup amp, how Robert scats along and keeps the audience somewhat entertained. Very professional. Lastly, at 8:49 here, Jimmy breaks into what was used to bring the Boogie Chillun’ guitar solo to a close and as cue for Robert to begin the WOMAN! part at the end Whole Lotta Love, live.
knowing Bill Graham and his love of money - he'd save/do anything for a buck no matter what he thought of any particular band. He(supposedly) did not like the Zeppelin. Love to see what he's got in his vault, only Jimmy's vault is more valuable.

I can't even describe how this feels like to listen for the first time.
neither can WE (first time NOW as we speak)
Orgasmic?...Idk just speaking for myself here.
Right on everyone! Welcome aboard the mothership. The energy of these early shows are absolutely brilliant.

Further proof of why Keith Richards is jealous of them.
And Pete Townshend
These early Zeppelin shows sound incredible. No wonder they set the world on fire.
One of their best lost medleys from the early days. Pretty good quality, thanks for posting.
What I think is Pages greatest attribute on the guitar is his attitude he can project. All the feelings he can emote.
Какая мощь и сумасшедшая энергетика!
Holy smoke
7:25 mind-blowing , all the angels of Avalon came to see , and they whispered ...hey what's going on
Phenomenal.........no other word can describe such superb music.
Just when you thought Zeppelin could not get any greater....

Their music moved mountains. Long Live The Mighty Zep!

WOW THE ZEP IN FLIGHT!!
What a ripper ☮🕊
My favorite song from their ‘69 set, besides dazed and confused
I love the 1969 HMMT versions and ALAIHYs, because they are so unique every time and a Whole Lotta Jams!!!
Just found this.. AWESOME ⭐️🎸🎶
Yes!!! Zeppelin Rules!! xxxx
Best LZ medley!
Never heard before, after so many years. Thanks!! Real Zeppelin style!!🤩💓
I wonder, why Jimmy Page hasn't yet put out a live compilation of Zep's none-recorded covers? For example here the band is at it's very best!

At the Oakland show also. Some people say it was disappointing. I thought it was spectacular.
@@billhorstkamp98 -Check out Led Zeppelin Boots, he has that show and many more online!
Honestly, 4/25 ALAIHY might be better than 4/27's if we had it in full

This is the reason why the stones and the who are jealous, they couldn't compare to zeppelin!
