- We recently launched the MDT ACC Elite Chassis System and we can’t stop raving about it! It’s our most feature rich product yet and there’s a lot to talk about, so we put together a video with Josh Botha, the engineer behind it, where he goes over every little detail.

▬ About MDT ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬
MDT was born out of a single purpose: to provide better value and better accuracy for precision rifles. The first MDT chassis was developed from the ground up based on the needs of shooters.
Our engineers verified every function and feature based on the input from competitive shooters. The end result was a game-changing product called the TAC21 that continues to perform at the range, in the field and in competitions around the world.
Today, MDT chassis, magazines and accessories are still developed the same way.
We collaborate, question and verify our concepts with precision shooters from around the globe to ensure that every MDT product is designed with the same single purpose: to provide our customers with the absolute best product possible.
That may be the most well thought out, and adaptable chasis I've ever seen. Very impressive.
My old man had an MDT Will definitely switch over this year !
The machining on these are top notch 👌
We only make the best
Left hand coming in the future?
Been rocking the lefty for a few months. Man, that thing is great.
Can you guys do a Premier vs Elite comparison?
As soon as you get a Savage SA in, I'll buy it for sure!
Interesting developments over the previous ACC chassis.
The rigidity improvements, thumb shelf, mag catch adjustment and Arca rail changes are excellent.
A pity about no lateral adjustment for the cheek riser though.
How is the balance of the chassis? I have found the previous ACC to be quite butt heavy, does this move the weight further forward?
This can still vary depending on the action and barrel for the balance point, but the chassis is heavier and the buttstock features more aluminum components to find the best balance point.
I have a remington 40x with a heavy duty thick recoil lug would that be a problem with this chassis
where/when can we get the rubber dampers? i dont see them on canadian or us site
just placed the order for this chassis hope its worth it over the ACC premier, dont make me regret this dcision mdt. Also i hope the cheek riser will not get in the way of my cleaning rod like the one on KRG xray
Great looking chassis! Maybe I'll upgrade this year.
Well Done! Is the adjustable mag catch available for the ACC Premier? I own 2 ACC Premier chassis and it would be nice to update!
I also would like one, I have a b14r mag that needs to be just slightly lower.
I was about to ask the same question
Unfortunately they aren't backwards compatible. Sorry!
Are there any custom recoil pads, or 3rd party ones that exist?
Looks fantastic. Can't get rid of my premier though. Guess I'll have to start saving for a second rifle.
Oh p.s. i think I'll buy your ESS chasse next time
I could not find the Thumb rest on the web page? My Chassis has the framed thumb rest but its a great idea on the fore end for a good solid hold.
At this time, we do not have it available as a separate purchase, however, we may look at it in the future.
Does the connector bar work on the FXDRS pro version of the chassis?
Yes it does!
This reminds me of a stock maker's adjustable jig for fitting stocks to their customers
Will this be available for a CZ 457??
Just saw a mdt magzine on sss defence saber .338 lapua magnum, in their video , so came here to see 😁
When will you offer the Elite chassis in more color options?
This is exactly what I’m looking for.. but i need it in a Wolf Grey or similar color..
No exact timeline right now, but closer to the end of the year likely.
Went to the website and didn't see the option for savage action. Will you guy make one for it? Saw only for the 700 remington
We will likely do a Savage version, but we don't have an ETA at this time.
Any documentation on what actions this has been tested with?
Availability for the Tikka T3 in the near future?
This is a very strong possibility for next year but no eta at the moment. Please make sure you are signed up with our newsletter to receive updates and new product launches :)
When you making this chassis for LEFT handers? Tikka SA action??? Show us some love!!!!
We are looking at before spring for the left-hand chassis systems to start dropping. Make sure you are signed up for the newsletter to be kept up to date with all future launches.
@@MDTTAC Absolutely. You guys make some of the best gear around...for right handers lol. Would love to rock your guys gear!
Is it going to be available in left hand?
I'm going to have to stop watching your video's, they just make me so jealous of those that live in places where having these types of things and places to shoot them are abundant. 😭😭😭😭😭😭 Looks like another spot on product 👍👍👍👍👍
Love the chassis, hate the screw holes on the grip.
What length is the barrel sitting in this chassis?
It is a 26" barrel.
@@MDTTAC Perfect, thank you. I ordered this chassis and I was thinking about getting a 26" barrel so this shows me exactly what it will look like!
Can the chassis be equipped with a canted grip?
Thank you for sharing
Is the buttstock foldable ? If no which of your chassis has an foldable buttstock
i see this and can't help but think it looks like krg whiskey 3 chassis they had such unique and orginal designs to before this...hmmm
What are the similarities?
Still no option for left handed CZ 457?
Not at this time, but take a few moments and leave us a request through here! mdttac.com/product-request/
Excellent
Awesome but what would be fantastic is if you could ship the stock I ordered a month ago.
We are working hard to get all orders full filled. Have you been able to reach out to our customer support team for an eta?
@@MDTTAC yes it kinda keeps moving up 1-2 weeks every time I've been in contact. 1 month plus seems to be a bit excessive not counting the actual shipping time once it is shipped. Might I suggest hiring some temp employees next holiday season to help out for a few weeks.
Do any of your customers ask for raw aluminum or unpainted chassis. have you guys ever considered offering raw aluminum chassis. option to remove the finish off the chassis .i kind of wanna Bling bling .Also what about Anodized for some of your chasse options. Could you imagine a camo Anodized chassis. 😳 what. Or a red Anodized
We don't offer any products unfinished for sale as they would not look good at all. But custom anodizing is something you could have done locally.
When the LA version coming?
No ETA this time, but stay tuned!
@@MDTTAC what about now,any estimate date?
@@luiss3736 We still do not have an exact date for the long action but we are working on it!
I've got your MDT LSS CHASSE ON MY 338LAPUA MAGNUM IT CAME WITH THE GUN AS A TOTAL SET UP, I'VE GOT TO GET YOUR ADDRESS AND PHONE NUMBER SO I CAN ORDER YOUR CHASSE FOR MY NEXT LONG RANGE RIFEL. I WON'T SHOOT A RIFEL WITH OUT YOUR CHSSES THERE THE BEST I'VE FOUND!!
We are very happy to hear you are enjoying the chassis! You can purchase directly on our website www.mdttac.com 🙂
wow 😮 ✨🫶🏻✨

I hate the bar on bottom if buttstock.
I love my ACC C h assis
You don't actually need to run it, but you have the option if you want to.
Превосходное шасси, привет из России)))
Yea the more I look at this the more it looks like a whiskey 3

Folding stock is the key to 100% perfection... Without it, it is not so much interesting.
Do you shoot many PRS type matches?
@@drewroehm3292 I like that stock as it is, it makes any rifle better, but I would prefer if it had folding capability as well.
@@drewroehm3292 I shoot with a folder in prs matches. Best shit ever when you have to hike your gear.
Ondricka Ferry
Id get a lower profile mount and adjust your weld to your confortability, was always told you want your scope as close to the barrel without touching the only exception i could see is on an an ar or ak
Koch Orchard
No folding stock is a deal breaker for me. I'll stick with my ACC.

The nuts on the screws that hold on the vertical grip are sided by plastic allowing the nuts to turn if you try to torque the screws down enough to stop the grip from wiggling. BAD DESIGN.
We are sorry to hear this, are they still loose or were you able to get them tightened up?
@@MDTTAC Nope, one of the nuts stripped out the plastic and it’s loose. I’ll either have to buy a new grip or epoxy what I have. Either way is unacceptable.
