- When your rifle isn’t set up properly (for you), you don’t trust your rifle. When you don’t trust your rifle, missed shots are tougher to correct for, frustration and stress kick in much quicker, your heart starts racing, and you take a big fat 0 on your stage… It’s a slippery slope.
Making sure that your rifle is set up to fit you and your shooting style is an essential part of any precision shooting sport. A rifle that’s perfectly set up for you and your shooting type will save a ton of frustration and add an enormous sense of confidence. Check out our latest video where Pro-Staff shooters Andy Slade and Ryan McLean take us through the process step-by-step, front to back.

▬ About MDT ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬
MDT was born out of a single purpose: to provide better value and better accuracy for precision rifles. The first MDT chassis was developed from the ground up based on the needs of shooters.
Our engineers verified every function and feature based on the input from competitive shooters. The end result was a game-changing product called the TAC21 that continues to perform at the range, in the field and in competitions around the world.
Today, MDT chassis, magazines and accessories are still developed the same way.
We collaborate, question and verify our concepts with precision shooters from around the globe to ensure that every MDT product is designed with the same single purpose: to provide our customers with the absolute best product possible. - Розваги
I'm new to shooting sports, and I've learned a ton watching MDT's videos on setup and such. It's also kind of cool to know a company a 20 minute drive away from me is a world leader in competitive shooting gear ! Good job MDT !!
Thank you for these videos.
Great content as always.
-Much love!
Very informative and useful ! Thank you for all your science.
Great content, love what you guys are doing!
Yall at MDT do great work & videos, much appreciated. I just took the dive into long range shooting this weekend, and I started off with ordering a new MDT chassis :D Can't wait.
First class. Excellent

I got the acc gen 2 on preorder with our importers I can't wait to get it and try out.
I'm loving the beard!! Giving me Marty Stouffet vibes, except, the gun version!

Hello, I never win anything.....what's the catch
The weight of the magazine and ammo will affect the balance. Would it not make sense to balance the rifle with a magazine inserted half full?
Hi what barrel is that on the rifle?
When are you going to sell those inserts for the SRS buttstock? I want a set already! 😁
They are coming soon; make sure you are signed up for our newsletter to be kept up to date with all future product launches.

I've noticed the rifle setup changes depending on what position I'm shooting. Prone, vs kneeling for instance
Yes, it does.
What is the best way to set it if you shoot from all 3 positions? Is there a happy compromise or best way to set it up?
What do I do if I don’t have a tripod and an extra person to help me?
Surprised you guys didn't mention setting the stock up for in line bore axis...
Does this matter to you guys? I find it very helpful
If it matters to you, set it up, everyone will have different ideas.
Very helpful for what?
i like ryan
Skipped right over length of pull adjustment.
You are right. To make the adjustments on the LOP is similar to the cheek riser. You will loosen all the set screws and then run the dial to change the LOP as needed, then tighten the set screws back down. We appreciate you watching and catching that.
tip nr.1 use your hands, adjusting with feet might be difficult
This guy is explaining solutions for problems he's creating
I watched this to see if there was something I could learn about length of pull, but you guys just skipped length of pull.
If you're going to let the equipment and technology do everything then why not just press a button from 4 feet away to fire the gun?
You can still have the best setup in the world and still not shoot for shit hahaha
@@prone_wolf8871 Yeah, but where's the fun in it?
@@LightofRyga well to those guys I hand them my rifle and say prove it Hahhaa....it's plenty fun for me at that point hahaha
@@LightofRyga try to connect with a 12.5 inch barrel at 800+ yards......super fun... or 22 lr at 400-1000 yards crazy fun
Tell us you've never shot PRS/long range, without telling us.
Maybe go tell the Formula 1 or Tour de France guys the same thing... "why have all that technology do everything!?!?"
