I love my Elite chassis. Rides my RimX, and I couldn't be happier. From magazines to barricades, it's my favorite chassis system I've used to date. Have to say I love those jelly inserts for the rear stock. Might have to pick some up. Yeah, I like the esthetics too😂😂
Love my mdt elite chassis for my Vudoo! I also have the gen2 premier for my RimX and almost like the gen2 a little bit better bc it's easier to balance and stay a bit lighter weight. My vudoo with 22in 1.2 barrel is 21.6lbs and RimX with 24in 1.25 barrel is 18lbs and balances out a tad further which is more forgiving on props if I'm sloppy 😂 I also added their adjustable butt pad, adjustable mag catch, and oryx thumb wheels for cheek rest making the gen2 easy to adjust and for not much more cost. Great video as usual Matt!
I have an RRS clamp with rrs-lock. I hate it for prs style matches because it doesn't allow you to use the middle position of the level and just slide your bipod around, I actually disabled it (easy to do). I haven't had any issues with their sc-arc sliding under recoil with cf. On the jellies, I think it was francis that said this, the main reason for them isn't to reduce/change the recoil profile it's to reduce vibration so your gun settles ever so slightly quicker. i.e. save a ~quarter/half second when slapping your gun on a prop.
That’s good to know. I’ve never felt the need to run something besides just a normal clamp. Honestly, that claim about the jellies sounds even more ridiculous lol
Great review! I do use the RSS holes only for centerfire when I am shooting clipped into my anvil 30. I generally prefer to be clipped in if there are large back and forth pans. I find that I have to set my RSS Anvil a little looser so they fit with all my arca clamps (i.e. leofoto or other chinese arca adapters), and this causes the chassis to slip under recoil if the RSS pins aren't engaged.
I picked up the same chassis when I saw you switched to it last year... but now I'm curious if I should move to the vanquish like you too... Will you be doing a video on the vanquish soon?
The prototype did make the barricade stop super fat, but Vision managed to make a semi slim version of the same type of adjustment with the Pro chassis Really interested in your opinion on the Vanquish. I love my acc elite but if I were to ditch it it would be for the Vanquish. Too bad they dont offer it for Tikkas
I have exactly that stock, I did not like the butt/rear stock, too heavy, so too "back-heavy". I added a carbon fibre rear/butt stock. Also, I got a custom hand/pistol grip that made to my hand

Great comments and video Matt, Answered a lot of questions were answered for me Now I know what to expect upon getting one

Thanks for sharing! I have a Premier and am contemplating an upgrade.

That chassis is beautiful.... I would love to see that up close and personal!!!!! Oh and that colour!!
😂 lucky guy might have his wish come true
Loving this series ❤
It's great, so much good info

Good to know! Obviously people use them I just really haven't seen it. I guess it's not a bad thing having it on the chassis

Eventually, yes
Great review, thanks for the info!

That's neat! I haven't looked at the Vision chassis closely yet, they seem pretty cool from what I've seen
What chassis are you going with this year, Matt?
...or is that a future video?
I'm going to MPA, I have the Vanquish now. I'll probably highlight it in a future video
Its expensive. Nice, but i wish the price was a little lower.
I've bought two "blems" during their black friday sales. At $960 each (still not cheap I know) they're very hard to beat.
@@RubiconJoey Yes, my daughters snagged one this year. Their build in on my channel as "An American Girl and her Rifle.""

Where did you get those made?
