Top job. Many years back someone I knew had a Z900 engine blasted with corn husks. It polished the casings. Not sure what else was added but this system seems very good and creates the best finish for painted coating. Clear gloss coat would look good.
Wow ... how can I clean my engine 3.0ltr V6 duratec in a mondeo st220? I'm getting parts of the engine powder coated but the rest will look dreadful. Any tips? Thanks Z650 engine looks awesome 👌
Doesn't want to answer this, I see! If I'm thinking what you're thinking then what about clear coat? Did the original engine have a clear coat or similar? Some engines do. I have a cb1300 that needs doing but I need more info...
I have to say, such an enjoyable vid, watched it a few times, its a feel good video, the before and after, made me WOW! Can i ask, the Z650 engine, how long does it take to complete in the machine? Thank you. Graeme.
Alloy parts won’t corrode any more than when new as the process seals the surface. I don’t vapour blast steel parts as they immediately start to corrode, dry blasting is usually better.
Hello, Super job! Can you tell me where I can I purchase the plugs for the intake and exhaust? I have a KZ 1000 A-1 engine I want to do. Keep up the good work and thanks.
this is definitely how not to do it ! you will blow media and water in the engine !! ever seen an engine that is completely oil free ?? they all sweat oil that means also that you will blow media in it , clutch lever axle , chainwheel axle , ignition side they all have seals that can hold the oil in , but the 2..4 bar that you use will be blown in !!! take a look at the starter motor you removed half the zinc layer and blew water in it , greetings from a colleague vapor blaster (vixen 1515)
Water will definitely get in. Ive been doing this for years but with one extra step called ball burnishing. The difference between just vapour blasting against vapour and ball burnishing is night and day. I e won some big shows and although vapour gets a clean finish , it is not good enough to win a top show. If you run compressed air through the oil filler cap at a contant pressure, you have a better chance of sgopping media getting in but not guaranteed. Good job though.
Nice videos BUT look’s like this old chap doesn’t provide any advices as he afraid of competition or he believe he is the only one that can do this job . However , he does the videos for a bit more ££ from UA-cam not to share his…”experience “ . Not worth it to subscribe 😏
Thanks for your nice comments‘George George’ you’re right it’s not an educational video just promoting the service, Ive not made any further videos for years and have never received any money for them so no need to subscribe, thanks for watching though 😊

Good to see that you do the complete engine. Ive read so many times that you must strip it first. did you lower the pressure at all ?

Hi are you saying that after a steam clean, all it takes is one process to completely restore the engine finish?
Doesn't want to answer this, I see! If I'm thinking what you're thinking then what about clear coat? Did the original engine have a clear coat or similar? Some engines do. I have a cb1300 that needs doing but I need more info...
Yes because posting industry secrets and procedures on the www is great for business !!
Steam clean to take off grease and dirt , peened to get rid of oxidation .that's it that's all . Pretty cut and dry
How many bars of water pressure is recommended to clean like shown? Thanks
Kent what size plugs did you use and where we could get them?
Thanks

How to prevent engine parts from oxidisation and corrosion. Which is the best corrosion inhibitor. What is best water soluble or aerosol spray.
Alloy parts won’t corrode any more than when new as the process seals the surface. I don’t vapour blast steel parts as they immediately start to corrode, dry blasting is usually better.
Kent,
When finished do you coat/spray the engine with anything to preserve the finish and/or prevent corrosion?
Thanks
No, not necessary as the process seals the surface

Kent can you sell me a set of plugs for intake and exhaust for a Kawasaki 77 1000A?
Can i get that soft and shiny surface on an engine that has been sandblasted with dry sand (rough)?
It will smooth it and close up the pores but depending on sand blast pressure that had been used you won’t be able to achieve that smooth a finish
Brilliant!
good day sir how do you price that job sir. thanks for the reply
Clean this way, paint it with airbrush and you are the fking master
did you use glass beads?
Yes
That looks great!
That's a great job
Very good sir. Thank you for the video.
That’s brilliant
Do you need to put a finish on it?
No Steve
Doesn't water somehow get in? Like creep in through certain areas?
My seals are secure
