    But it is 4x the price!!! I wonder why since only the 12$ nozzle seems different. Ok it is yellow powder coated.
    Also it seems that the spray patter is smaller since you almost touch with the tip.
    I keep hearing „Mike at the Tacoma Company“ advertised everywhere on here on UA-cam but they still don’t have any useful internet site after such a long time.
    I wish I could see the different models and items before I to call..

    • @HTMR
      @HTMR  5 років тому +1

      Us made vs China. Low production volume. Air jet is tapered also for smooth flow. Cheaper than increasing cfm via compressor. If I were you I'd buy one. #5 & #6 setup.

    • @bernhardlist9359

      Ok, I will see.
      But still it would be good to get a useful Internet presentation.

      I understand that but if they want to grow and give customers the feeling that they are trustworthy and not just hype, a good internetsite is important. I live in Germany and buy many things in the US over the net but I cannot be on the phone with someone for hours. Right or wrong, but if you hear from a company for some time but always see „site under construction“ ...... you think they are helpless or working out of a barn.
      A good sit is not a costfactor like TV ads. So if Mike spends so much time on the phone with everybody ...... that is expensive too. General information can be published and for special questions I email or call.
      For example, I have sent two mails asking for the price of the metering valve but alway get a sheet telling me that the super upgrade package is 460U$. At Eastwood I can check the product info and prices first without bugging anyone and then I decide if I buy it or not.
      No offense here.

      Nope. Both guns were set to CONSUME the same CFM. I have built a bunch of these guns. I can make it go much faster also by setting it up to consume more CFM. Watch this: ua-cam.com/video/1oFn034YtD0/v-deo.html

    I talked to Mike earlier this year about his guns and he gave me almost the same description as what his website says when discussing the differences between the standard and deluxe models.. no technical info, nothing..
    There is over 150 dollars difference between the cheapest model and most expensive and he wouldn't tell me why other than all the parts look the same from the outside and that the most expensive one performs better than the cheapest one..
    Honestly, if all he is doing is boring out the innards a little and putting some high flow fittings on to increase flow for maybe a few seconds of performance than I dont know if paying over 150 dollars more for tacomas best model is even worth it..
    I wouldn't be so critical if I could actually hear the technical details behind what makes each more expensive gun better but I essentially talked to Mike for a good 40 minutes and got zero info other than his product is better than anyone else's..
    Has anyone else figured out what is done to justify over 150 dollars in pricing difference?
    I definitely don't mind spending the money but I have to know if what I am paying for is worth it.. otherwise, the China gun honestly looked almost as good as the tacoma gun for 4 times cheaper..

    in the inside shape of the nozzle it is tapered large to small and creates a Venturia, this speeds up the flow just like on a carburetor.

    • @HTMR

      Yes, and it has a different entry shape to smooth out the flow.

    • @HTMR
      @HTMR  4 роки тому +1

      I'm familiar with those pink nozzles, and they are a straight bore with chamfered entry. Therefore, tacoma gun will work better.

    Thanks for the video. I am in the process of upgrading my Harbor Freight cabinet with all of the Tacoma Company upgrades. I am debating between the Standard, Standard Plus, or Deluxe gun setup. Although I want the best one, I am a hobbyist and probably don’t need the a deluxe but seeing your video helped make me more confident with going for the Standard Plus as it is still a great gun. Any one of their setups will be leaps and bounds better than what harbor freight gives you. Mike from Tacoma is a great guy and very personable and passionate about his products/upgrades. I totally recommend them.

    would a slurry tank setup work as a siphon feed for pressure washer blasting rather than just putting the hose in dry media.
