Good day sir, I just want to ask what kind of sand do you use in your sand blass, thank you sir
What are you using to heat your degreaser? Thanks.
how do you stop the glass beads blocking the tiny holes an jets
You can plug them. I just flush them out out with high pressure clean water and air
How are you hearing up the solvent?
Hey man what kind of fibre glass do you use and grit as from seeing other engine builders they use 90 psi in a dry blasting cabinet then using a low pressure in the vapour blading cabinet using a very fine fibre glass to get a chrome look but I’m on a real low budget and can get a used vapour blaster for the size is need for 1000 new from a local business
I’m not even sure what size glass bead I’m using. I can get a much more polished look if I wanted to, but most people want an OEM look.
No 13 is what most are using
Ballpark cost for single cylinder 2 stroke engine cases?
what is your hot degreaser solution?
Just simple green
Air spinning ball bearings Damages them !!.
I’m sure it can. They also get damaged just from use. They also get damaged from slightly used motor oil. In most cases, these bearings are in much better working condition than when they came in. Most of the time I find metal shavings that get stuck in the grooves due to dirty motor oil.
Thanks for the tip.
