This mod, combined with the enhanced command one you make have really turned single player DUWS into a whole other game. I like that I can easily call in air patrols if HQ detects an enemy presence, how I can run small squad operations in one area while launching a full blown high command assault in another area, and being able to load troops into Hurons and insert them into action for reinforcements has been awesome. The vanilla AI can be so frustrating to do the simplest things, like telling a truck to drive straight from point A to point B, but your hard work has made it sooo much better
Ive just found your mods. And OHHHH BOY, it breathed a whole lot of life in to my Anti Stasi, since I'm playing alone and I can now actually lead my men on more than squad

I'm not sure if I just missed it but is there a way to have only one person have access to DAO interface (Tablet thingy)? And as an added thing is it possible to have the reports from the aircraft (example: "Cleared hot") to only show up for the person who has the DAO interface enabled? Brilliant mod! ArmA 3 really is way more fun with this.
Hey Drongo - hoping you're still checking comments. I saw in another thread you mentioned a "virtual airfield object in the editor" for a situation where a map doesn't come with a pre-coded airfield. I can't find that object for love nor money - was it removed in an update, or am I just blind? If it is removed, is there a way to add an airfield? (We have an opposing op coming up, and we want to add a space for OPFOR aircraft).

Once the aircraft is airborne everything is OK but problems occur while the jets try to taxi to takeoff.. Sometimes they taxi via random paths (not via appropriate taxiway) and gets stuck in some random pieces of geometry and sometimes they crash during taxi(but very rarely).
so i've just discovered this and i hope you're still around to reply. This has to do with having the aircraft land, specifically the USAF ac-130. I give it the order to land, i pick the airstrip to land it, and it just nosedives into the ground. Am i doing something wrong?
I've heard similar reports from other users, I think the issue is in the config of that aircraft. Nothing I can do about that, I just use the default BIS land command.
@@drongomods im pretty new when it comes to working the editor. How do i use that? i try setting the landing waypoint and still get the same result. I did notice it begins to land at the waypoint, but always falls short and eats the dirt
@@drongomods no worries. I ended up figuring out that having it return to the air corridor keeps it from crashing. But yea, it's definitely the bird's configs. I looked at them and they have a ton of extra flight parameters compared to any other C-130

Hello Drongo, I really like your addon, but since I have using TPW mod too then some aircraft do some weird things. I've been tested with and without TPW and the thing happen when I launch DAO and TPW. peace
Looks like a great mod but cannot align the terminal to the 'H' button as the mod doesn't appear in the drop down menu on 'configure addons'. The mod is installed correctly and even appears on the title screen. Thanks
@@drongomods Hi, so i've only got air ops and CBA loaded. For me, It looks like its not working when using mission editor. The 'H' key dosent work and air ops isn't on the drop down menu in 'configure addons'. However it does all appear when doing it on the 'main menu' options. Any suggestions?

Hey, i downloaded your mod and i really like it, but I seem to have a problem with it : There is no Airport/Airfield Icons on the map, even if i turn on any markers (I play on Altis). So i cannot land the planes :/ If you could help me with that... Thx Sidenote: If i can suggest you, you should add a script that makes the planes follow the acces ramps and taxiways.

Not sure if you're still responding here but I'm having trouble getting planes to egress, when they finish a bomb run or something else they get a loiter checkpoint way off the map and they ignore further orders

Can make the game stutter and slog (Vcom) without faster cpu clocks, but there is nothing better with inf, it seems to have experimental aircraft ai too.

Is this mode working only for Altis or for every map? Its awesome btw, especially the "be the gunner" option.

Is there a way to call in airstrikes purely with a laser designator? I have a lot of trouble calling in a strike whenever a vehicle is moving.

Hey, im trying to use the ac130 to load men after it lands, is there way to disable the VAM?
It can be disabled through the dialog (lower right hand button) or with this code:
_aircraft setVariable["daoUseVAM",FALSE,TRUE];
ac130 works with this?

Make sure the crew of the aircraft is on the same side as the player.

They will automatically refit.

There are numerous bugs that have popped up that didn't happen in testing. I'm working on other stuff so the next patch will probably be next year.

This still happens right? The planes keep flying out of the map. I need to go into Zues and put them back occasionally.

Sorry mate, I can't understand what you mean.
How do we refuel? The planes run out of fuel, then they crash to the ground.
They can fully refit at any carrier or airfield.

IS it normal that my unit gets deleted when I try to land them? and another problem I found is that I can only do 1 run, is that intentional?
Yes, they go into Virtual Airfield Management and can be spawned again. Not sure what you mean by only 1 run.
Drongo Mods so does that mean, there is a cool down time after landing, before the unit could be used again?
