What unit/clan is this?
Honestly, these guys were all just gathered up by me on the day from like, 6 different places. However, we've since formed the most official unofficial unit - the Cadian XXth. Casual milsim, roleplay and all those weird ops that you never get to play in your normal milsim group. Find out more in the discord.

I bloody wish. Video definitely has inspiration from the likes of Soviet and Max0r, but I try to strike a nice line for telling a story, humorous edits and actual gameplay. For something like this, I don't feel the need to edit in every word said. Plus, I edited this in a day, so time constraints were another issue.

I am Fanboying to hard over here.
He said marines ... every adeptus astartes knows that this term is to simple, that is why they don't use it.
Also, there are marines in the astra militarum/imperial guard too.
They either use their callsign, chapter name or they call themselfes at least "astartes".
Also, every loyal astartes would do so if they can buy time without wasting their lifes. Only salamanders would propably even die for this.
Its a decition to save resources to make it possible for guardsmen to retreat, so they can fight again later.

@@ArgelTal_ Not every loyalist astertes would do that. Maybe not even most of them. Some, like the Marines Malevolent chapter, actively dislike the normal civilian humans in the imperium and give absolutely zero fucks about collateral damage and rescuing civilians.

@@subatomicseal7789 I mean, every successor chapter can basically get any name they want. It isn't the Imperium's fault as much as whoever was the first chapter master of the Marines Malevolent.

Their focus is saving humanity as a whole and sometimes you need that one element that just doesn't give a fuck and kill the enemy collateral damage or no.

They were abhumans and part of the Imperium, but their homeworld got nomed by a hive fleet, so there's bassically none left, and for all intense and purposes are extinct.
The Eldar have occasionally worked with the Imperium, and the Tau have made temporary alliances as well.
But, by and large, in the Imperium, if you see something that isn't a human or astartes, shoot on sight. You'll have been told beforehand if you were working with aliens.
A simple snatch and grab mission somehow ended up in a shootout with chaos, tau, then orks out of nowhere. Definitely a standard 40k day.
