The management side of things is almost complete, then I'll flesh out the missions and combat. The enemies will probably be the ayyyys from Icebreakr's Foes and Allies Pack, my spooks and maybe DevourerKing's mutants and WebKnight's Zombies and Creatures. The research and upgrades are just strings in arrays, very easy to customize. Not sure if this will be a mod or a mission.

Almost ready for release. The script only affects the gunner of a tank that a player is commanding. Gunners will rapidly engage any targets the player knows about. Vehicles are given priority, then dismounts. Tanks will only use coax on infantry, AFVs with autocannons may use either coax or HE shells. Should make commanding tanks with AI crew much more fun.

Drogons! I don't quite understand how to use the Drongos AI Fire Support mod, what needs to be synchronized with what, and so on. Can you tell me?
You don't need to sync anything, just place the module, double click on it and edit the options.

Was the gunship loiter task removed at some point for stuff like the Blackfish etc? Last time I remember trying it was showing up for me, totally possible it was some kinda incompatibility though I was using lots of other mods

Hey Drongo, i know this is an old video so i hope i can get a reply. But with the round adjustments i had a question. Does OT factor come into play when making deviation adjustments? For context of OT factor, it's the value used to convert deviation corrections based on the distance the observer is from the target. I only ask because when i was testing and making corrections, the corrections seemed a bit inconsistent. I'd make an adjustment to range and deviation but it didn't seem like it really changed at all.
I know this is 5 years video, but is there a way to use it with BM-21 grad, it's not working, no rockets shot

3:40 To save anyone else the hours it took for me to figure out how to do this: Step 1: Download & Install PBOManager Step 2: Put the config.cpp into a folder named what you want your addon to be called. Step 3: Right click the folder down to PBOManager and select pack as "@FolderName". This will create the .PBO Step 4: Go back into your folder, take out the config.cpp file & create a subfolder called "addons" Step 5: Put the .PBO you packed into this "addons" subfolder Step 6: Launch Arma 3, Go into Mods, Press +Local Mod, then select the "@FolderName" Step 7: If successful it should appear in your modlist that you can boot up for the next part.
For Groups, DO NOT add brackets "(" or ")" to the callsigns or it will mess up the config.

This mod, combined with the enhanced command one you make have really turned single player DUWS into a whole other game. I like that I can easily call in air patrols if HQ detects an enemy presence, how I can run small squad operations in one area while launching a full blown high command assault in another area, and being able to load troops into Hurons and insert them into action for reinforcements has been awesome. The vanilla AI can be so frustrating to do the simplest things, like telling a truck to drive straight from point A to point B, but your hard work has made it sooo much better

i know this is a bit old, but i cant get it to work. I synced the module to a squad that also has a transport method. But they still either don't respond, or they load up and never leave
Is there a way to call in airstrikes purely with a laser designator? I have a lot of trouble calling in a strike whenever a vehicle is moving.

so i've just discovered this and i hope you're still around to reply. This has to do with having the aircraft land, specifically the USAF ac-130. I give it the order to land, i pick the airstrip to land it, and it just nosedives into the ground. Am i doing something wrong?
I've heard similar reports from other users, I think the issue is in the config of that aircraft. Nothing I can do about that, I just use the default BIS land command.
@@drongomods im pretty new when it comes to working the editor. How do i use that? i try setting the landing waypoint and still get the same result. I did notice it begins to land at the waypoint, but always falls short and eats the dirt
@@drongomods no worries. I ended up figuring out that having it return to the air corridor keeps it from crashing. But yea, it's definitely the bird's configs. I looked at them and they have a ton of extra flight parameters compared to any other C-130

You need to use the Addon Builder in Arma 3 tools. Ask on the Arma 3 discord for more information.

I've never used that mod, I can take a look at it. Rimmy has a mod coming out that I think lets AI use Crocus drones though.

iv been using this mod for years its hands down the best i have one question when i set everything up the thecore/difinefaction/custumtroopsinradious is i use the spawner node they just use the regular opfour troops not my custum troops but it works for the regular map pop core
Custom loadouts don't work with DMP. If you mean vanilla NAO classes are spawning, it means some modules are too close to each other.

Ive just found your mods. And OHHHH BOY, it breathed a whole lot of life in to my Anti Stasi, since I'm playing alone and I can now actually lead my men on more than squad

Mod is good, but the author forgot to do important thing: 1.) update and instruct his users on how to properly install this mod (including the only mods that works with this and other things related, in order to prevent complaints like 'It doesn't work with ACE, RHS, etcs, no menu showing when pressing home button and so on..' Its 2024 and #ArmaholicIsDead
Subscribe on steam like you would any other mod. There is usage info on the mod page and extensive info in the readme in the mod folder. It works with ACE and RHS, all of this info is in the readme. Read the readme.
