I have one I ordered a few years ago, yeah, the HDMI also looks awesome. Almost as good as a VGA output would if the Saturn had one.

You literally tested every game I would of tested in this video myself except outrun lol , for a fix that’s not like an OSSC or anything like it’s nice. S-Video signal out too is solid
I hope that will fix things, the S-video signal from my saturn ntsc on all my flat screens gives a bad image(but good for crt), yet branded tvs, such as panasonic and high-end sony HD... My 16-bit consoles are very good in RGB on this screen's, the ps2 ditto in yuv, the ps1 in rgb not too bad. But for the Saturn it's the worst.
Well.. a nice plug and play solution !
Of course aficionados of retro gaming will tell us that you can't change the size of the image, bla bla... but it's an easy solution. Don't know for the input lag ... but it seems impressive.
That's so weird - always when i look for HDMI cables for old systems, they are sold out or freaking expensive - changes instantly whrn i bought an expensive one 😂

This accessory has a best way, HDMI get's it better for Saturn, yeah, Saturn is my best Sega console.
Nice video, I recently got a similar device, but then my main concern is, is it safe to use this on a hdmi tv?, switching scaling won’t damage the TV in some way? Thanks for the video.
If that adapter don't take too much juice, i could use the power supply of the sega saturn's 5v rail that i did use for my modchip already to power this one too. I would need to probably mesure ti.

Compared to some suggestions in the comments from people about reviewing their hardware ... this one is really interesting because it does something what other stuff doesn't (If I was a Sega Saturn owner I imagine I would be happy with this hardware brought to my attention)

you can really see the smoothing filter on the shooters you demoed. Some may like it but I found it a little distracting on those.
Now we need a CORRRCT Price value for a SD MEMORY CARD READER for Saturn! Not a $100+ bux for a product that cost less then a nickel to make, probably cost a nickel to make 50 of them! And then they are price gouged so high I won't guess the % mark-up!

PS4 9.0 jailbreak right now …. Allows for Saturn pkgs to be created , with close to 100% from what I’ve played… for those who are NAUGHTY! Lol ….. this cord does seem to do the trick tho ! Love the ratio switch

I just can't track this down at the moment, seems to be unavailable everywhere, unlike some more expensive options, that seem to be less reliable, go figure. Anybody tracks one down, please let me know!
I've got converters for my DC and N64, which both seem to work (I only have an LCD TV). The DC is definitely the better one for me.
One thing I'd like to know with this one, can I plug the USB into the slot on my TV, or do I have to buy a charger or use an existing one?
Sega Saturn outputs RGB natively, not S-video.
Saturn supports composite, S-video and RGB.
I wish they'd make one for the Dreamcast too, but also for the PS1/PS2.
They do make a Dreamcast version.

For reals, it's compatible with all of the older consoles, and upscales, adds anti-aliasing, etc.
It might be a bit pricey, but one Mcable is vheaper than a HD adapter for every other console each.

Been looking for a HDMi option for my Sega Saturn for a long time. Got burnt with a similar Dreamcast hdmi adapter which stopped working after a few months so but dubious :/

better off getting retroscaler 2x + s-video or OSSC + High Quality Scart.
could have done a before and after comparing both modes!
I was thinking doing a compare with let's say 20 euro upscaler and some cables.

For those wondering, the Hyperkin HDMI Cable for Sega Saturn is awful, it has so much audio hiss the games are near unplayable, you gotta really wanna play some Saturn to put up with it.

Not a good option, RGBscart - HDMI looks 10x better and more colorful. There still is no HDMI solution for Saturn that taps the RGB signal straight from the motherboard.
Do you have a recommendation for a Scart to HDMI adapter?

Don’t waste your money. Just buy a retrotink 2x for a much better experience. Don’t give your money to these cheap devices
So based on what I've seen here, there is no difference between this and using a standard scart cable. Seems a waste.
