In this video, we will be taking a look at the Columbus Circle HDMI Converter for the Sega Saturn and comparing the image quality found on a standard composite cable and S-Video cable.
    Notes:
    * NTSC on Nights into Dreams is NTSC-J.
** No lag testing was done, as I do not have the necessary equipment to accurately check this out.

Think I saw this on the US store and it only outputs S-Video signal via the cable which sucks for image quality but at least get's the full screen view and isn't cropped like seemingly all Saturn HDMI cables that output RGB, waste of money though really. I use the Intecgaming cable for recording my Saturn footage on my channel as it outputs RGB but some games will be slightly cropped due to it being zoomed in a bit, mainly noticed on fighting games... I really wish someone could make a cable that keeps the correct image size AND outputs RGB...surely it can't be that hard?

I'm sure someone will come up with a solution sooner or later, even an HDMI FPGA solution would be good, but the complexity of the hardware is a challenge. Thanks for watching the video. 🙂
