Awesome! First the camber kit info video and now a install video. Keep it up guys this is what I like to see! Updates are awesome! I have my racing shocks and lowering springs on the way for my Integra. I will be getting some camber kits now ;)
"That mechanic" is the famous "Dr. Charles" Madrid, he is a pioneer in the industry, today enthusiasts are still benefiting from his knowledge and findings. Great guy to meet at least once in life.
Then maybe show him what a torque wrench is, instead of zapping all the bolts with an impact gun to XXX torque. Worst of all is when re-installing the wheel, hitting the bolts tight with the impact gun, and not using a criss-cross pattern and tightening in steps. I wouldn't let this guy work on my lawnmower. But the video was informative in showing the process of installing the camber kit.
You have to preload the suspension before tightenning bolts, otherwise you will destroy your bushings. Also you have to apply the right torque. Good tuners tend to be bad mechanics.
@espinoza956, camber kits are recommended for vehicles with ride height modifications. If the overall size of the wheel and tire combination you upgrade to is the same, but you are experiencing uneven tire wear you might want to look into having a professional alignment first. Cars can get out of alignment over time due to hitting bumps and potholes in the road.
4 allen bolt holding that upper ball joint.. and the moveable plate its on your gonna hit a bump and your camber settings fuckd if it doesnt break the tiny allen bolts
Yeah get different camber kits. I just got some K-Tuned ones to replace my Junk2's. The bushings that connects the arm to the frame are GONE already on my Junk2 kit on the passenger side and making clunking noises. They are not even that old either. They are garbage in my opinion.
So when you're lowering your car do you need to replace the upper control arms with adjustable ones? Or do you just need a camber plate on the coil overs?
Depends what kind of suspension you have. Double wishbone is like this has the camber adjusted in the upper arm. MacPherson strut has the camber and the top of the coilover. You don't need camber adjusted if you lower ur car but it's good idea cuz it will cause you to have some negative camber if you lower it a lot. So to correct that you need camber kit.
yo, ive removed/ installed my shocks so many times , I ALMOST always have trouble getting the bolt that goes through the fork and LCA hole flush! any suggestions? what i do is i always jake up my brake disc to get the holes flush, i have tried installing this bolt b4 the top of the tower bolts but sometimes run into problems???
geez.. SKUNK is doing suspension system but since when they do that, when they can't even tight the wheel lugs nuts in correct specification, the guy at the video 2:54 doing a Z method.. that's not how you do it for a 4 lug nut version wheel.. it's a 1,4,3,2 and X version for a 4 lug nut wheel.. not a Z version .... . get it right..
Pro series junk.. I love spending almost 300$ on control arms only to have to go to the hardware store and change all the hardware just to keep your pro series junk shit ball joints from moving. For the price you would think ttheyd actually be quality.. HA JUNK2

Been running Skunk 2 for a long time never had a problem with anything
Thanks for all the awesome video's!
Gotta love the old EF's. You guys should make a rear subframe brace for EF civic and CRX :)

Yeah would be nice if you put the torque specs of all these bolts so we didn't have to look them up.
nice video SKUNK2
Use a jack and push lc up a lil until lined up worked for me u just have to mess around with it and tap it in

Yes it is.
Doesn't the suspension bolts for the lower arm have to be tighten when the car is at ride height?
Yes, unless they are poly bushings.
funny say on the box dot use impack, and there video shows them using one. also did not tighten or adjust coilovers
Once mine was installed on my dc integra it squeaks a lot! any advice ?
Nick Araujo Theyre junk, change them for a quality part or OEM

a 94 del sol is the same process, but im wondering if the product is applicable to that year and model?
does this kit include the upper ball joint?

Bravo! And you just blown your bush at shock absorber fork. All those screws needs to be tightened with loaded suspention.
i love blowing bush, reminds me of the 60's
yep definitely what i was thinking
How Long did it take u to do that one side?
Thanks for making this video.. made me jump in a front set.. hell, I did the rear too. Lol crx rides way better. Next is motor. =Op
Was removing the strut necessary?
ae86miami yes
@@davidpac4 Wrong
SI RICKO lmao. Go to @1:17
i just installed skunk2 camberkit on my crx. but i think i have to adjust the toe in and out and get a 4 wheel adjust or is kt plug and play?
Dr. Charles gets down!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That mechanic is beast I seen him b4 he only fucks with hondas
hello i need if this product is compatible with a honda civic 2001?
and how is install this product?
is it the same processes for d21?
I wish skunk2 would make this awesome product for Acura rsx 2006😭😭
Nice.!!
is this the same process as an integra 97?
lizerd1316 yup
DOPE D.I.Y!!!!
If your car is lowered you are probably seeing the results of negative camber.

yep the balljoint will just slide off just like that... hahaha
it still kills me on tires do i need to raise it ?? if i just aligned it
I Don't See Any Reason Why You Would Remove The Shocks If You're Just Changing The Upper Control Arms...
because of that piece connecting each anchor bushing the spring gets in the way
Dang thats a skunk2 certifeid car thats thing really dirty my stuff is way cleaner than that
2:54 i dont tight it like that
geez..
