You don't need a press for these bushings. They go in and out easily enough. Just need to barely tap it with the appropriate sized sockets. I just did mine today and they were extremely easy to install.
It depends on a few factors such at suspension type, spring rates, rear sway bar size and even driving style. It is all based off preference. We can not say hole number 1,2, or 3, is better, it is up to you to fine tune the vehicle to your liking.
@gasper44, genuine Skunk2 bushings can be identified by their five grooves placed alongside the inner diameter. Most clone LCAs include cheaper bushings that feature eight grooves and that copied Skunk2's original, older bushing design. You can see pictures of our updated LCA bushings by searching "LCA Bushings" on our website.
This depends on each vehicles suspension setup. If the vehicle is excessively stiff, more force is translated into the bushings and the chassis before the suspension moves. This causes faster wear. Conversely, softer suspension will exert less force against the bushing and wear it less. Other things to factor in are conditions of other suspension bushings which, if bad, can cause excess wear on other bushings due to poor suspension geometry. Exact length is not easy to determine, though these are much more resilient than OEM when installed on a performance application.
