@TaLoCc , we can only assume your Ebay camber kits are bottoming out on the fender. The Skunk2 Pro Series Camber kits for the DA chassis are designed to clear the fender so that they will not bottom out on the inside of the fender, which would should solve your problem and allow you to go lower with out having to worry about bottoming out. This is a situation where millimeters can count...
They may, they may not. We only offer and recommend replacement ball-joints for our own camber kits as we have not tested our components with any of the other manufacturers parts out there.
@shortyboy1986, "regular" or OEM control arms do not offer camber adjustment, if that is what you are asking. If you are comparing other companies camber kits to our Pro Series camber kits, take a moment to review the video again, there is a lot of information that could answer some of your questions in the video... feel free to call our customer service also!
So there's more clearance in between the camber kit and the strut tower housing but I feel like the longer ball joint would then cause clearance issues on lowered cars and get nearer to the tires.
@primo914, something like this can happen for a few reasons. Spring rates that are not able to support the height of the vehicle, shock stiffness, being too low or a combination of everything. What suspension are you running and how low is your car?
@Skunk2dotcom im using that egay blue camber kit that is showed in this video. i have a DA and i'm on 205/45/16 and im not slam just low enough to the point my tires match up to the fenders. egay i hate to say it works good lol. "i do plan on getting skunk2 DA camber kit btw" but what i was saying is the tip of the camber bottoms out on my car,idk if that problem are only on DA's
It depends on how low you go and tire size. If you plan to slam the car and want a tucked/flush look, you will most likely need front and rear camber kits.
@primo914, Sounds like your car was VERY low. At that point avoiding contact between the upper A-arms and the body of the car would be greatly affected by the spring rate your vehicle was using.
can you guys design a camber kit with the pro series design but with a nice medium stiff bumb stp block on top, sorta at a angle so it will dampen the impact of the arms? or maybe even a bump stop to be bolted on top
how are you supposed to adjust the non pro models when on the car when the bolt heads are at the top so you cant get to them? not hating, I want to buy these but am worried my alignment shops in the uk won't touch them!
i have a 96 honda accord do i need these my car is already lowered i just ordered a camber kit for my car these did not come with it will i be fine without it????????????
I'm planning on lowering my 1991 Integra I have a 215/45r17 tires and i'm getting the skunk2 shocks with some TEIN springs I know I have to change the camber kit im kind of new to this so IDK what to get I just want to install them as easy as possible and what should I go for
Will my oem 95 civic ex bracket and bushings fit this arm? I have it and it squeeks so bad and grease won't fix it because there's no grease channels in the bushings. I have to make it stop. Please. Make it stop
@TaLoCc, we are not sure what type of vehicle you have, what camber kits you are using or how low your vehicle is. Therefore it is tough to give you any feedback on the issue you are encountering. There is not space to be gained in that area of the vehicle, in our opinion ever millimeter counts.
I'd like to know whats wrong with the tubular shaped camber kits and how they "fatigue" or "fail". It would seem to me that pressed sheet metal would not be as sturdy as mandrel bent and welded tube steel......especially the ones with reinforced bolt plates on the slots.
So old, I know, but I just saw on another tutorial that upper arms are not subject to the majority of the suspension forces. The lower arms are, which is why lower arms are so much beefier (look at them). The upper arms main function is to facilitate and guide the up and down movement of the damper and wheel assembly during suspension articulation, so they don't need to be quite as reinforced. Just thought I'd relay this info.
You guys would make so much more sales if you weren't so over priced. Everyone loves the products but nobody wants to spend all that money. I'm sure you guys make tons of profit already. I just feel that by lowering prices you would be happy with the amount of sales coming in
Like Costco... They don't jack up the prices but instead they make money of the amount of sales! If the prices were cheaper and the quality is good, you would have 90 percent of people purchasing your products and that would make you rich!
everyone i know (including myself) who run the pro series always seem to end up cracking the shock tower under the hood... is this a product default or are we doing somehting wrong?
Pro series junk.. I love spending almost 300$ on control arms only to have to go to the hardware store and change all the hardware just to keep your pro series junk shit ball joints from moving. For the price you would think ttheyd actually be quality.. HA JUNK2
An Amazon.com reviewer stated, that the rubber boots are prone to tearing (doesn't equal Honda's OEM quality) and you need to use SilGlyde lube, to prevent squeaking ball joint noise.
Hey dont hate on this top quality part made in china from the crappiest quality materials , easily chipped paint , its on par with noname ebay junk.listen to an interview with junk 2 owner..he admits to being a pure capitalist making money comes before quality , and hes proud to price all junk 2 high to give the illusion of quality lol.junk 2 ..been there replaced that.
i own a 95 accord and i run those skunk2 control arm , the ones for the crx/integra. They have been widened to fit there but it works great. If you know a good welder, it might be worth the hassle.
ha i just moved from that dump byc.. in california now... fresno... all and i mean all the streets are like glass....i lived in nyc for about 29 years... been here bout 1 year no fuckin love it....so your right steering away from the land minds is hard.. i would hardly drive my eg

Do you have any links to where we can get ball joint replacements for this kind of control arm?
Skunk 2 is the way to go.
It depends on how low you go and tire size. If you plan to slam the car and want a tucked/flush look, you will most likely need front and rear camber kits.

Will this kit work for 2013 Scion FRS?

Would be nice if Skunk2 would make more products for the Nissan. Particularly the 350Z.

Skunk2Racing do you have something for a 2005 Chevy Malibu. Lower.
Does it fit a cb7 accord?
Do I need them if I lower my del sol with xxr 002 with zero offset.
aare these made universal for all car? and do i need skunk2 suspension to put these coilovers on?
was that muse i heard in the background music?
I'd like to know whats wrong with the tubular shaped camber kits and how they "fatigue" or "fail". It would seem to me that pressed sheet metal would not be as sturdy as mandrel bent and welded tube steel......especially the ones with reinforced bolt plates on the slots.
This is something I would also like to know, stamped steel vs a tubular design.

How can I go before I need a camber kit?
What is that tool called that the tech is using to measure the camber on the wheel?
It's called an inclinometer calibrator mostly used for precision wheel alignments.

Like Costco... They don't jack up the prices but instead they make money of the amount of sales! If the prices were cheaper and the quality is good, you would have 90 percent of people purchasing your products and that would make you rich!
