If you have any additional insight for our tall brothers in iron, share your feedback down below! We are all a community here, and height should never allow any of us to feel insecure. Let us all be empowered by one another, and not looked down upon!
AlphaDestiny I'm 6 feet and I guess a lot of people are taller but I'm above average. Long arms too! But my plan is to grow a huge beard, get buff, yoked and big. It will be intimidating af with the enhanced muscles and viking mode beard and bear mode physique.
All you need to do is read the comment section of various fitness channels and you will clearly see several tall lifters that are insecure. I've had thousands express the exact thoughts in this video, how else can I talk about this subject? I've seen it happen time and time again, the complaints are very real bro
AlphaDestiny Just wanna add: Short people will look great too. Just look at you alex! You look fucking huge and beefy I wouldn't fight you lmao
AlphaDestiny Tall guys claiming deadlifts are hard are absolutely bullshitting just had to put that out there.
It's actually the same fucking shit cuz of proportions. Maybe for bench press tho it makes a big difference. EDIT: I'm tall trust me on this one.
naw tall people will die early and they aren't as good as anyone else. nature kills them off quick
I'm 2 foot tall but at least i got jacked with just one workout session
Angelo I'm your height!! When I'm laying on my back! AHAHA! WAIT! You get jacked in just 1 workout? Damn.. my gigantic wang joke doesn't seem that funny... Or may be... OMG!! I'm still just as tall as you laying on my back AND JUST AS VEINY! Yeah! I feel better now. Wait... are you my wang? You share my name... same height... Probably jump headfirst into a relationship... Talk a lot of pissall...
Damn it! I told you to stay down... No more massage for you for 3 days! Punishment for acting like a dick!

Lol
I know the feeling bro, I'm 9'2" so what a 6foot person has for 18" arms I have to make up with 30" arms. The struggle is real.
So true bro,I think 7" guys are avg best of both worlds
Sorry to hear that, bro. I'm 8'11'' and I thought I had problems...
Batalha if you get into contact with bane ask him for some DBOL for me?
Bane has a UA-cam channel, man. Try to send him a private message there. The name of the channel is Ninja Tyler.
I should remind you that Bane is a manlet, though. The lucky bastard is only 6'8''. I wish I could fill out as fast as him... Also, don't take Venom, bro. It can increase your height even further.
>Imagine if you where 8 foot tall
*shows images of crippled/disable/deformed men who can't even stand
>Imagine how strong you would be
dense
tbf the tallest man who ever lived (peaked at 8'11) was a very strong man, and he fs didn't train
As a 6ft 4.5 inches , I've never spammed the comment section with "manlet" .
Great video btw ..
Because you're a real man who is secure in himself. Good stuff brother.
I'm 6'5 and ive never done that idk why people do.
Yeah fr we all are just looking to be the best we can be, no reason shame others.
@Gotcha B1tch 6'3 is a perfect height lol. Not too tall not too short. You also gain muscle easier. But then again if you are 6'8 and you work out, you are gonna like a total titan beast 🤣.
I'm a tall lifter and I have to admit I've gotten jealous of my shorter friends seemingly making gains faster than me, but I've never actually berated or harassed anyone for their height. I think the key for most guys like me is to be patient; I'm still a noob and it's easy to become jealous of others looking way more buff than yourself at the moment, but like you said, after 5-10 years of solid training and dieting it should be an entirely different story. Thanks for being an inspiration and looking at every side of the story man, your content is absolutely top notch. Keep up the good work!
Excellent commentary brother, and yes patience is key.
World needs more ppl like you
Sexy Vegan. Lol, at that age you better hope grandpa don't die from that juice. Besides, you might even live past 100.
Only time I'm jealous of my short friends is when my buddy box squats 600+ for reps with perfect form because he practically drags his nuts on the box when he walks over it. (Btw, the squats are for football practice, not ego lifting, and you are assigned a box depending on your size. IE: over 5'9 you get a "tall box" under 5'9 you get a "short box")
Dude I have the same thing. Jealous of the the others cause they look much better. You got an lifting insta man?
The #1 insecurity of tall lifters: economy class plane seats
So true. Although doable for 1 - 2 hours
Did this nigga just gain 7k subs in a week since 50k special ? God damn thats awsome
jsiwqhx dkhlxfi beards are magic
jsiwqhx dkhlxfi found him in recomended. My new favorite
Hes not a nigga hes a white man mostly Italian!
lmao
+Marky Mark He's Canadian that grew up with Italians.
most of these tall guys just makes excuses because they're not using their height to their potential. when your tall and jacked, you'll look like a titan and will be extremely intimidating. They're just making excuses!
Too true!
Being intimidating is not always a good thing though, especially in the workplace.
If you're young, most people in the organisation are going to be your boss. Some may feel the need to assert dominance over you in some way or another if you made them feel inferior, like if you stand a bit too close from them and tower over them. They can feel threatened if you make an emphatic gesture while wpeaking for example.
As for strength I'm weak af but that's just me being lazy
Realz
No you I can eat it easily I just can't afford it 😂
If you can't afford it GOMAD
I'm tall and I think it is fuckin terrible to make fun of somebody because he's shorter, that's so stupid... you're not "better for being taller" that is one of the only things you can not control is your height, great vid alpha!
Baddicus B being small is femanine, be a man
Ok
That's exactly how I feel man. I'm 5'11 and I have never made fun of anyone for being short, it's ridiculous. My older brother is 5'6 so he's relatively shorter than me and idiots have made fun of him for his height in the past when they are only like 2 inches taller. it's stupid.
MosEisleyBlues lmao troo, fuck these midgets who all have little man syndrome, angry bcos of their tiny penises
MosEisleyBlues okay
The biggest insecurity is when we see someone taller than us. I'm about 6'1" but when I see these guys who are 6'4" to 6'6" I feel incredibly small.
'Regular tall guys' - 'that 7 foot guy who worked out with Rich Piana'
..'regular'
pretty regular if he is Dutch :P
@@hecatrice2064 he is
Alex is so honest and humble
the guy is not swedish, it is an acquaintance of mine (he has a company where he sells food, I often buy from him), his name is Olivier Richters and he is dutch, 2m17
My bad, I was unfamiliar with his background and apologize if I misrepresented him. All I know is that he dwarfed many bodybuilders. Thank you for clarifying.
No problem bud, keep up the good vids
That's 7'2'' daamn
Swedish, Dutch, same difference, almost. Both countries are within a few hundred feet from each other.
Yep, there is a lot of my family that is from Mexico too. My great grandparents came over to the U.S. from there.
From my observation, It's usually the average height guys or slightly above average guys who are insecure because there are guys who are 6 5 towering over them and shorter guys who weigh less and out lifting them. So they're kind of in a sense in limbo. I have never met someone really really tall calling manlet toward someone shorter.
Dennis Chen Precisely. I admit it lol
Lol im 5.11 and when i look to taller people is to more analyse how much taller they are then me. Or if they are as tall as me.. but if your like 6.3 i usually dont care tho( above 6.2 is too much 6.1 is perfect)
Dennis Chen yess dude you read my mind I was thinking this the whole time because I'm 5'10 and my short friends are much stronger then me and my taller friends dwarf me :/
Dennis Chen , I'm 42 years old, 6' 2" and I didn't even know this was a thing. Never even heard the term "manlet" until just now. Lol I love my height and don't hate on anyone for theirs. Definitely never heard of tall or average guys being insecure, always heard about "short man's disease/syndrome" though. (Short guys overcompensating because they are insecure about their height)
Whatever though, I simply accept there can be advantages to different heights and builds. Just try to be happy with your own.
True, I'm by far the tallest in both gyms I go too at 6'8 and you can see the average folk select few looking and trying to puff chest out. Terribly insecure when I couldn't give the slightest of fucks about anyone around me other than when I see that and it just makes them look daft.
Man some guys on the internet saying anything under 6'0 is manlet...All a bunch of trolls lol
Yeah it's fucked up
anyone under 6'2" is a manlet
anyone under 7ft is a manlet
so 6ft is average height now? fuck me i worked so hard to get here
5'11" is acceptable, but anything lower really starts to move into the realm of a woman.
I'm 6'4'' and I wouldn't trade it for better muscle proportions. I have 250lbs, been training for 11 years now and my legs are almost 31inch and arms are over 19inch when pumped.... There are some smaller guys that look close or even bigger than me, but when we stand next to each other, tottally different story...
(edit) I also want to say that for the first 5 years of training it almost looked like I don't lift.... guys keep working, you have a lot of bones to fill...
Thanks for the encouragement man! I'm 6'5 and started lifting seriously 6 months ago, put on over 20lbs in that time so I'm up to 209lbs. I'm still getting used to not looking lanky when I catch myself in the mirror.
I'm 195cm / 6' 5" and this video is fucking TRUTH!! Alex you keep putting out great content and I especially like your view on insecurity. I've always loved being tall but since I started lifting I've been frustrated with my slow progress and "bad" leverages for the bench. You've made me realize that being tall is a belssing even in lifting, even though I might need to work longer to reach a similar physique to a shorter guy.
Much respect and can't wait for you to hit 100K subs, it'll happen in NO TIME!!
Glad this resonated with you Karl
This is true,as a younger man and a bit of an animal, i was never really conscious of height,or lack of it my my case (5ft 7) it only became apparent when i dared to try to become proficient at contact sports that it was mentioned to me how hopeless my case was.
This,as i remember it,came from much taller people who i now realise were threatened by me perhaps.
Most shorter people don't believe in themselves so are easy targets for bullies.
The paradoxical thing is that when a shorter person decides to do something about this,he is accused of having a complex himself!
Human nature is very strange.
100% agree.
Matthieu Gagnon I'm tall in my country, What interest is there to tell a short guy that he is a short guy? Don't you think he doesn't know that already? And "I wouldnt want to be in your shoes for a day." No more respect.
One of the weirdest thing I heard come out of a 6'2" guys mouth was how uncomfortable he was a round guys of the same height. He said he's used to being taller than most every person and that it made him feel weird around other tall men. I'm 5'4" and I just laughed at him. His insecurity was just totally unexpected.
As a 6’4 person I can say almost every tall guy feels this way, not uncomfortable but like that “wtf feelin or that oh shit another guy that’s my height feelin” cuz we ain’t use to seeing people our height or taller.
@@RackedupG
Yeah, maybe insecure isn't the best description. It's just social encounter rarely delt with. He's a hell of a nice guy so I didn't take his comment has negative.
I think that’s probably normal for taller dudes. For me I like being around people taller who I’m pretty sure I can win a fight against, I know sounds weird but it’s cuz I like competition and challenge from playing sports. I’m 5’9 so average height but short for a sport like football, when people are a lot smaller than me I feel like I have to be a little nicer to them. I’m also a big guy I’m 260lbs so it’s like not wanting to intimidate them. Idk if these things are insecurities, more so just someone’s perception and personality I guess.
The only thing i hate with being tall is that i cant squat properly without doing a good morning.. im 6'2 with a 6'6 guys legs and arms and a 5'8 dudes torso, i physically cant fucking squat and feel fucking awful about it, give me something alex..
I can't squat either. For us, it's use hack squat and leg press, and also thrusters or romainians instead.
It's more work, but trying to squat with a bent back is asking for trouble.
Squatting is not god for us long limbed mofos.
Great topic.... ( I'm definitely this Guy ).I'm 6'4 ...245pds and I used to step in the gym and feel like why the fuck I'm I here. I was completely insecure....I was comparing myself to alot of shorter lifters. After sometime I noticed that my leverages were alot stronger then most and honestly it's still somewhat frustrating because I don't have that same size compared to my strenght. People say I'm big....I know it's wrong but for years my motivation has been the comparison to get as big and strong as the shorter lifters.....I'm just now after all this time coming into my own and feeling blessed of what God gave me.
Glad this video resonated with you Kevin
Hi Alex! I'm 17 years old and weigh 154 pounds. I've been following your novice program for ~4 months now. Did a 90 kg benchpress recently and i'm going for a 100 kg benchpress soon, I need your blessing! Can't thank you enough for the great videos and amazing program, you're killing it.
What's your bench now?
i would rather be tall and leaner than short and buff
therambow623 lol who wouldn't,fuck being short
therambow623 plus you can always get bigger, but the short guy can't get taller.
therambow623 trueeee
by leaner im guessing you mean skinny lol shits gay
therambow623 fuck that i wouldnt be tall and skinny af
This channel is blowing the fuck up, well deserved, realest dude on UA-cam.
Damn straight bro, realest most laid back down to earth dude is the way to describe him. Only jealous little betas hate on the dude cause you can't push around a self-confident alpha no matter how tall you are. ;)
Excellent video my friend! I'm 6'11 and I know the struggle! I've been training for several years and it's taken those several years, to put on size and fill out! I've learned so much along the way, however I work hard and adjust my workouts to compensate for my height. Sure we have longer travel and ROM, however that's still no excuse! Just gives us an excuse to work harder and reap the benefits! We can all help each other.. large, small, tall and short! Love your videos man, Thanks! -James
The insecurity part was right but it goes both ways. Im 6'8 330 and little guys at the gym ego lift next to me or try to act like they are stronger than me but I have your thought process and don't give a shit because I know I look absolutely massive next to them and they feel insecure in themselves.
Fat fuck or roider
Every height has strengths and weaknesses in my opinion. There are a variety of situations where being smaller to fit in certain areas is desirable, and a variety where being taller for extra reach can be helpful, so I've found myself wishing I was both. But being tall in weight lifting has always seemed like it would be incredibly helpful just so you can grab things in strongman motions that would normally require much more effort if you're of average height or shorter, plus the extra bodyweight you carry around can be very helpful for counterbalancing things and keeping stable.
But in the end I think insecurities are far reaching. Looking at yourself in the mirror and wishing your muscles were bigger isn't just a height thing, it's a gym rat thing that everyone who's seen their pump does. What matters isn't how much you think about it or wish you had it, but that you just go out and work for it. Sitting around finding excuses isn't fun, but finding out just how strong you really are is.
Good points Preston
being tall is an advantage 99% of the time. only things manlets can do is compete in lower weight classes in boxing/wrestling or horse jockeys. all the alpha sports and heavier weight divisions are dominated by tall people.
tall people get more girls, manlets are virgins. There is literally almost nothing good about being shorter lol
@@ihatevoyager
God you're insecure
@@ihatevoyager damn youre literally the type of insecure person he is talking about in this vid
Tip of the day, if you're short, never stand next to tall guys.
Tip of the day, who gives a fuck.
Do it with confidence and it amplifies everyone else's perception of your confidence. I promise.
That sounds really pathetic and insecure.
I'm short and I don't give a shit if my friends are bigger.
Always lay down
Thanks for telling me being tall is a blessing I'll be back in 9 and a half years now
Im 6'2 and next im going to the gym I'm going to stand next to a shorter dude and say" Im way bigger than you brah"
173cm (5'8) is actually average height
178cm (5'10) is - according to google - actually average.
google isn't entirely accurate with height as other measure sites say another thing completely.
I've checked many different "measuring sites" and they all give averages from 176cm till 183cm
well to me 173 (5'8) is considered tall or average to me
Everyone just needs to get along. We're all gonna die one day, just chill.
6'3 here, height is something men care about other men - but not women. Women just want somebody taller than them, and men just want somebody shorter than them. The older I get the more I find women seem to dismiss superficial things (that you can't control) like height. It's similar to tits for us, yeah tits are great, big is fine will probably get more looks - but small is fine too. It's not a big deal. T
here's pros and cons to being tall. I find shorter guys tend to have better proportions and insertions - not to mention better overall posture. Where as me as a tall man tend to look better in 'slim fitting' clothes, and have a stronger deadlift. It's not really a huge deal. Compare yourself to what you looked like 3 months ago, 6 or even 12 months ago. Stop trying to negotiate with yourself as to why you're technically better than the guy next to you.
Owen C how old are you? Girls in their early 20s were like that
Owen C no offense bro but it's more about facial aesthetics. If you are handsome even if you are short or tall you'll get women.
you said "woman want somebody taller than them" ... that dramatically decreases the amount of women who will even consider me, because i'm 5'5. Much harder to get a girl of you're short
my mate is 5ft4 but gets chicks left right and centre.. usually only if theyre 5ft6 or shorter tho
@@comedyman112 majority women r under 5'5... so u got no problem
Congratz to your 56k subs! You deserve it! Keep up the great work :)
Thank you Charlie
I love the way you cover both sides of the coin Alex. At 5'7.5 I'm comfy in my skin! Being accepting of myself goes a long way to being a BETTER person to EVERYONE you may encounter. 💪
I'm 6 foot 1 and I've been training for 3 years. I'm 19, 220 lbs, and around 12-15% bf. what odd is that even though I'm tall I have very full muscle bellies and have a generally stocky build although I do come from a line of athletes. My dad was a pro hockey player and his dad was a pro football player
That's incredible dude
alpha, your the fucking man bro. I'm tall myself and this video is pure motivation to keep pushing.
3:30 depends on the type of weightlifting you're doing. For Powerlifting, being taller is better. For Olympic lifting, being shorter is better.
STRONG MAN BRO
ATLAS STONES
good video! as a 6' tall guy I realized that I actually have to gain a lot more weight than I thought originally to fix my leverages and be on par with the proportions of the shorter athlete. so right now I'm dirty bulking to 240lbs in that goal. I'm gaining a pound or two a week and already I'm feeling much stronger.
Tall guy with 12 years in and dwarfing everybody... in my dreams. 😂
I’m basically average height (6’0) and I don’t understand why anyone would look down on someone for their height. It’s such a stupid thing that you can’t even control.
the huge guy comes from the Netherlands. he is 2.18 metres tall which is absurd. His name is Olivier Richters
I'm only 3 inches tall, I have to jump to each key to type. It sucks because after I'm done typing this, my legs will go into hypertrophy.
There are more insecure manlets then tall guys..... Us manlets treated like shit due to our height
I can't dude, you are the fucking shit. Hit pretty much every topic on spotttttt. This is exactly how I felt in the beginning. How long of hardcore training, I've been trying to keep up with your workouts and they're fucking insane. The behind the knee deadlift at the knee got me to double my deadlift in two weeks no joke. Great video Alpha
lol Franco Columbu was literally 5'5 and he competed in the World's Strongest Man and imo could've won if not for a debilitating injury
hognigk96 imo he got hurt because of his height but very strong he was scoring well in that comp for sure
You are truly alpha when you admit that someone else is better then you
U are the man bro
Can confirm. Trained with a dude that's is 6'-8" and this guy is legit one of the most insecure guys I've ever met. When he saw that me and others I train with we're getting noticeably bigger he stopped coming to the gym I even told him he would eventually be way bigger but he wanted to be a mass monster within a few months lol. That's not how it works.
Very interesting
hes telling the truth i got 17.5 inch arms at 6'1 202 lbs and people come up to me and ask the measurements and when I tell them they say "i thought they were bigger"
Damn 17.5 inch arms. How long have you been training?
Going on steady for over a year now. Started with 18 inch fatceps.
...the other good thing about being tall is that girls on Tinder will hook up with you... until you ask them how much they weigh!
dude chick's obsession with height is insane, I don't think girls can even gauge if a guy is 5 11" or 6 2" at a glance, it's only how they compare to the people around them, it seems like it's only their desire for ever more attention and outdoing other girls, not that the tall guy actually looks any better or anything reasonable like that.
True. Height helps a lot with that, like shit short dudes gotta lie when they're online
Jeremiah John girls can objectify men just as much as we objectify them. They just don't own up to it which is bullshit. the hypocrisy...
I'm 6'4 and after being liked by 1500 girls in 3 months on Tinder and ultimately meeting only a handful from those 15 hundred, I can honestly say that the Girls on Tinder are there mostly for validation and attention: getting their photos "liked", instead of really wanting to meet anyone.
most girls consider 5'11 tall. Anything under 5'7 is short to most girls, though some don't care about height at all.
BTW, fuck tinder.
Very nice dude.
Unrelated but Alex, I'm doing your novice program and I want your insight on this. How much do you think it will effect my gains if I drink 3 days a week? And is it better to drink on rest days or work days
Should be fine honestly, and I am unsure about the frequency
56k subs wtf?! I still rmb being excited for you to hit 10k subs. rmb chancing into your 'powerlifters aesthetic' video few years ago and from then on learning 90% of the stuff from you. back then you only had 1.6k subs, but set the foundation for my whole mentality and lifting career. I wish that you will hit a million subs in the far future (not suprise if you would). good luck! !
Hi Alex I'm also 6ft 2 and I constantly keep getting remarks from other tall guys on how I shouldn't be doing deficit deadlifts.
I do 180kg w/strict form from legit training while they barely can do 100kg or less and they still like to tell me how to train or that I should shave my body hair.
THE insecurities are hilarious!
Really glad to see your channel absolutely blowing up now man.
I'm 5''9, do an insecurities video on average guys ( or just below average)
Will probably do one next
Same here, around 5'9, but I am 16. My dad is 6ft so if the universe doesn't hate me I'll reach around 6ft in a couple of years.
I'm tall but skinny fat so I look weird
I'm 5'8, I still feel like a complete manlet here (Germany), even chicks are regularly bigger than me
Matt G come to America
Yo Alex just tried above the knee rack pulls for the first time yesterday. My upper back is DESTROYED!
I've never been to Brussels, but I am 6'4" and full of Muscles!
I'm tall I think the shredded look suits us more where shorter guys suit the thicker look
5"11 = not tall or short crew checking in ;(
Dude trust me thats tall. İ am 5-11 myself and i look nearly the same with my 6ft1 friend. And all of you would say 6 ft 1 is god height.
God height lmfao no 6'3 and above is god height.
I don’t care about height my dude.Working out itself it’s the real goal.Going to the gym and just doing what you gotta do.
OF COURSE It's better to be taller. Of course women in general are more attracted to that kind of man. HOWEVER...If the size of your confidence, your charisma, your intelligence and your game is not as "tall" as your body, it is useless. Mike Tyson and others proved this... Confidence, Mental Toughness, Domination and Intimidation is Gold... being tall does not make you a great man, only your behaviour does.
I'm 6" by the way, so not a short Guy saying this. Peace to everyone!
I heard that bro. I'm 6'2 and I'm super shy and as such I've never even had a girlfriend and I'm 28.
I'd trade my height for Alex's personality and outgoing alpha attitude any day!
Gaby Corleone 6 inches tall 😂
Jgx2 G
check out manhood academy it will help you
Jgx2 G same dude. I'm 20 tho I'm trying to overcome this and it's slowly working just keep working at it. I've been super awkward for a year but it's improved. I'm 6'3 and It sucks because sometimes you'll get a women interested in you until thy find out you are just a bitch lol. Worst feeling ever
Hey man, I know the feeling. Nothing sucks more than the 5 minute date....best I've done is 3 hours, lol. To make matters worse I have an extreme ectomorphic body type which makes me even look small and weak, despite the height.
My advice is to keep lifting weights. I'm only benching 100 for 2 reps but my chest sticks out a little already and my shoulders/arms are starting to look like something and it does wonders for the confidence of my walk. I can walk tall with chest up, and instead of me looking away I'm making other guys look away when I make eye contact walking past them.
As a 5’8” guy I would way rather be really tall than small! Tall guys don’t have anything to complain about!
Yes there is lot to complain about for them
1-(Health/ longevity) greater chance of having cancer, high blood pressure (which is link to heart attacks and kidney failure) breaking a bone when falling and of course less likelihood to live longer. If you don't believe me google Manute Bol who died at 47, Andre the Giant who died at 46 are just some of many tall death.
2- (Bodybuilding/ lifting) Takes longer to fill out their physiques and even after many years of training the most they can get is slim and still look lanky unless they on juice or have great genetics.
3- (Gymnastics) Completely no suited for this great sport!!! which is clearly a short men's sport, if you're tall and wanna be a gymnast just forget about it 99% of Olympic gymnast are 5'7'' or bellow. This is because we have a a low center of gravity which give us better balance and small/short bodies are much easier to flip in the air.
4- This were just summarized reasons why tall men can complain, lol
@@kengucci4850everything you listed doesn’t compare to the overall potential you have in the gym and the social benefits like more respect, higher chances with women, etc.
I'm 6'3" and I'm finally feeling the blessing. I've lifted for 4.5 years and I'm filling and swelling up
Dude you nailed this on the head I’m 6,1 I was 150 when I stared lifting I’d say 4 years ago now I’m 200 pounds and I wouldn’t give up being tall for anything we just gotta work a little harder to get that size but the pay off is worth it .
Alex if i send my progress pics of following NE could u post it on the website?
If you are comfortable being on the page sure, send em over
Dick pics?
Alex i have gone from 126lbs to 168lbs doing NE. Keep in mind i was anorexic before however im 12-14% bodyfat now and made amazing gains
I'm 15 and I'm 6ft and growing
bring tall has its perks and everything, but some tall guys like myself have no proportion whatsoever. Like my upper body is kinda short and my legs are fucking out of this world. I sag my gym shorts so much to the point where I'm scared it falls off when doing pull ups. Its all good tho.
why wait 5 to 10 years if you can get there in a couple of months ;) tren hard eat clen
This channel is so underrated. , great stuff , thank you .
The 8' tall dudes would have so many health problems and likely die early. They may not even be able to lift after a certain point in their lives.
No fucking shit, who wants to be 8'0" it's gigantic and you are a fucking freak there is no way you can look good at that height, 6'3"- 6'6" best height ever.
@@Darth-z8v wtf stfu best height is around 6ft5-7ft for bodtbuilding.
really cool of you to make a video like this despite being a shorter lifter, mad respect man.
I'm 5'5", wtf are you empowering tall guys but not your manlet brothers?
I'm going to make a sequel for short men
biggest pet peeve is when tall guys are called big simply because they are tall ..im 5'9 260 that is huge for my hieght compared to a 6'3 200 pound dude
Ur just very fat
What would be your ideal height, weight and physique if you had a choice?
Andre Slay just like connor murphy
Eric Bugenhagen or Steve reeves both are tall and muscular.
I would be 5'9 and 165lbs of lean muscle.
10 feet tall 1460 pounds
6ft
180lb
9%bf
I’m 5”6. And I do some things that taller and bigger guys can’t.. .Does that make me stronger than them pound for pound ?
Honestly I think the gym community is really toxic to tall dues because so many people start going to the gym to make up for being short I've been called lanky and skinny and slender man every name in the God damn book for being tall and I never make fun if short dudes I'm a skinny guy who's 6'4" I'm strong but not muscular i hate going to the gym because I look skinny. If I tense my arms they look big but they look like twigs without it and it kills motivation no one ever notices you've been lifting.
I feel u bruh.. 6'2 180 lbs
@@ouroboros4664 stop complaining and keep lifting brothers.
Im 6ft5 190 lbs 88kg and my arms curve inwards when they arent flexed.
Great vid Alex! I'm tall and trust me guys being muscular AND TALL is a HUGE turn on for women. So my tall brothers in iron, stand tall, stick that muscular chest out and fuckin kill it cuz in the end a tall muscular man looks better than a smaller one.
Kakashi Hatake obviously. tall lifters who are insecure are such phaggots lol... "Do I look good tho? I'm only bigger than all the other guys"
Do all women have the same turn ons you think? In that case is being a weeb one? xD
unless the shorter man is more handsome then it wont matter how much you lift
does 6 feet 8 qualify as tall?
Or unless the shorter man got more money, nothing turns women more on than money.
I like this video. I think the bottom line is to stop comparing yourself to others and embrace the look you have and if you want to change it then make the change. Im 5'6 and used to be 165-170 and had more of a "fluffy" look. I bummed my shoulder on bench and have been doing bodyweight work out for last 5 years. I weigh 135 lbs and feel like I am the strongest and most energwtic I have ever been, and everyone says I look MMA fight ready. Its all good and Im just trying to say you could always make a change and switch it up if you're not happy with yourself.
I'm 5'10 right in the middle, don't gotta worry about being super tall or being a manlet 💪
which makes you a tall manlet *boo hoo*
Hecatrice unfortunately a tall manlets is 5'8 which I am, but I'm not buff enough yet so I'm not a manlets yet
pulp fiction I'm just joking :P
Hecatrice I know lol
being tall but skinny and then bragging about it to a short buff dude is like if you both owned trophy cabinets, the tall but skinny guy is like a large trophy cabinet that is empty and your trophy cabinet is small but it's filled with trophies
Where my 6+ crew at? 6,2 here
Drèi Zepos 6"4
Drèi Zepos 6’2 here boi
185 cm?
Great video I never knew tall lifters had insecurities because I'm 5'11 lifter and wasn't insecure
What about the excuses all tall guys?
Not even joking the number of them that just say "my ROM is bigger so it's way harder" and just ignore the fact that being tall is the best for absolute strength.
Just seen you mention this lol; didn't expect that as I thought it was only going to be about appearance.
but that is a fair statement, longer the ROM, more distance your moving the weight so it's harder. most powerlifters are not tall
You wanna bring powerlifters into this? Strongman are tall as fuck.
+Steven Diahy Check the heights of the world record holders in squat, bench and deadlift. I bet all of them are at least 6'
Most strongmen are tall, crazy tall, Thor, brian shaw, the list goes on.
Weak people put a lot of effort in to finding excuses. Being tall is not a negative for absolute strength because the extra length of the muscles counteracts the extra range of motion.
@cuntlicker75 Patrick is the strongest man in the under 105kg category, he wouldn't stand a chance against WSM competitors.
I'm tall (6'0') and I have to agree with you
1000 pounds Christmas sweater above the knee.
as a guy with long arms, i started to see the most gains and confidence from my dead lift, the bench press take more time and practice. also being tall tends to lead to a LOT of hunching over, proper dead lifts and trap exercises help lots.
im 6'4" btw
6’ tall I don’t make excuses I just go get that work:
Dude your subs are finally picking up 100 000 here we gooo
My arms and neck are long as fuck, I need some pitbull action.
your body type is exactly what im striving for i started working out last month and your videos have helped a lot man keep up the good shit
Do you consider 5'8 short?
I'd call that average or on the very brink of being a manlet. It is on the shorter side though
Jack Hampton yeah it's short but who cares
adam bob I'm talkin legit 5'8... not I'm 5'8 but claim 5'10...
Its short if youre white or black, its avg if youre mid eastern and tall if youre asian and south asian
Jack Hampton yeah, its my height lol. depends where you live too. where i live if i walk in the city I'm short. not dwarfed but still short.
Yo alpha just wanted to let you know that your novice-intermediate program for folks with lagging lower or upset body is genius. I had a knee injury and my squat and DL were laggin hard, but since following your lower body focused program I've made some serious gains.
Hey Alex, for someone who has very little lean mass, say 148 lbs at 5'10" but is also at a pretty high bodyfat like 17-18% bodyfat, would you recommend they try cutting down to like 10% before going on a lean builk or just bulk and get strong from the get go? There's a lot of conflicting opinions about this in the fitness industry.
148lbs at 5'10 has zero business cutting. That shouldn't even cross their mind. They should be solely focused on gaining weight.
You've gained around 6,000 subs in the past 4 or 5 days man, that shit is crazy. You deserve every bit of it, quality content here.
I am 8"4 and bench 135 with a bigger range of motion, so by this I am stornger then you.
Dude it's 2017, 8"4 isnt tall anymore
Bitches on Tinder still wouldn't like ya
you raise everyone up such a good quality dude
Manlets... will they ever learn?
Is it weird that going to the gym is the best part of my day?
