I don't blame people that storm Lake Erie dumped 19 feet of snow City & Schools were closed for 3 weeks. Even now we average 10 feet almost every winter. No one knows of all Citys near 5 Great Lakes why Buffalo gets most snow

Ronnie Wood has added cool and rocking licks to several bands, but Mick Taylor's Great Guitar work is among the Rolling Stones greatest albums and recordings.

That's probably how it is for the general public. When I see clips of the Stones reunion with Mick Taylor it's hard to imagine he would've stayed with them all that time, the way he comes across. It wasn't anything like his young years when his good looks and wonderful playing was enough. I think their musically best years were with him, but that's for a big part because Jagger and Richards were at a songwriting peak (among other reasons). Wood gave them staying power and was the right man at the right time, when music was dominated by disco and punk.

OMG, I was at this show!! My yonger brother and I went together. 5 rows from the front at the Will Rogers Arena in Fort Worth, Texas. They played the entire Some Girls album from start to finish. I couldn't believe it. KZEW announced the ticket sale and I hauled a_ _ to Ticketmaster in Preston Center in Dallas and scored the best tickets to the best rock show of my life! I can't believe I'm just now finding this video but I'm glad I did because it sure does bring back a lot of memories. Thank you for reading my rave.

This was one of the few Rolling Stones tours that I stupidly missed (since my first Stones show in 1969). I was drunk in Arizona or something. I'm just glad that "Live in Texas" was finally released on DVD. The band was very tight that night.
Me too. Everywhere the Stones played that tour became Rock and Roll central. Local front page news and every song on the radio stations a Stones song and a certain electricity and excitement was in the air. Your Stones tickets were the most valuable possession you owned.

The Temptations sang this song with lovey dovey and soulful voices while the The Stones completely flip this song to a rock song that uplifts you and can dance to. Both renditions are amazing.
A prime example of a band playing one of their numbers live closer to the album cut, before it evolves over the years. Some Girls is a great album - among their best IMO.
Im from FTW grew up 1 mile from Will Rogers 2500 seat auditorium. After driving all the way to New Orleans the day before to see the Stones play at Superdome....with VAN HALEN as open act and Doobie Bros..Drive back to FTW and its an unannounced small venue Stones concert ar Will Roger 2500 seat gig///. So I traded a les Paul for two third row center seats it was EPIC ...in their prime Rolling Stones. Ron Wood getting stage rushes JAGGER wakes him up. 5 guys playing their heart out with no backup singers.. CLASSIC ROCK HIGH POINT>!!! I went from the worlds largest indoor concert at the time 110,000 superdome to 2.500 seats the next night.. FORT WORTH CONCERT wayyy better here as you can see,,,,
