Admire your restraint. A phenomenal conversion architecturally - thereafter hideous Dunelm Disco Decor! Rip everything out and it could be phenomenal!

Saying grace before a meal from that pulpit would never be the same again.

It looks so much like an Italian restaurant I know . For me as a home it's too enclosed, I need access to outside.

It looks like every damn new build and hotel in Florida, and LA, and Cleveland, and Rochester, and Seattle, and New Jersey, save for the bits of the original architecture and windows that were allowed to remain. A snoozefest of conformity.

The main house is amazing it used every inch of space beautifully. The guest house was just as beautiful and so very modern. The only thing that might be a deal breaker for someone is the graves and the little cemetery even if there hundreds of years old. You get so much for one property.

Yes, the graves will be an issue for some but theres a certain tranquility there as well which feels really calming because of them.

Many church conversions are 19 th century buildings and they are often the easiest to work with as they were really well built. I'm not a fan of the 19 th century, I find it too heavy but I admit that they are sturdy.

Those are beautiful interior doors with the wood grain placed horizontally. The stain is gorgeous , adding to the warmth and contrasting with all the stone. I wonder what happened with the pews, hopefully sold off .

I love this! The graves wouldn't bother me, that is their resting place and I would be happy to take care of them. I am in love.

Borrowing a song lyric from the Carpenters - "I can see, no matter how near you'll be, you'll never belong to me. But I can dream, can't I?" Yummy home!

A shame that they didn't go with a dark Academia or gothic revival style instead of generic 2020s hotel modern. I miss the days when designers would consider dozens of different styles and variations on them; Tudor, colonial, neoclassic, French Country, southwest, farmhouse, Craftsman, Scandinavian modern, mid century, shabby chic, eclectic, etc etc. Now they've been captive by hive mind groupthink for more than a decade; black, whites, grays, modern minimalism, the same bland reused minimalist modern fixtures, the same lack of personality or originality, the same tall narrow mullion free windows, everything uniform and soulless, wether you're in California, New York, Miami, Chicago, Atlanta, London, York, Sterling, Cardiff, Ontario, Vancouver, Melbourne, or Aukland, the hive mind of interior design serves up the same bland univision everywhere. Why are they all so eager to conform?

I think with read to this being a listed home, there were lots of hoops the owners had to jump through as far as planning was concerned. But it’s sold now so the new owners I’m sure will have fun revamping. Thanks for watching

I love these home tours but I’m in the minority with this one as I think it’s a dreadful ugly conversion that has somehow managed to cheapen the property and to lose the character of a beautiful building, too modern.

I think that is the BEST church conversion I have seen ... all it needs is to have that entirely pointless bath ripped out of the main bedroom ... and a urinal installed in the pulpit. I always think that's a missed opportunity in these conversions., and the only people that would complain are those that believe in a fairy-tale sky fairy. And it needs a suitably church like carport .. can NEVER understand why people are willing to leave an expensive asset sit out in the rain etc .. without at least a roof
