Absolutely beautiful ❤ an a part of History that's left ...

Finally someone who actually respects the buildings history. Well done? , many of these so called designers, strip t?he heart and soul out and make the houses look like a 2025 property. Do not get me wrong, I do like a few modern clasic touches, but please let these wonderful historical homes, speak for themselves ❤

So many stairs and only one bedroom?

Watching from upstate New York, USA. This is the first house I've seen anywhere that has the same trim, doors, hardware, etc as the farmhouse I grew up in, which was built in 1791. It's kind of surreal. Thank you for sharing this.

Candy box dreamy ✨ Just wondering how folks in the days of Tudor swept through the rooms and hallways with the voluminous clothing they wore in that era. Women with massive skirts and elaborate headpieces and men with gimormous shouldered cloaks.

With the outlook onto the park through the large windows the front room is the best location for enjoying the scenery. Even though the patio is private, it’s enclosed. Original kitchen can be left in place or turned into bedroom with en-suite. Can extension be done into patio area? Bathroom and small office space/nook and more storage.

I can see why it's designed that way to preserve the beams but I don't like all the angles.

Yuck n over priced too.

Stunning, landscape and cottage.

My expectation of heaven is rather like this village....though I also did imagine Miss Marple in the local tea house querying a nearby murder. (sigh)

The idea of spending 4.5 million on a leasehold (i.e. enriching further the rich of yore) for the privilege of sweating over groceries is a bit too much. There are gorgeous, sensitive ways of adding lifts to historical buildings.

Delightful! I'd reconfigure entirely and probably play with mezzanine and glass floors. Keeping those gorgeous windows in the attic and up the spiral staircase unseen behind walls would be so sad.

Watching this 11 months later, I do hope whoever took it on is well underway to bringing the beauty back. Gorgeous place with so much potential!

We Dutch started the production from the tiles in about 1620. It was really something for the rich. It was to show off. Look what i can afford. The import was expensive so we started copying the Chinees.
