Syd Barrett (short-lived founder; guitar plus) the originator and quirky eccentric; inevitably the consequential muse. I love that a young girl likes this music! And she likes how the stage looks. Yes, what's not to like? And this is from 1994! Pink Floyd are just timeless and she proves it.
Cream, Pink Floyd, Crosby stills and Nash, Rush, Grateful Dead, Black Sabbath, AC DC, Aerosmith, Jefferson starship, and Airplane the have explosive vocals also.
I just found your review of “Comfortably Numb”. As a 51 year old white, who grew up in a small town with a 50/50 mix. I/we grew with“well rounded” love of music. Ray, Ottis, Barry, Aretha, Kool and the Gand, Smoky (Dear heaven’s what a voice!) not to mention my personal favorite, Lionel, before and after the Commodores!! Still the greatest voice, my opinion ever!! This would have NEVER happened had I grown up somewhere else. Cable TV, psst! We got two channels on the rabbit ears and large antenna, three if the wind blew in the right direction. Nonetheless, it was all about the music. The artist I grew up on were troubadours! For me it’s more universal then math! I’m a huge Metallic fan. They wrote a lot of songs with lyrics that speak to me after 5 tours in the Korengal Valley and 4 in Iraq. All I want is to be is “Comfortably Numb” for the remaining time I have left. I don’t want to feel anything! I completely understand what he’s saying now!! Anyway, most of Pink Floyd’s music and lyrics surround the serious mental issue from PTSD, Roger’s father suffered from after fighting in WW II. However, here’s the actual story behind “Comfortably Numb”. The lyrics were inspired by Waters's experience of being injected with tranquillisers for stomach cramps before a Pink Floyd show in Philadelphia on the 1977 In the Flesh Tour. "That was the longest two hours of my life," Waters said, "trying to do a show when you can hardly lift your arm." The song had the working title "The Doctor". If you can do one for me, for the brothers I lost. One of those was my twin brother Nicholas and misfortune of seeing it happen during a fire fight and that feeling of helplessness once I was able get to him. I would be honored if you would review “Brothers In Arms” by Dire Straits, which is actually the title of the album. For all our brothers and sisters who paid that ultimate sacrifices.

The Pulse tour was awesome. I saw them at Earls Court in London on this tour and also at the old Wembley stadium in London another time. As others have said listen to whole albums. Will they tour again? I do not think so even though they could just name their price. Due respect to the entire band and RIP Richard Wright.
Lucky Man lol id have loved to see Pink Floyd live, but i was only 9yrs old in 94, and when later dates came up, for a long time i was in a bit of a bad place with an ex so couldnt, and now alas it couldnt happen again without Richard Wright, not properly anyway. Nick Mason is doing his own thing, and Dave Gilmour and Roger Waters wont talk to each other so i dont think it will happen unfortunately 😕
@@kf8575 Hello. It's possible that Dave Gilmore will tour again and he normally does some Floyd numbers as you probably know to possibly include Comfortably Numb. Also Australian Pink Floyd do a good show including one if I remember correctly Dave Gilmore! Main thing continue to enjoy The Floyd and keep safe in this currently uncertain world!

Surfwax look um up its punk alternative.. he is the lead guitarist and singer. Hes paying his dues it's hard on the road. Club after club. But Im retired and enjoy watching reaction videos from people that enjoys rock music.❤️🤘
The premise is of a rock star to high to play so a doctor is sent in to give him something to get him back on his feet get him through the show . A haunting introspective look at stardom and its trappings.

Greatest rock band ever. Not just musicians and song writers......story tellers.
I came back to see you doing the poomm, pompom .....sooo nice!!!!
That is a beautiful ending of a performance
Such a nice performance 👏🏽
Classic Pink Floyd best music ever ... ...
Cream, Pink Floyd, Crosby stills and Nash, Rush, Grateful Dead, Black Sabbath, AC DC, Aerosmith, Jefferson starship, and Airplane the have explosive vocals also.
“The child is grown, The dream is gone” 😥
That line always hits me hard.
Famous quote from star trek, go where no man had gone before
Reaction vid.... please react instead of talking.
Leave the explanation till after.
Listen and react, let the music take you wherever you are ❤
I just found your review of “Comfortably Numb”.
For all our brothers and sisters who paid that ultimate sacrifices.
babe queenie,, no disco ball.. sphere..call it's called a sphere..and you know your mind was blown..if you know of another concert that is any fvcking better,, let me know..let us know..
The whole idea of a reaction vid is to see the reactions as it is happening.. she did a great job.. one of my favorite songs..
To really appreciate PF, listen to the lyrics, read about the history behind the music, and realize that the whole album tells a story. Glad you enjoy some of the greatest of all time.
Cutie pie wish you was still doing reactions I love seeing people enjoying great music as much as I do. My whole family was musicians but saddly there all gone and I had a bad motorcycle accident 4 years crushed my cord hand now I can't play nothing but bar cords I don't want to be that guy. I'm a lead I worked to hard all them years learning. At one point I could play this song note for note with David. But now I do have a nephew I help him on his albums he's on tour now with his band. Surfwax look um up its punk alternative.. he is the lead guitarist and singer. Hes paying his dues it's hard on the road. Club after club. But Im retired and enjoy watching reaction videos from people that enjoys rock music.❤️🤘
Actually, you look amazing. Love that younger people are listening to music i literally grew up on. I saw that concert, live.
The premise is of a rock star to high to play so a doctor is sent in to give him something to get him back on his feet get him through the show . A haunting introspective look at stardom and its trappings.
I Love seeing peoples reactions when they see and hear Real music 4 the first time
Number one rule listening to pink floyd is not to talk.
That is a 3 million dollar stage show! Pink Floyd had soul. That is why they have endured.
You have just experienced the Greatest Guitar Solo of all time. Welcome to the Machine.
Listen without interrupting and you'll enjoy the performance even more
That was live. How many of today's singers/bands can sound like that? a/ None.
