Lemmy Kilmeister; a voice finely tuned by Marlboro cigarettes and Jack Daniels in copious amount! RIP Lemmy!
Supported by a cast of a thousand women.
How many baby Kilmisters are there??🎸🤟🏾
RIP all of them, Lemmy, Philthy and Eddie.
Iconic rocker... Qepd
And had a diet of junk food, meat, and cheese.
This is one of those songs that starts kicking your ass from the first note and DOES. NOT. LET. UP.
Lemmy Kilmister, "Fast" Eddie Clarke and Phil "Philthy Animal" Taylor, three amazing talents... got to see them live a bunch of times in the late-80's and early 90's. Left every show deaf, and had to communicate through interpretive dance for a few days after each concert...
Eddie left the band in May 1982.
I've always said Ace Of Spades is like being shot out of a cannon. Instant 100mph.
Lemmy is like a family member to ppl. He's possibly the coolest rock & roll star ever. The stories about him are epic. Not so fun fact: Dave Grohl of Foo Fighters delivered his eulogy & it was priceless. Fun fact: the reason he has the microphone set up that way is bcoz he was shy to make eye contact with the audience so he set the microphone to where he had to look up.
rocks from the second the needle drops...fire from second 1
They were amazing in concert !
Motorhead is my favorite band. I've seen them so many times in club shows and concerts. The time span is for seeing them is very long, I'.m 70 and still love them. Lemmy said that when the crowd leaves the club shows their ears should be bleeding. He was spot on.
Huh? 😂
Lemmy baby! He’s a larger than life character. They also did a really good cover of The Stones’ “Sympathy For the Devil.” RIP Lemmy you legend you!
this british band has rock n roll coming out of their pores, legends here in blighty
Worked at two gigs with them,”moving furniture” in Stoke,England and I crammed more into that week than a year of Friday nights.
And by the way, they are really great guys too,no airs or graces,Lemmy (RIP) is an absolute gentleman and very generous.
But in that week,I never saw him sleep!
I didn’t much either though, the backstage benefits were too good to turn down!!
The two black identical twin sisters in the hotel is a story for another time.
🙂
RIP the original trio, Fast Eddie, Animal and Lemmy.
In 1980 this song peaked at 15th place on the UK charts.
Other Motöhead songs to check out:
"Motörhead," "Overkill," "Bomber, "On Parole, "Iron Fist."
Good stuff!
Another gem by Motorhead is a song called "Orgasmatron". Its lyrics will give y'all a lot to talk about.
R.A.M.O.N.E.S.RAMONES!!! RAMONES!!!!
Lemmy was the Chuck Berry of his generation. Clever songwriting. BUT listen and read the words to “1916” by motorhead and you will cry. It reads like a movie and Lemmy’s voice is heartbreaking.
Lemmy was such a great rocking killer bass player. Long live LEMMY
Asia: "This song will get you into ALL kinds of trouble!" Best review ever in one short sentence! 🏆🏆🏆
🤘😎🤘 "Thats the way I like it baby...I dont wanna live forever !
I used to love putting in the earbuds under my helmet and ripping the twisties on my motorcycle to this song!!!
This song got me Fired Up to the point of taking dangerous risks!!! And I loved every second of it!!!
NOW YOU ARE ON TO SOMETHING!! Ace of Spades is just flat out, high octane, Rock n Roll!!
"Anywhere on Earth with electricity has Motorhead fans."
Rip Lemmy!
A day late because yesterday was the “ 8th of May , 8th of May”
Great song and reaction
Great reaction to an awesome song! Thanks for posting this. It was hilarious!
RIP LEMMY
You guys crack me up - this song will get you going!! Love your comments (and Asia telling BJ exactly like it is)☺💞
The pure definition of Rock and Roll
You guys should see the video of them performing this. It's epic. Rest in peace Lemmy
I remember them doing this song on an episode of "The Young Ones"
“Everything louder than everything else” they didnt care about what people thought, if they played loud enough they just sound like they cheering😂😂😂😂
This song still holds up for me no matter how many times I heard it while playing Tony Hawk Pro Skater 3.
SO MANY great Motorhead songs; I recommend "Jailbait," "Iron Horse," and "Please Don’t Touch" with Girlschool.
I first heard this song back in the 80s when they played on a great TV show called The Young Ones which was on MTV.
I start singing this everytime I play Rummy
You should watch it live!!! The drummer is sick!!!!🤘
You guys are so funny. It’s a motivational song LOLOLOL
Glad to see a younger generation enjoying one's of the best bands ever. Saw them in 1986 at the Santa Monica Civic After the show they all came out and spent 15-20 minutes talking to us all. different
Hahaha. #truth
Man this band was so hot at the time. And there is a reasonable quality music video of this from back with the original lineup, and they are also good man I sure do love Philthy Animal on the drums. If you see the video you'll know what I mean. They didn't call him that for nothing.
This song is metal's answer to The Gambler by Kenny Rogers.
I remember being in a pub in Birmingham England (the birthplace of motorhead i believe)a few years back and there was a huge fight going on and this was on the box!
their biggest hit, its a wake-up song, cool one, all in,🤘🤪🤘
" SIN CITY " by ACDC is another great song when you're at a casino. 🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙
The "dead man's hand" as sung in these lyrics refers to the hand that Wild West legend Wild Bill Hickock had in his hands at the time some punk kid he had met previously came up behind him while he was playing cards and shot him in the back of the head, Wild Bill was holding a two pair in his hand at the time one pair of two Black Aces and one pair of two Black eights. So if you ever get a two pair hand of two Black Aces and two Black eights then you are holding the same "dead man's hand" that Wild Bill had when he was killed. You might just want to look behind you for safety sake. ; )
Mr. Kilmeister THANK YOU for everything, your music keep making us metalheads more stronger to face the fucking life, your legacy is eternal /,,/ Rest in Power. P.S.: Metal is a style of life.
We are MOTÖRHEAD and we play ROCK n Roll 🤘🤘
I LOVE YOU GUYS, I'm a 69 Y.O. African Decendent who need my HIGH ENERGY STIMULATION, THANK YOU GUYS!!!
Motorhead is pure rock and roll! My favorite of theirs is Eat the Rich.
This was the birth of Speed Metal. Lemmy Kilmister telling everyone to keep out of his way, even if he is holding Aces and Eights, the dead man's hand.
The "live fast die young" anthem
First song that got me into Motörhead and why I love the Tony Hawk series
how can you not be fired up after listening to this loudly!
If wondering what he meant by the dead man's hand again he's talking about Ace's and 8's . That's the hand Wild Bill Hickok was holding when he shot in the back of the head
The song subtitles were in all caps, and for one it's totally appropriate.
Lemmy+Kilmeister= HAMMER DOWN!!
This song is so friggin' badass!!!!
I shouldn't have listened to this at 10pm 😂 those drums were blistering 🔥
LOL this song. The Ace of Spades! Very poplar hit for them.
If I am not mistaken, this song/band is considered to be the first metal band (coming out of what was considered punk). Unless I got that backwards.
They weren't the first metal band.
“Motivational music” 😂 I love it
You'd be hard pressed to find a character quite like Lemmy Kilmeister, he was one of a kind.
The great Lemmy, a total powerhouse and I was privileged to see him twice, first the original Motorhead, opening for Ozzy Osbourne on his Blizzard of Ozz tour with Randy Rhodes on lead guitar. Both bands were absolute killers. Then I saw Motorhead moog Brian Robertson from Thin Lizzy on lead guitar, I was just to the left of Lemmy's mike stand, right on the stage. Unreal performance, they played most of Another Perfect Day and their best tunes to that point. I had ringing in the ears for a couple days and a bit of hearing loss but man was it worth it. Lemmy tules! RIP to the original Motorhead lineup! 🎸
Brilliant love this song... Somethig different for you guys The beautiful south...old red eyes is back a band from the 90s over here great song 👍 👍
Motorhead covered Enter sandman and it's kinda🔥🔥🔥🔥
Rock on 🤘🏼
The Deadman's Hand they reference in the song is a full house of Aces and 8's. They say its the hand Wild Bill Hickock had in his hand during the poker game when he was killed.
@birdmanhero: Nope, it's not a full house, it's two pair, specifically black aces and black eights with a kicker.
Motorhead feat Ice T & Whitfield Crane - Born To Raise Hell
Hawkwind - Silver Machine (Lemmy on vocals)
Motorhead - On Parole
Motörhead is more or less the beginning of Speed Metal - and that's both a description of the tempo of the music, and their favorite drug.
great reaction, you need to see the band to fully enjoy them
Lol thanks for the laugh.
Needed it today
🤘😎🤘
Lemmy said in an interview "we wanted to be the band, that if we moved next door to you, your lawn would die".
On the road to 300K!!!!
Yes!!!! I love Motorhead.
Lemmy didn't care if you're white black brown, whatever. He was a man of the metal people and he loved us all! Long live metal
As I eulogized Lemmy:
Growl
Drink
Screw
Repeat
I was a big Motorhead fan in my teens in the 80s. I met both Lemmy and Philthy Phil a couple of times. On one of those occasions it was my buddy's 18th birthday so Lemmy handed him a giant tallboy can of beer. My buddy said, "i'm only 18 so not old enough to drink". Lemmy said, "you are in England, mate".
Great reaction… according to Lemmy, they wanted to write a song and just jam in as many gambling references as they can… 😂
This is HARD rock!!
True gamblers either win or they're "about even". They never actually lose. Lifetime, I'm about even. 😉
This totally fucking rocks! My 2nd favorite song of all time; it's even better than Louie Louie!
If this song doesn't break you at the casino it'll at least get you a speeding ticket!
Best live band I ever had the pleasure of seeing!❤
Welcome to my attitude friends!
Lemmy was Jimmy Hendrix roadie and wrote many hit songs for Ozzy, Lita and many more.
I'm not sure but this may be one of the first metal songs to use a double bass peddle on the drums
Great live band music live working big time
Smashing!
I always enjoy watching people of different backgrounds experiencing music from opposite ends of the spectrum. Music is universal. No matter the language or origin music unites humans everywhere. Even sampling is a form of respect. You gotta really be paying attention to other musicians and singers and songwriters to use bits and pieces to create new styles. Just ask Dolly Parton what she thought of Mariah Carey singing her tune!!! Thanks for the great video. Y'all have great energy and a cool vibe!!(sorry I meant Whitney Houston)
Yes!
Motorhead was the link between punk and Metal
Another good one by them is "Born To Raise Hell".
I was singing this song just yesterday as "The 8th of May" (try it... it works)
Thin Lizzy “Thunder & Lightning” or “”Cold Sweat”!
Play it loud 👌
You gotta know when to quit? Lemmy knew when to quit! 70 years or so - He never stopped! hehe hehe hehe
Classic!!!!!! Awesome stuff
Oooooh!!!!!! Let’s gooooooooo
[Chazz and Rex are testing Chris]
Chazz : Who'd win in a wrestling match, Lemmy or God?
Chris Moore : Lemmy.
[Rex imitates a game show buzzer]
Chris Moore : ... God?
Rex : Wrong, dickhead, trick question. Lemmy *IS* God.
THIS back in the day flyin down the midnite highway out of Hotlanta comin back from the strip clubs in my Bandit Trans Am with the Ttops out & the subwoofers bangin this jam ✌💖☮
RIP Lemmy You should try "The Game" from the same group. :)
Time to play the Game. HHH wanted only one man to make his entro music, and he called Lemmy.
It's a good thing this song is under 3 minutes, cos the energy and intensity would be too much to endure otherwise, lol.
Hahahaha, I love you guys 😂
Y’all have to watch “Vegas Vacation” with Chevy Chase at this point🤣 they explore exactly what you’re talking about it. If you loved “Christmas Vacation” you’ll laugh your asses off! 😂
Went to see Motorhead on a regular basis with some mates, usually took a couple of days to get your hearing fully back lol, Bomber would be great next time guys.
Could be used as a metaphor for life also.
