- On this week's episode, Moran sits down with Dr. William Li, an internal medicine doctor, vascular biologist, and author of the book "Eat to Beat Disease." Dr Li always had an interest in food and diet lifestyles since he was young, and he studied the links between food, culture and the health of communities around the world for years. Dr Li looked to blood vessels to find common denominators within different diseases and has been involved in 41 FDA-approved medications for disease treatment from his studies.

The medical director for the Angiogenesis Foundation, Dr Li explains the way our body grows blood vessels, a central tenant to health. His research has shown that certain foods help our body overgrow blood vessels that could potentially cause diseases like cancer.
Dr LI applies the "Food as Medicine Research" method to his work, talking about foods that activate our health defenses, and what to add to our body to build ourselves up. His personal mantra is to "love your food & love your health."
In this in-depth conversation, Dr Li discusses fasting & its relation to his research, his "grand slam" foods, what helps treat disease along with prevention, and the power of fiber. - Навчання та стиль
I have his book Eat to beat disease and I really like it. Thanks to Dr. Li
I loved Dr. Li’s presentation but I was distracted by the host who seemed to be doing other things on her computer during the interview. Being present and active listening are important even on a podcast because people watch the video.
I had the same experience, but Dr. Li was phenomenal.
Perhaps gluten intolerance may just be glyphosate intolerance? I switched to organic only (difficult to do with all grains) and have very little problems now. I don't eat much bread now, but when I do its the good stuff
I love Primal Kitchen products, especially its avocado oil! 🥑
Love doctor Li! too bad the host seemed to have better things to do then to actually be present and respectful to her guest.
DEAR DR. LI,
