I enjoy your informative and professional videos. About the Logi MX Master 3: I'm very happy with it (ergonomic, many options) but the top buttons are not that silent IMHO and it took me a few days to 'unhear' it. It seems that this mouse and the MX Keys keyboard can share the same dongle (so you only need one to connect both to a device). I really wanted to like this keyboard, but not having the default gaps between the function keys on the top row was a dealbreaker for me. Hopefully you'll present your new mouse (and keyboard?) in an upcoming video. Keep up the good work!
Mx Master 3 for Mac. After suffering through a Magic Mouse for a number of years it is a game changer! Works on the Mac’s Bluetooth (I have a MBP 16” with a CalDigit 3). One cavet… the MX3 for Mac is a bit cheaper than the regular MX3 because I believe they left out the dongle circuit witch some PC’s need. I know you also have a PC so you might want to check compatibility before going for the Mac version if you are planning on using it for both sysyems. Both versions work the same and wonderfully customizeable. The “Fellow Filmmaker” just did a setup video just a couple of days ago that is really informative. Cheers from an American in Paris.
I agree with Leon - Logitech MX Master 3 (for Mac) is the best IMHO. I bought the new Magic Mouse and do not like it at all, However the new Apple Magic Keyboard with Touch ID and Numeric Keypad is better for me now than the MX Keys for Mac (because of the Touch ID). Hey Cat. I have the MX Master Mouse and just got the MX Keys. Both are great. Highly recommend. Ultra quiet (both). I control my Mac Mini M1, MacBook Air and my iPad Pro with the same keyboard and mouse. Customizable and sleek. Go for it.
RE: New mouse I am about to try the Logitech MX Master 3. You may want to research on your own, but… features I’m interested in are: Quiet; CAN use a dongle, but can use Bluetooth instead (I.e. no dongle?!); thumb scroll wheel to go laterally side-to-side when editing video or audio; I THINK can also “jump” from MacOS to PC to iOS (?!), Mac desktop to PC to iPad/tablet (?!). I mostly edit audio, but could be great for video editing too with “side scroll”. Good luck with your mouse hunt! We don’t like to see you upset! ;)
