I'm using a MacBook Pro M1 pro and both, virtual cam and mic, both work in Teams for me. I did have to do a full restart after updating the beta. I always restart (sometimes totally shutdiwn) my computer after upgrades and installs.

Do I need this Virtual Mic feature if I use a good mixer? I own the Zoom L-8 and the Yamaha MG10XU
If you add any delay in ecamm or want to play videos or sound effects in ecamm then yes you will need it for zoom to hear them
