Fantastic, Marshall! Thanks for showing how EASY Ecamm can be! (I think more of us need to SHOW how we can PRACTICE by just recording and NOT streaming at first!)

Hi Marshall, I appreciate your tutorials. I'm having a hard time getting my Canon R6 MII to focus on my face, which I believe you're using. Would you mind sharing AF Servo settings. Please help!!
If I remember correctly, Marshall is using a Canon M50 Mk2. So I am not sure his settings would be as helpful. If you haven't already, try searching face tracking tutorials, or asking in our community (www.ecamm.com/community)
Love your videos! A couple of questions. How can I do a green screen chroma key with out using a green sheet using a green graphic? Also I can’t find where to drop my lower thirds overlays so the show up for me in eCamm live?
Is there a place where I can get some scenes already created. Like common screens. I would like to spend more time recording vs building all these scenes
Hi there! Great question. That's not something we have built into Ecamm (yet), but you could swing over to Live Streaming Pros (www.livestreamingpros.com/store) and purchase pre-made scenes and editable graphic packs from their team that work perfectly with Ecamm.
Don't understand where you got Marshall Main overlay. Is that something you already had created? How do I create that? I can't find those little boxes, or I should say templates you're talking about.
Hi James, I created the Overlays. You can create them in Canva or design program of choice (ex. Photoshop, Affinity Designer, etc.) You can also build a lot of them right in Ecamm, you'd just want to start with a nice background image and then add your camera overlays on top. Hope that helps!
Marshall is a professional graphic designer, so he actually sells some templates you can use in Ecamm. If you're interested in those, you can find them at ecamm.tv/47WMyDI If you want an easy step-by-step on how to create graphics to use in Ecamm, we highly recommend our Canva Workshop series here: ecamm.tv/47TjJIo
Shalom to you! This has been a great video for me. I’ve been trying to work with OBS and I’ve heard so many people using this. It really looks simple, straightforward, and easy to use. I I’m just wondering about two things: oh, does this have a studio mode? and is there a way to display Bible verses, as I am looking to use this in ministry. Thanks again and have a great day!
Hi Tushiyah, Yes! Ecamm's "studio mode" is called Preview Mode. And yes, you can absolutely display Bible verses. In fact, we have quite a few faith leaders who are using Ecamm for their services. You should jump into our Community at ecamm.tv/community? to learn more :)
Somewhat helpful but still moved fast for those who aren't that familiar with it. I have been a customer for several years but haven't used for about 9 months. Things have changed, probably for the better but I am essentially starting from scratch again.
Hi Tushiyah! I use a combination of: Ecamm Live, Quicktime's built-in screen recorder and an App Called Presentation Assistant (to put a circle around my pointer and show clicks).
Great video, but things moved pretty fast during this tutorial. I am a Pro Member for ECAMM Live, and it's a lot to take in. When you created the Overlays, you immediately skipped to your folder, and I got lost on where or how to save my scene (if it's required) to create a Countdown scene for my future Livestreams. This was a bit difficult to follow because trying to run ECAMM Live while simultaneously watching on UA-cam was cumbersome. How do you save what you do in ECAMM in order to drag and drop what you've created to make a Countdown overlay? Thanks in advance for responding!
Hi there! Ecamm Live automatically saves what you do as you create scenes and overlays. You will need a new scene for every overlay. You can learn more about creating scenes in this tutorial: ecamm.tv/3rYLS0s
@@EcammLive Thank you so much for your feedback and recommendation! I will definitely check this out and go from there! what's keeping me from using ecamm is the inability to edit the videos afterwards. if i was in a circle in the bottom left but upon review before posting it live i decide that in certain parts i should be tall and on the right, can't make that change. that's messed up. i think that's a feature they need to release asap.
Hi T'Variuness - thanks for the note. Ecamm started as a live streaming app and has grown to include "live to tape" video production. If you build out scenes and storyboard your videos in advance, you shouldn't need a lot of post production editing work. You can also use our Preview Mode to make any changes while streaming and then just trim those out when you're done.
Ok please show me how to use Ecamm live and I will switch and sell both of my Yolobox and I will pay a little to learn from you let’s go I’m ready like Friday and Saturday no cap!!🧢

If your iPad Mini records in 4K 60, you should be able to use that feature in Ecamm. We would recommend a tool like Camo to get the best use out of your iPad camera.
Here is what I tried to do. I have two monitors and a " dummy" monitor on a HDMI plugin. I can't figure out how to send anything to it or see anything from it. My Keynotes are done for church service. Usually 40 or so slides. What I want to do is have me in one frame and them in another probably through a screen share. My notes are going to my primary monitor and split to the teleprompter monitor. I tried to use Stream Deck XL to advance slides and to change ecamm scenes. Problem sometimes the slide advance works and some times it doesn't same with scene changes. Is there any way to when I advance slides to have a multi action bring Keynote to the active screen and then advance and do the same thing when I change scenes make sure ecamm is active and then change scenes. I don't want to use Live video within Keynote not enough time in a day to change all the slides for that. I just need Keynote slide show started in a window on ecam my notes on the telepromter plus be able to see a monitor to know Im actually recording the program. I was hoping to use the dummy adapter for that. I use a MacMini with a Caldigi hub. Any ideas appreciated.
You cannot advance slides when Keynote is not in focus. You need to create a multi-action to set Keynote as the focused app and then advance the slide. Alternatively you can use a standard issue usb slide remote like you see in every conference. Logitech versions start at about $20. BTW this would be the same problem with one monitor or with any other app. It's how Keynote and PowerPoint work. -Doc

How can I film vertically with my iPhone? When I switch it it stays horizontally and I want to record videos for ig reels so it would need to be vertical. The reason I would use it is because I need it to connect my rode podmic usb to my video recording with iPhone.
If you're using Ecamm, you can go to the Options menu and choose "Tall 9x16" as your Stream Shape. Then you can stream or record in vertical and still connect your cameras, microphones, etc and use all of Ecamm's awesome features.
