    Thanks for the comment on skipping the wood tiles. I am about to make my first tiles and actually wanted to make flippable tiles right on the go, but somehow didn't really want to go the extra mile nor thought they would necessarily be needed in game. You just confirmed my thought and made my life a little easier. :-)

    I’ve been following your videos for some time now and you’re just so awesome!! I’m seriously considering getting a proxxon to level up my tiles (I use foam core for now).
    Keep up the good work!!

      I bought it about a year ago, and I wish I bought it earlier. You will NOT regret it! 😁

    Nice video! Liked and subscribed.
    That's it, this year I'm making tiles in my free time. What material are you using, is that just foam?

      Yup, just foam. In my local shop I can get 2 cm sheets. But 1 or 4 cm also works. Now get building!

    hello! good job! what primer do you use? seems it can't be acrylic primer, because i used it and foam was melted.. can you give an advice, sir?

    • @howtomakeasupernova
      @howtomakeasupernova  3 місяці тому

      I use foam safe spray paint. It is water-based and doesn’t melt your foam. I get it at my local hardware store. It’s a bit thicker than normal spray paint. I hope this helps!

      Everything is from UA-cam. Try ‘portal’ and ‘lava river’.

    Nice tutorial on tiles. 🙂 What kind of foam is that? - And where do you buy it?

    • @howtomakeasupernova
      @howtomakeasupernova  6 місяців тому

      It's called XPS foam and you can get it at the hardware store at the insulation section

    • @ronstarius
      @ronstarius 6 місяців тому

      It is hard to find in Denmark at a reasonable price, and most foam insulation here is EPS... Just wondering where you bought yours. 🙂@@howtomakeasupernova

      @@ronstarius My shop is called Hornbach. In Holland you can also buy it at large building material shops for large companies. I hope this helps.
