Not only a sales guru our trusted Bob but also a technical genius 😂 I’m a big Honda fan but what I hate about my power gens (comparable GX engine but smaller) and lawn mower is the horizontal oil drain, makes a mess. Cars, bikes etc have vertical drains, this makes life easier and a better way to get all of the old oil dripping out.
Good explanation video 👍 I know it may sound wasteful, but when I do an oil change I use some new sacrificial oil to flush out any deposits after I drain the oil. The new oil is thicker and will trap the gunk and pull it out when it drains. Dump the sacrificial oil in until it runs clear then do your fill up. I know it will cost you more but it will extend the life of your engine.
Great video Bob. My son is going to make me a longer, flexible funnel to help with adding the oil.

Well thanks for your trust. I agree a vertical drain would be awesome - the Kubota D902 on 35 SHO does have that. Have a good weekend!
Great job Bob👍👍
Thank you!
Maintaining your equipment is key! They will definitely schedule the time for you if you don’t. Well said Bob👍🏻👍🏻

Thanks Lyle! I can see your point, I’ve never done that though.
That’s a great looking machine
Oh yeah, new owner is going to love it!

Thanks Doug, you too! 👊
Nice!
Does it matter if I keep 10W30 oil in my 28C in cold weather for starting since it has electric start?
Honda recommends 5w-30 for cold weather
What diameter spec should I look for when buying an oil drain extension?
Drainz-it Hon 1012 is the part number if you want to add. Thanks!
@@WolfeRidgeSplitters The drain tube should be standard IMO.
