"...better to be loud in a good position, than silent in a bad position..." That tip alone is probably going to save my butt alot in this game. Cheers!

    • @Niklas.K95
      @Niklas.K95 4 роки тому +9

An obviously new guy fired at me and was so certain of my position that he didn't moved at all.
One change of position later (5sec sprint) i killed him with my first shot fired against him.
He just stood there waiting to get the headshot after starting a mid range fight with only a short 'Romero Rival' and a 'Conversion Pistol'.
To be as loud as a train is no problem if your enemy is oblivious enough.
Even when he isn't that stupit he needs to adapt fast.
Give your enemy every opportunity to fail you can.
Eventually he will hang himself on one of them.

@@Niklas.K95 the thing is while runs are loud fights push you with so much adrelanine and stress that people often dont notice them at all. One thing I do is that my friend flanks them with a shotgun while I keep peeking out in order to distract them. Works quite often

See, this gets me FUCKED every time.
IE, just played a game less than 30 minutes ago where I blasted a dude (who was cautiously scope-walking around a corner) in the chest with the Sparks LLR at 3-5m (149dmg), then followed up with two Nagant M1895 Officer shots (2x91dmg) and he STILL didn't die.
Running back around a corner to heal and reload, he tossed a frag bomb after me down a stair case'd corner which promptly blasted me to high hell instantly.
This dude TANKED 331 damage and laughed it off.

depends if they know your there. You can technically get away with peeking the same spot if you got a silenced rifle or crossbow, assuming they haven't figured where u are. In that clip i believe the opposing hunters were focused on his team, masking his presence.
Basically, if you know ur hidden on a good angle and they are pre-occupied you can get away with a bit more. especially useful in 3rd party fights as a solo.

Yeah well we make so much more money than we used to before release. It's easier to stack money and the better you get the more you make. Buying better stuff gets u more kills so more money, therefore it is an investment! ^^ I used at first to only get free hunters with Veterly or shotguns but then by the time you realize ur already level 80+ you've got like 15,000$+ and then u start buying good stuff so u win more and the money won't go down lol.
It's been like 6 months that I'm trying to waste my 15-18K in order to prestige. The money was sometime going down but overall kept stacking so last week I decided to only buy Avtomats for 10 Legendary Hunters and it used 3/4 of my money but damn I already went over 6K -_-
Gun variants and bigger dynamites barely cost more than the stock version so yea, don't be afraid of getting the gear you need or want.

    1. Play the game for combat and run towards gunshots, you'll condition yourself to not be afraid of death. Also gunplay experience.
    2. Always go for the gauntlet, no exceptions.
    3. If you always keep moving semi sporadically don't be afraid to get your head blown off, most people can't hit those shots. Once they miss you know where they are.

The best plays I have made in this game is when I make peace with failure. I usually play with pretty goofy loadouts, and with that I can entertain myself just by imagining what the enemy team thinks as I rush in guns blazing, no regard for my life or my gear.
If I die, I laugh at the thought and move on, if I win, I win.

That last statement is so true. I always call other players walking restock posts and armament backup. This not only helps to keep the spirits up, especially for our less experienced players, but it also helps to get them into a predatory mindset.
It's a game and it's totally okay, if not down right required, to dominate others if you want to come out alive and loaded with bounties. Best way to improve this, is by going against teams of three but split up from the beginning. Every one of us has to hunt down one of the other teams of 3. Often times we end up flanking 2 other teams fighting each other naturally.

On the topic of the last tip: Me and my friends always try to clear as much of the server as we can, before ever fighting the boss. Sometimes we die right away, sometimes we clear two teams on our end of the map, get some better gear or throwables, and have an easier boss fight.

When I'm doing trio, I roll onto a location, get the high ground and peak. Just tagging someone with a shot is ok cause it usually makes my teammates job easier. Also, depending on cover distance, a throwable will flush em out or kill.

I understand how these tips are designed for improving your game sense and mechanics by forcing you to engaging with the game more (you encourage a very active playstyle so that people can actually practice instead of bumbling along until their demise). That said, I play Hunt almost nothing like this. haha. I think I'm shaping up to be a decent player, but I will take the stealth approach to a map 90% of the time. And if I can extract a bounty without ever killing another player, those are perhaps the best feeling wins for me. :)
Suffice to say, the tips here are good for engaging the game for the sake of practice, but don' t forget to have fun and develop your own style. See you in the Bayou.

These are excellent tips; unlike many you find on UA-cam for this game. I'd like to add ninth tip: Enjoy yourself. Sweaty, angry players who get frustrated easily and yell at their teammates (especially in earshot of enemies) are easy prey and an overall detriment to their team. They make costly mistakes and never learn from them because they place all the blame on others. If a teammate does something you don't like, lead by example instead of cutting them down. Being an ass isn't going to help them focus.
It's a game afterall. If you're not enjoying it what's the point?
Or, keep playing like that and continue being easy fodder for the rest of us.

another tip I would add: if you do move quickly, try to make yourself unpredictable. dont just B-line for a clue right when you spawn. I'm more of a stealthy player (i just like that playstyle) and i've killed 3 man squads solo because they made a ton of noise just sprinting towards a clue and i got the drop on them because i had time to set up a position and wait them out.

I agree with everything that he's said except for avoiding deep waters. If you got gators legs it's great way to move around the map, as not many players expect people to take those route and has gotten me a lot of great shots on teams. With the last note of not being afraid of other players is absolutely true and keep in mind that the game always tries to find players on your same level.

I do the opposite of most things you say.
Playing solo most of the time. Sparks Sniper and Uppercut always in the bag. being pretty slow on purpose.
Waiting for others to get ahead of me while I take the clues slightly later.
I know where everyone is going and that my back is free. I ll sit back, take my time to observe and take shots that a guaranteed kills. Not staying in a single Spot after shooting 1-3 times is important and huge flanks tend to be rewarding as the Sniper helps to get the long distance kills.
I dont even care to much about the objective. I ll just kill some people and loot with vulture if I cant contest the bounty.
Its probably very annoying to face me

I’m well aware I’m shit at long distances so I don’t even bother with snipers and the like unless it’s really strong or has a good rate of fire. I typically bring a good medium range gun coupled w something that either has a really good rate of fire or a lot of stopping power. My favorite load out is the Winfield w either a silenced nagant w poison ammo and preferably fanning or if I have quartermaster then dual silenced nagants w poison ammo or a Romero hand cannon. No matter what main weapons I bring I always bring a med kit, a health syringe, and usually some dynamite or a fire bottle
